Wait vanguard marks clear weekly ? im going to be screwed , i dont have enough time every week to keep saving in order to hopefully buy a weapon before it resets ?

I finally did a little cave farming and in the space of 15 mins i had 2 of those events where tons of enemies stream in from every direction . was awesome fun, i wonder if bungie are doing it to try and deter cave campers. Either way it was awesome, really hope alot more random things occur
 
Looking for three more people for a PS4 raid group. We're not aiming to finish, just to get as far as we're comfortable doing in a decent amount of time, since even the first chest is pretty good.

Check the Cryptarch since he usually has a class item available to decrypt, or buy something from the Speaker if you've got the Motes of Light to spend.
 
Got the Universal Remote as my first Exotic (came from a legendary sniper engram) but oddly enough it uses the Primary weapon slots and I think the stats are kinda garbage. Anyone else have any experience with this weapon?

I seem to have terrible luck with Primary weapons, got a crummy scout rifle as my Rank 3 FWC weapon too...

It does have some pretty noteworthy upgrades. The only problem is to balance out the damage furthers the inherent recoil issues with the gun. (it fires like a full auto) I still have mine kicking around though since I'm hoping it will get better when upgraded, but as my first exotic weapon I was surprised by how much it knocked my TTK up.

Try it out, scout rifles are pretty beastly.

My first legendary item was one and I wasn't happy, now I love it.

Lemme tell you about Universal Remote. You sit on a couch. THE FUCKING BALL GAME IS ON. You grab that Universal Remote to switch the channel AND YOU ACCIDENTALLY SHOOT THE TELEVISION.

Let me tell you about that Universal Remote. There's a reason it's in a primary slot. Because otherwise all the shotguns would be jealous and would never drop for you. So they have to coexist together, because once you get that Remote, it's the ball game all day every day.

YOU DON'T NEED A TV ANYMORE. Do you see that spot of land? You can shoot that. That's right, the Universal Remote gets insane range once you level up it's unique perks. Do you see that mountain? You can shoot it.

"But Breezy, how will I play the game now that my tele-"

I don't know. All I know is that you now have a Shotgun that is practically a sniper rifle. I guess you can play from your neighbors TV or something. I dunno. I'm just advertising that damn gun here.

Don't worry, you keep all of the vanguard marks you've earned.

The thing is you can only get 100 a week, and every Tuesday that cap gets reset. You keep all of the marks you've earned, but if you had received your weekly allowance of 100 already you can then start accumulating marks again. No one loses any marks.

I'm hoping that the stability upgrade down the line fixes the problem. Gun is trash as is.

Super challenging. A lot of fun though. Showing off our white shader in the tower now lol

Edit: Oh yea. My reward was the Scout Rifle that deals solar damage... Which is exactly what I wanted :P

btw where does it list how much Crucible reputation I need to level up?

Same for my faction I choose. Where do I see it ingame or on bungie.net site?

That's the catch though, you have to choose between that or the armor piercing rounds which is the only way to compensate for that awful impact. To be honest I was so let down by the gun I decided to level up my vanguard rank and buy one, which proved to be a much better weapon off the bat.

float over the symbol (the big one on the Left) at either of the Clerks.
Alternately every time you get some you can see the current progress to next rank percentage
 
Shit Xur is still there and I need 3 more coins for my first exotic (don't have legendary either). Anyone willing to help me do the 26 weekly heroic? I'm only 23 so I wouldn't be much help.... Please please please

So Devs should design their games not based on what's good for their own games.. but on a guess about what other games their players might also want to play eventually..?

Totally hid in that room like a punk and whittled him down but whatever.

Just one more coin for the helm.

Anyone want to attempt the lv26??

Or should I just do some vanguard strike list till I get one... Hmm

I'd do it but I tried doing it the other day and it's so brutal, just because the wizards are sooo dang annoying.
