Yes. Just be very careful you don't zone out and accidentally accept one because it pops up every time you go there. Don't zone out and delete it either!

I certainly hope so. I won a few rounds of rumble earlier with it equipped, but the amount of times I had to reload mid fight was stupid. I feel like it'll be pretty decent once I get the stability perk, but till then this is the worst gun imaginable. It's like playing pvp on hard mode, which is interesting in itself.

It's also pretty stupid that the gun is less effective at range than most auto-rifles due to the recoil, so it's effectively a gimped close range weapon...
 
Got a bunch of Hunter legends and Exotics drop on my Titan, so decide to make an alt.

Running Earth missions now if any new players need a mission partner.

Just hit level 20 on my Titan about an hour ago. Need to read a guide on what to do next as I didn't find it all that clear. All I know is I need gear with a light level. Played about an hour of pvp hoping for a legendary reward but no dice.

Might get my hunter who is currently 17 to 20 first whilst i figure out how it all works.
 
Jealous of you guys getting purple wngrams., even I'd you don't get shit for them. I'm stuck at level 22 and haven't seen a single purple drop.

I'm level 26 and still using a level 16 auto rifle as i prefer the rate of fire and clip size to even the legendary ar i found. it's a bit of a pea shooter, but it feels like it stunns some strike bosses a little allowing teammates to do the real damage.
 
ok so maybe someone can help me out and give me some advice. like many of you i have been pretty much playing every day since the game came out nonstop (i pretty much have no life lol T_T ) so anyway ya my hunter which is my main is lvl 26 just from the couple purple and blue armor pieces that i have, i have no exotics yet. So i went to xur today and spent my motes of lite on the body engram and ends up got a exotic for warlock which i haven't even made one yet :/ So he has the ghallajorn or however its spelled and my friend has it and he said its amazing. So now heres what i need help with. i just have exactly enough to buy that, and im pretty busy next week so dont know if ill be able to play as much to get a bunch of coins back or even if i do if ill get as many. So idk if i should just buy that so i have an exotic for my hunter, or wait and see what he has next weekend. bc the hunter chest that hes selling right now i dont like. so i wasn't sure if it was worth waiting till next week to see what he has bc im trying to get more light so i can lvl up. So i just not sure what to do, ive been having the shittiest luck in this game. only gotten like 4 legendary engrams so far total, havnt gotten any of the exotic bounties and ive been doing all the bounties everyday. So ya im just not sure what i should do, and even if i dont get exotic armor idk if its more worthwhile to wait till he has a primary exotic weapon or secondary that id use much more than a heavy weapon? so if anyone can give me some advice on what i should do or better ways to get items (other than ive just been farming in that sweet vex/fallen spot on venus but like i said have been getting shit drops) i would really appreciate the help :)

Man, the Cryptarch was a jerk to me last night! I bought the exotic chest engram and it got turned into a chest for hunter (im a titan) and then i handed inn a total of 11 legendaries engrams during the evening (leveling the cryptarch 3 times etc) and i got NO legendaries.

But on the positive side i almost have enough motes of lights again to try for the chest a second time!

I'm a level 26 hunter as well and I didn't bother with the chest piece. I really do want the launcher, but like you I likely won't have time to make the strange coins back. I'm waiting until next week. If you won't have the time to play and you don't care about the launcher, then why not wait. You won't be playing anyway.

In the meantime, grind faction rep and marks for legendary gear

I'd ignore the rocket launcher if you really want an exotic primary. It's nice but if you're rarely going to use it it would be a waste.

Ah okay. I was in the middle of doing the one for the pulse rifle when another one popped up so I accepted it since I wasn't sure if it would go away or not.
 
Damn getting Vanguard rank 2 takes forever, really looking forward to buying the Wooflock gear from Ikora though. Looks dope and I have the marks to do so.
 
So let me get this straight..

If you join a faction any and all rep you gain will go towards that faction, whether it's Vanguard rep or Crucible rep?

Doesn't that make buying legendary gear from a faction MUCH easier since you can do Crucible and Vanguard bounties to get rep?

I was stupid you see, I bought the New Monarchy bond and had that on since launch not realizing I wouldn't be getting V points :( so now I am behind.

I do love to do Tiger Strikes though so 25 rep a pop is ok. Just taking a while.

Think I have 200 V Marks.

It makes leveling their rep potentially easier depending on the modes you prefer, really it just gives you more options.

You still need marks to buy the pieces.
 
Tried vault of glass....holy shit, that is its own thing entirely! Almost made it past the first boss but one of our guys kept randomly going AFK. I do like how the boss fights here are set up though, makes it A LOT more interesting which I like a lot.

thanks, and ya the current one is ok, just not really the playstyle that i do on my hunter so i wanted to wait see what else he might have. and i might have enough coins next week but my luck in this game has been really bad and have gotten pretty much all crap so thats why im not sure how many coins ill have. and ive been grinding for faction rep and i have legendary gear already thats how im lvl 26. and i would use the launcher if i had it of course, just mean you dont always wanna waste the ammo since you dont get as much so id rather have an exotic primary or secondary, but dont know to much about the exotic weapons the launcher may be better and more worthwhile than the others. it certainly seems pretty damn good from what ive heard. so idk thats why i was asking for help lol.

well i will be playing, just im a lot busier at work next week so i prob wont be playing as much, and i havnt had the best of luck with drops so i dont know if ill make as many coins back or not. and i do really like the launcher and it seems cool and like i said if i have it id use it, just dont know if the other exotic weapons are better and more worthwhile to get or if i should wait to get exotic armor to lvl up past 26 so i can do nightfall and the raid easier and other stuff, so thats why i wasnt sure and was asking for help lol :/

I heard you need to turn in all completed bounties at once instead of one by one to receive the exotic bounty.

I had been turning them in one by one to level up individual weapons and gear all this time.
