You can do it whenever you want. Chests and bosses won't drop anything though until the reset.
i play hunter, so there is no git gud, its absolute trash setup that makes the rich get richer. No thanks.

Tonight was a good night, got my last mote, turned it in. Didn't really care what chest I got, got the best one possible for me

Tried the heroic strike on the moon for the first time since our fireteam finally made 22nd level all around. OK, heroic skull means more enemies being more aggressive, and the angry skull means they won't flinch from taking damage - OK, seems do-able, sure. We know the mission, we know how to work as a team and we know our weapons.
But hell no.
Not only is it more enemies, its a lot more hallowed enemies with a fuckton of health each. Enemy fire rates and splash are heightened so wizards literally fill the screen with fully automatic death blasts while knights fire little super splash cruise missiles at a very steady clip. Wizard's shields replenish in moments and knights go into their wall-heals at the first sign of real damage. There's also no revive timer when players die so you have to be a heroic medic if you're the last guardian standing.
We didn't make it past the first hold-your-ground area on our way to Phogoth.
So, that's cool, being difficult and all, but I really don't see how in the world that's a level 22 challenge. Unless we're supposed to have super gear somehow. We have all rares and light gear and try to pick the right damage types for the enemies we face - but man, even using solar/fire against hallowed wizards doesn't cut it. Not against several of them.

No, they save to everyone who plays the raid. I was never the fireteam leader but I can still start from the final boss of the raid.
A wild Lukems appears.
Just got a bunch of shards & some boots for about 7 hours, lol. Damn, it was fucking awesome though.

I hope I can do the raid this week sometime. Struggled earlier today because of reasons.
That last boss is a real son of a bitch, we had him to <15% multiple times but he would always enrage, lol.
Shit was crazy fun though, I never thought I'd see coordination on this level required in a FPS encounter.

And they have to add insult to injury by constantly making a third of the available bounties exclusive to salvage mode.
That was our first time in, it won't take no where near that on the next attempts. You can always do one boss at a time too, no need to power through it all in one night.

again, i wasn't disagreeing with the sentiment, but "no tools to take them down properly" is incorrect. at least, that was their whole philosophy when omitting things like boarding and passenger craft

sniping is great on Bastion, and I'm not talking about sitting in a corner of the map waiting for people to walk into your sights. I can be up in the action and I don't have to worry about someone sliding into me with a shotgun for a change.
Yeah, if we had done the last boss the first time as well as we did on the successful attempt, it would have cut down on that time by 4+ hours.
Really impressed with the coordination requirements. Playing it really puts the decision not to have matchmaking in its proper context.

Any opinions out there on the Grim Citizen 3 legendary auto rifle? I have it, its not fully upgraded yet but I'm not sure I like it. I play Control and Vanguard Strikes, is this a good weapon for either, but especially PVP?
I ask because I'm back from a ten year hiatus from FPS games, I'm not sure if my problem is the fact that I'm rubbish or the weapon leaves a little to be desired!

I regret not going with my first gut feeling to get boots and arms first.

Yo fuck this. Doing the raid, and at the gorgon maze at the secret chest cave all of my teammates got legendary class items and I get ascendant shards.
They get badass items and I get fucking shards.
I even watched a video guide of the raid and everyone in the video got badass legendary class items at that part as well..... And I get shards.
