I'm getting the centipede error a LOT. Like I disconnect 5-6 times per night. I'm guessing I need to do some tinkering with my network settings?

I set my ps4 to a static dmz IP, set my DNS to google's (8.8.8.8, 8.8.8.4), and wired my connection.

Before that I was being d/c every 5-10 minutes. Now I can go hours without one, but it still happens.

Followed the thinking here. Not sure if it's correct, or if what I did changed anything at all (could have been stuff they changed their end), but it did improve.

Might be worth looking in to.

Really debating. Part of me wants to buy the exotic Titan helm, but then... I feel like if I can only have ONE exotic armor, that it should be the chest piece, right?

That or I will buy the Warlock gloves since I'm leveling one.

If I do public events for hours, how many strange coins could I make? Enough to buy both? Because I already have enough to buy one.

Helm is most expensive from vendor. Double the cost of the other parts and takes more than a week's worth of marks to earn. Worth considering.

Hm... Yeah you're right and hell, I wouldn't put it past Bungie to eventually allow full Exotic sets once we get even tougher content. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Damn. Got me all excited. But I wonder if I just hold on to any purples and level him up and then decrypt if it would help and possibly increase the percentage. I'm only at level 6 though.

Woo!! I got my first legendary armor! =D

I leveled the Cryptarch to level 9 and he sent a package to the post office. Got two purple engrams: one gloves and one boots. The gloves turned into a rare set of gloves, but the boots actually became Astrolord Boots.

So now I just need legendary gloves and helmet. I bought the Exotic chest piece from Xur today. I should be able to finally reach level 26 after leveling even just the boots and chest though.

Though having just realized that the Bad Juju perk regarding instant reload and bonus dmg, only applies when you get a kill ( I thought it was only the bonus dmg that was contigent on landing a kill ). I honestly would advice you against spending the effort required to get it. 15 rounds ( 5 shots ) per magazine is just crazy low, and unless you have very good aiming, you are gonna die so much in pvp because you have to reload during a firefight.

It also has very annoying visual effects that obscure your vision, making it hard to see.

And forget about using it as a pve weapon completely.

Can anyone comment if your exotic chest can be modified by shaders? Got the Armamentarium on my Titan today and I do like it, but shaders don't' effect it at all. Was curious if the otheres were like that.

I picked up Lucky Raspberry and I don't believe the shaders alter it's colours.

the raid is okay. the "puzzles" and objectives are mostly fun to complete, but the abundance of flashy explosions and shielded adds on top of vision debuffs and bullet sponge bosses make it extremely repetitive, disorienting and indeed exhausting. it isn't so much a challenge as it is a test of endurance; can only tolerate such a messy lightshow for so long before it becomes mind-numbing, often to the point of boring. am currently at the last boss and i have no desire to finish it, especially if the only reward is a shader. i'd sooner restart and just sit outside doing the gate.

vision debuffs are just tacky and completely took me out of the encounters.

bought a speeder upgrade from xur. now im just waiting for tuesday so i can buy a vanguard speeder and i'll be the fastest dude in the land, with red contrails of course.

i feel like im going to start getting into the cycle of do weekly events on my planned 3 titans, hope for hard light or suros regime, and then wait for xur and hope for either of them too. hopefully the queen even next week is good so i can get some refresher content in here.

Went from 1 to 3 legendaries by farming the cave today and bought one exotic from tentacle face.

Then I figured I would try my luck with the exotic engram and got chest armor for the hunter instead ;~;

I bought that helm from him first, then dismantled my previous legendary helm for shards, then bought that exotic engram which actually turned out to be for my class. But now I can't equip it because of that exotic helm, and I can't swap it because I dismantled the other helm

I was thinking about buying the exotic engram since he didn't bring anything new, but the chance of it turning to a hunter or Titan item scared me.

It scared my Warlock, too. First one gave the hunter chest, went back for more and got the titan one. The only exotics I have got in this game so far have been for these two classes, never even had a legendary turn into warlock gear, each time they do stay purple they're off class. I have been playing this game for close to 80 hours, my grimoire score is over 1700, but my Destiny seems to be level 26 with only bought legendary gear and a complete loathing for the cryptarch.

Well, considering that the description for Queen's wrath says nothing other than new bounties, I'd say it would be a safe assumption.


Combined Arms would actually be interesting if they had interesting vehicles like warthogs, banshee's etc. but as it stands.... Agreed.

I just got Red Death, exotic pulse rifle from Legendary Engram. That thing is amazing. Can't upgrade sights beyond iron sights, but it fires accurate when under fire, has hardly any recoil, and every kill with the weapon increases reload speed and heals me.

This sounds amazing, perfect for the Raid.

Tried the first boss in the vault, the guides don't seem to reflect what actually goes on during the mode. When we were fighting the Templar if we started kicking its ass it went into a "fake enrage" mode where it sent in tons of Minotaurs with the Harpies. All the guides I see are saying that the Harpies are all we have to deal with until enrage. What the hell is going on in the game? Some of these things for an FPS raid just don't seem like a good idea.

This is part 'check out my dude' post and part story

I have Thorn, Invective, Gjallarhorn, and Helm of Inmost Light Exotics not shown.

The sum total of my RNG loot is Thorn, Invective (exotic bounties), and Light/Beware (Nightfall strike, both my teammates got Exotics :<).

Every other piece came from marks, coins, and rep rewards.

In 30+ legendary engrams and who knows how many blues not one single usable legendary has dropped for me.

So. Downside. That sucks ass!

Upside. I'm level 28 and have plenty of gear anyway, so fuck it. You can't keep me down Dicktarch!

I have not done the Raid yet, looking forward to attempting it with some gaf bros.

So, it looks like they hot-fixed the speed at which you enter Orbit and vehicles. Pretty cool I just wish the Sparrow would stay around longer when you get off of it to pick up minerals etc.
