Resident Evil 9 Requiem confirmed for Switch 2

So, just keep telling us it's ugly, it's half the frames, it's horrible, it shouldn't exist, yada yada yada, and then watch the sales and realize you've just been wasting your time.
you really are the dumbest fucking person on this planet if you think sales = quality

are you that fucking dense? ignored, bye bitch

Yeah... Why not port older games instead that can achieve 1080p@60fps ? Would be much better than this blurry mess. This is Switch 1 all over again.
I don't understand the logic of this post. I doesn't run the way a few people on the internet say it should, so it's better off not happening at all.

That's what I'm getting here.

I am saying what I would prefer, as everyone on a forum. I'd rather play older games at 1080p60 than recent games sub720sub30.

PS360U generation.

Switch 2 will be PS4One generation.

So what you want is Switch 2 patches for the RE games that are already on the platform? Because all the mainline games pre-7 have been available on the OG Switch for a while.
That would be cool. It would be a better experience than that blurry mess. Just like Doom 3 is a better experience than 2016 and Eternal on Switch 1.

Already moving the goal post? 🤣 Yo have failed in all your Switch 2 predictions… Take a rest dude 😂.
Are you dumb ? I am giving you an example of a game that looks great (pretty high res, close to 1080) and runs at 60fps vs another one that runs low res and low framerate.

This kinda feels like PlayStation's revenge for the OG RE4, lol.
It looks like a good effort for the S2, but the difference is clear. The really interesting comparison will be S2 vs SD.

Did Switch 1 get Resident Evil 7 like PS4 and Xbone?

Switch 2 is getting way more parity when it comes to PS5/XboxSeries games than Switch 1 did with PS4/Xbone.

Digging into the comparisons made me instead realize how ugly the character models look (in all versions).

What is this goblin looking creatura?

Did I miss something ? Is Switch 2 getting all PS5Series only third party games ? It seems to me that for now the console is getting games that also released on PS4, and the few ones that are PS5Series only look awful. So basically the same situation as Switch 1.

Why the heck is Capcom dropping 7 and 8 the same day as 9? Why not earlier?

Surely they have to realize Switch 2 owners will just buy 9 and wait for 7/8 to be on deep discount, right?

It's all subjective, of course, but Madden and Outlaws look great on Switch 2.

Switch never got a native port of current gen Resident Evil, while Switch 2 is getting current gen Resident Evil day 1.

So no that's not the same situation at all.

The only games I know of that don't have a PS4 counter part are FFVII Integrade and Star Wars Outlaws. The former we'll need to wait and see the Yuffie parts since those aren't on PS4. The latter looks pretty good. Recently got a graphics patch that fixed the pixelated hair, fixed pop-in issues and fixed the lighting as well as uses RTGI for lighting, shadows and reflections. Runs at a solid 30fps. If you're going to ask about the guy from GVG who said the game was running badly, he apologized for the video as he played an early build. It's why some people in this thread are saying they'll wait until they see the final build of the game.

Hope thatJohann thatJohann doesn't mind I borrow a screenshot

It'll be interesting to see whether it'll retain the RT effects of the other versions at half the framerate or it'll be a raster only version (like the rumored PS4 version) at maybe 60fps.

RE Village has been a pleasant surprise lately, its different because of the lycan enemies but it really works. Its one of the scariest REs Ive played in a long while :messenger_grinning_sweat: the sound effects of multiple lycans crawling around in the area and eyes glowing white in the dark god damn.

Looks pretty damn good. Will I be playing it on Switch 2? Nope. But it at least looks like a good version of the game.

I assume RE2 and RE3 remakes come eventually, I wouldn't mind replaying RE2 Remake in bed late at night.
