Not a fan of that instant turn speed. People trying this for the first time are not going to be getting the true experience of the original playing with that and analog controls.

I will buy it, because REmake is one of my favorite games. The atmosphere is superb.

I don't know if it's because i'm watching this from my phone, but there are crashed blacks everywhere it's almost unwatchable :S

Wow, the all-directional movement animation is super jank. It literally looks like frames are dropped in the animation whenever you go a different direction. Anyone else seeing what I mean? It's not smooth at all.
Where in the video is it?

Of course. Me too. But it's good Capcom offers 4:3 and Classic Tank Controls. The way the game was meant to be played.
One question remains: What about different Resolutions and Anti-Aliasing in the PC Version?. 1080p is not going to last long. But it's Capcom ... looking at the Dead Rising 3 Port I sadly know the answer =(
Ok is it just me or did I see some camera panning in some parts of the game? Wasn't the game supposed to have only fixed camera angles?
Oh god that was so dark ..
not in the biblical sense .. the video was too dark.
this is even darker than the code : veronica HD version.
PS3 or PS4 version?
I watched the whole video.... pretty decent![]()

It says PS4 version, when he changes the screen from 16:9 to 4:3 and then back again.
I started playing RE2 yesterday (hadn't played an old RE since playing REmake on Dolphin a couple of few years ago) and it took me a minute to adjust to the controls and it made me wish for a control option like this, but after I adjusted it felt natural again and honestly this is the way these games should be played.
That being said, it's easy for someone who played these games for hundreds of hours to adjust quickly, but for people who are only used to modern games it might be really off-putting and not worth the effort to adjust. There's no way around the fact that it's clunky and unintuitive, having options is always good but the animation feels half-assed with this control scheme.

I don't get what's the problem with the 16:9 method, it looks great in the video, why would someone change it to 4:3 with big ass black bars?

It was a joke. Not very fair comparison. You know it.
Why? It's listed, they'll accept your money soon enough.Makes me uneasy not seeing the pre-order on Steam.
Goddamn, i want to pre-order it.

I wouldn't have joined that plague ARG if I knew it'd help bring those lame costumes as their prize.
I think they have a point, the door animation might be annoying when you are on your second-third playthrough but for a first time player it's really part of the experience and adds tension, maybe they should give an option to remove it after you beat it for the first time but for new players its a vital part of the experience and presentation of the game.Another thing about the presentation I forgot to mention. As is obvious from the video, door animations are still there, but the people doing the presentation talked pretty positively about them and said stuff like "Door animations makes you excited about what's on the other side!"
In other words, it doesn't really seem they'll be skippable. At least, it's something I'd expect them to mention during this. So yeah, that might be one of the first things I'll try to "fix" when PC version is out.
Wait, what, really? Where was this? Link me.However, someone posted a chat they had with a Capcom USA employee some days where they strongly implied the steamworks version WILL get GE content.
