How do you usually get your coins? I still only have 11, total, ever
Also level 25 warlock up for the weekly once I'm off work. Tried to solo it and got smashed (lvl 26 difficulty).

Good fortune to be honest. I usually get them a lot from blue engrams and occasionally PvP. At this point my total's 28 coins.

Proper annoying man. I've had 10 so far and all became Rare yet a Rare leg engram I got became a Legendary weapon.
I think my team and I got to the last boss in the Raid last night. That raid is really good and made me like Destiny even more, hopefully we'll finish tonight.
Some folks did get some exotic weapon drops, but not me lol. I did get a bunch of ascendant energy/shards so I fully upgraded my sun gauntlets on my Warlock. I'm so hoping for an exotic drop tonight though.

Took me a lot of getting used to (I love the double jump in this game dearly) but I now prefer it, even in PvE. I still click over to high jump for complex platforming (there's a lot on Venus), but in general, Blink is like one of my favorite things you can do as a basic skill in a videogame ever. actually, I feel that way about a lot of bladedancer abilities. <3

For a Hunter, is it better to have a triple jump or a precision control double jump?

I prefer the precision control jump, personally. I was so disappointed by the triple jump. I didn't realize I'd lose the precision perk. :-(
Triple jump is WORTHLESS. So disappointing. Stick with either the precision or high jump double.
...yes. You're almost exactly on the money. I think it's closer to 65%.

That made me laugh like a maniac.
All of the hunter's jumping abilities are useful depending on the situation. Find the one that fits your playstyle and use that.
The only way for me to do the jumping puzzle skip after the Gorgons in VoG is with triple jump. =P
Had a question of my own...
Has anyone used http://destinypublicevents.com/ ? I tried it out earlier today and didn't run into a single event after a hour.
Tried blink for all of 30 seconds... instantly back to glide. I can see it being useful in PvP, but for PvE no sir.

1) I'm fairly close to a legendary chest piece, once I get my faction level up to 2 for FWC I will be able to buy the chest piece I want, then I am also a bit away from level 2 vanguard to get the boots I want, and lastly I will be starting soon my goal to get Dead Orbit to level 2 to buy their gauntlets (going for the benefits) [Going to hopefully buy the Mask of the Third Man from Xur one week]
2) I was debating on getting the Dead Zone cape but now I saw the cape that drops in the raid and I think I rather go for that. . I just don't know when I will have time to form a team for raid (do people on those firesquad site do raids set ups?)
3) I'm solely focus on my Hunter right now
No, triple jump is never useful in any situation. I promise I checked them all out. If you need height, high jump gets you higher than the timed apex of the third jump. If you need precision, precision jump gets you higher than the second jump of triple jump, with obviously better midair control.
It works. however there are a few things to keep in mind.
The countdown is to a "window" of 5 minutes or so. So don't abandon an area if the event doesn't immediately pop. Also, some events spawn more frequently than others. Sometimes one just won't happen at all in their window whereas others occur seemingly every time.
oh, well okay, I don't know much about jumping inside the Vault yet, let alone any skips. so I stand corrected

Doing the first toland's bounty? I don't know why but I cleared it while doing a normal strike on the playlist. Anyone encounter the same thing?
I am to the point where the only way I can progress my light level is from shards, and public events seem like a more efficient use of time then pugging VoG for materials.
Blink is amazing in PvE. Enemies are terrible at tracking you post-blink.

Yeah that's what I'm doing. I guess that would work, if you can change the difficulty, otherwise maybe it was bugged.

Sure, give the Legendary to the guy who arrived at the last second while we spent the whole game at 4 vs 6. Nice.
I'm 25 too, we tried doing that method earlier on lvl 22 and wizards and knights kept spawning over and over again by that room, so that didn't work very well
Hmmm. First off, I have seen plenty of raid groups forming on the LFG site.
tough call other than that. If there's not something you're dying to get from the Speaker, remember it's a 1 in 3 shot, and just search your feelings for the answer. We don't know what kind of pieces Xur will have in that slot each week, so if you are about to buy a legendary chest you might be glad you saved your motes.

I plan on playing all 3 characters eventually, and while getting a piece of gear that isn't a Titan currently is disappointing, it also makes it more enticing to start new characters because I'll know I have a bunch of great armor pieces waiting for me as soon as I hit 20. To dismantle a Legendary for just 2 shards doesn't seem as important, when you can get those 2 shards in a day of playing whereas a Legendary can be elusive for multiple days.
Thoughts?

Definitely bugged. I couldn't find someone to do the Weekly with so I just played a random strike. Needless to say, I was confused as hell when it popped. I'm not complaining though. I now have the juju in my hands.

Well, I'm pretty sure you lose out on the rewards of the higher tiers if you do any of the lower ones. So I can't help, sorry.
22 would make me short one coin.

Yup. It takes a LOT of getting used to especially since the high double jump is so damn good. The "Blink removes stealth" is the roughest part for me and I still forget about it sometimes, but it's necessary to keep it from being too cheesy in pvp. Overall though, when you get used to gauging distances and the differences when using it from differnt points in your jumps, it is fantastic. You can do wild things that nothing else offers (okay, except titan smash), like actually reach the ground faster from a great height with no damage. Both double jumps are excellent too, though. Nothing wrong with any of them as choices.

Do I get coins if I've already done it on level 22?
Afaik, you can go 22 -> 26 -> 28 for 3 coins each or jump straight to 28 for 9 coins.

Blink is great but blink and you'll miss seeing it happening
The one i am talking about is on the far right. Though I am going to assume we are talking about the same spot since left doesn't make sense. Maybe I need to reassess where i am jumping from because higher double jump doesn't get me there.
