The only legendary I got from an engram was my chest. Out of 9 legendary engrams, 8 of them decrypted into blues or motes/coins. By this point I've stopped caring (though I really wish my legendary class item had decrypted as purple instead of blue) because I'm full legendaries and exotics at light 27 anyway.

Seriously, ignore engram farming, and farm vanguard marks instead. Or crucible if you prefer. I hate PVP, so all I've done is farm 100 Vanguard marks twice (once each week) and along with the legendary weapon I got for hitting Vanguard rank 3 I've hit full purple armour (plus an exotic helm from Xur).

Okay, I gotta say, the bounty for that exotic handcannon where you have to deal void damage 500 times or something and the count goes down with each kill, and it HAS to be in the crucible, is bullshit.

Sometimes you're just unfortunately placed with a team of pros that just kick ass and you barely have a chance, and you're just forced to see your bounty score go all the way back to zero. I got it up to 76/500 today, but I don't have much motivation to continue because half the matches take my score back :/

I had very little luck with any other grenades than the one that OHK when you stick it to them. Most of the players I'm going up against seem to be pretty able to get out of range of the other grenades.

If you do patrols with friends it flies by pretty quick.

If you find yourself losing in the Crucible, what's to stop you from just leaving the damn Match? I don't think that degrades progress. And it's 1 kill= 5 points, 1 death= -2 points, so the backwards progression is not nightmarish

Just got there from upgrading the defence on my Exotic helmet from Xur. Any advice on getting more ascendent shards? I'm overflowing with the planet materials like helium and spinmetal. Those shards are tough to find tho.

Also I got the exotic machine gun from the E3 2013 reveal!

A lot of people, but it's kind of pointless to be frustrated by randomness.
