too much work, instead dropped it and got this beauty from turning in a bounty or getting a new level with the monarch, not sure which.

I finished the weekly heroic at level 28 as well as the Nightfall strike tonight. I got materials from nightfall, no change there, but I'm kinda glad because I needed the mats to upgrade my gear anyway. And since I'd only done the weekly on level 22 I got 6 coins bringing my total back up to 24. I'm still undecided on what Exotic piece to go for on my hunter. I'm not upgrading any armour till I know for sure which is getting replaced.

The Three Eyed Man helmet is probably best for PvP with the arcblade and melee buffs. The Crest of Alpha Lupi looks coolest and has the quick revives and decent ammo buffs. Which should I go for GAF?

Don't rush in and watch the radar, also get an AR if you don't already have one

Voidwalker's grenades, melee, and super all count for Void damage as well if you're a Warlock. Not sure if the other classes have an equivalent.

Having said that, I'm about to abandon that one too because of the death penalty. 500 kills with a particular kind of damage would be enough for this one, Bungie.

As I was made aware earlier, it's not 500 kills but 500 "points." You get a certain amount per kill, and lose a lesser amount per death. Still a pain, but not as bad as 500 kills. I went slightly negative in k/d in one match and still gained points.

Farming the cave of wonder in Old Russia. Farmed for about 90 mins total today (not all at once) and raised my cryptarch guy 3 levels and collected 6 legendary engrams. A helm, a Rocket launcher, and the other 4 turned into mats.

So I've been having crap luck with engrams in this game. I've had maybe 3 out of 15 Legendary engrams turn Legendary, and tonight, just before finishing up the game for the night, I thought what the hell I'll buy an Exotic Engram from Xur and just chance it, even though there's a 66% chance I won't get one for my class.

Well, low and behold, not only did I get an armour for my class, I got the one item I wanted most out of all others! The Crest of Alpha Lupi!

Now just to get my Legendary Gauntlets, Assault Rifle, Sniper and Shotgun, and I'm an even happier chappy! Also would love a better Gold//Silver/White shader to look all royal and bad ass.

Blink + shotgun is AMAZING in PvP. I telepoted behind a warlock as he shot out an nova bomb and shotgunned him from behind.

Also there was this hunter who set up swarm grenade mines in between me in him. He was also charging his fusion rifle. I tried to time exactly when he'd shoot. So I teleported clear passed his mines, and he also shot as I teleported so he missed and I shotgunned him LOL

I've decided that this is just not working out.

I have had another 8 legendary engrams today and every single one of them have been absolutely awful.

I need to get more shards so i can rank up my legendary boots and or rank my exotic chest up (thanks Xur) and just grab any crappy looking helm so I can at least get to a raiding position.

It just totally sucks that I have spent so long trying to beat the cryptarch that I have now really gone insane, plus having to write about how victorious he is on twitter is starting to get to me. I am loving the game still, just want to try a raid now!

I have no idea where you heard that from, but they're wrong. I've done enough bounties to get (and complete) two exotic bounties, and I haven't even heard of this being an option

Dismantle everything you don't plan on using ASAP lol

The only bounty I know of where you need them is for the pocket infinity exotic bounty where you need 10 rare or higher fusion rifles.

Oh, I didn't know it was for an exotic bounty. I will start dismantling them, then.

I didn't know strikes could give rare items for other classes as rewards. I got a rare helmet for a Warlock, and the others got engrams :l
