Why does the flame shield on a warlock have a timer in the lower left corner when active, but a titan's shield buff has no timer to tell you when it's going to run out?

Why does one but not the other have a timer? they both do the same thing.

This game feels unfinished in places.

I was actually brainstorming a decent way to handle this, especially since the main source of money here is basically pointless due to so many various alternatives(marks, motes, strange coins) that are used instead.

I would have made a merchant that can sell these materials, but at a somewhat ripoff price. Then I would have another group that can actually go to the planets for you and get some, with various "risk" levels, the highest being most expensive and having the highest material payout. At some point if the risk triggers, it would function as an on the fly mission where a huge firefight would be happening and you would have to save them. If you ignored it, you may have paid for an expedition that never comes back and gives you nothing, or there is still a chance they make it. Maybe even have it so you can send a gun or something that you don't need anymore to drastically improve their survival if you ignore it, or additional glimmer on bodyguards.

That's just a super rough concept off the top of my head, but it's crazy that there's no alternative to straight up farming these materials. Obviously that is not everyone's cup of tea, but they can't do anything about it. Atleast the above has some potential for emergent gameplay, or can be ignored entirely(at a higher cost to feel more fair).

That sounds like a brilliant concept, it would give me a reason to actually spend my money, even at rip off prices, since glimmer is easy to come by anyway, even without farming for it.

I just don't understand why Bungie allows us to trade materials for glimmer, marks, rep etc, but we can't do the opposite and buy the materials. It makes absolutely no sense.

Just got the Comedian....Hahahahahaha

Oh man, I've had it a while. It's amazing.

The quick aim perk plus the tighter spread on aim makes it a mid range beast. The extra slide length really helps with close range put downs too.

Enjoy it! :3

Yeah I actually got this out of an engram not long ago. I hope it has as good of a sense of humor as it claims when I dismantle it.

Ur crazy m8.

This sounds fucking amazing. It's killing me that Mass Effect doesn't have something similar though; it'd be such a perfect fit for that kind of game. You should get money for this idea. I want to play this.

I've had people manage to kill me in one shot halfway across a room with the comedian before. No way I'd dismantle it if I got one lol.

Why do you hate it? You on ps4? Could play some matches with you, it's more fun on a team.

Well I guess its cause I suck and die most of the time haha.
I liked the COD multiplayer, there I at least had some really good matches with a lot of kills.I am having a hard time so far in PVP in Destiny and I kind of dont like the controls as much as I do in COD.

Sure we can team up and play next time I am online. Will send PM

Fuck this Bad Juju bounty. Fuck it straight to hell

Why? it's super easy.

Run the Moon Strike at lvl 12 25 times. Each run takes between 7-9 minutes depending on how good your team is. Everyone who will run with you is also high level doing the same thing.

Then just play Rumble in PvP. Warlocks give you more points but apart from that it's 25 points per kill. I am at over 7000 after like 10 rounds of PvP.

Just go to explore on mars, follow the path around to the first big(ish) base, and run through all the buildings and tunnels for chests, can get 50 in around an hour.

pretty easy just look for chests

Do a patrol on Mars, go staight to the right where you see a fight between the Cabal and Vex, also will be 2 outposts and some caves. Loads of Relic Iron spawns there. Keep running around in circles from base to base.

Thanks folks!

I suck at finding chests because I can't seem to remember the maps but I know there's a way because they respawn....will use YouTube to find these places.

I was doing pretty bad my first few matches as well, but came back at a higher level with better weapons and armor and now it feels leveled out. I am either middle of the pack or top scorer. I too am used to other fps like bf4, it definitely takes some getting used to. Once you get a hang of the movement and shooting mechanics it's fun.

I can't decide if I should buy the legendary legs from the Vanguard Quatermaster today, or wait until next week to get the Shadow Price auto file. My current weapon is a lvl 20 Auto Rifle fully upgraded and I'm on the last stage of the Thorn bounty so I will be getting that soon(ish). I assume buying the leg armor for stats/def would have a more noticeable impact than a legendary rifle?

Yeah I guess the ranking system was messed up as I joined my brothers fireteam who was lvl 18 and I was lvl 2...had just started playing the game... I am lvl 23 now almost lvl24 and got a few good weapons etc so I will try it again.

I need more friends that play Destiny on PS4 more consistently. I am a lvl 25 warlock, looking for any one that plays often and would like to join me during strikes, raids, and as much crucible as it takes to buy equipment... PSN is Shaim13. Feel free to add me.

I am also in the EST, and play mostly after 5 pm.

Dang ya'll. I go on one little business trip and you guys not only have a new OT when I get back, but are already 3k posts in!

When I got home last night, I played some crucible, attempted (and failed twice) to solo Legendary Phogoth, and got to lev25.

So I never "hit the wall" at 24 really. I just had to level up a couple blues and it was over.
Now I just need a bunch of Ascendant Shards.
