I would love to raid with you so much, but until Bungie fixes there netcode for the people that get flies and bees and all those network errors, it doesn't make much sense for me to even try it. Those random kicks from the server are so demotivating and annoying.

I tried everything Bungie suggested to do, even contacted my ISP and tried different routers and nothing solved those errors. Now I have to wait for Bungie to do something about their netcode.

Don't know about you but I always keep buying weapons from the Exo dealer and Engrams from Rahool to get cheap stuff to trash for materials. Crypt ranks level up pretty fast doing so and the gifts he gives you are pretty sweet.
Having a good amount of ammo reserves also doesn't hurt, especially if you have to switch weapons during a strike and you need a full cartridge for your beast of a void shotgun.

Or maybe some of us you asked said we'd be happy to help but raid isn't our priority at that exact moment in time?

If I were going to organise it I'd set a time for later on, then post on the forums and message people. Give them time to get ready and a set time and place to be.

I wouldn't just throw out a bunch of random invites then complain when people didn't join. :p
 
Got a legendary scout rifle but ugh, it has the slowest fire rate I've ever seen in a scout rifle. Ugh, so fucken close to paradise....

One of his first points is the game doesn't have an end. I couldn't take him seriously after that. He also went on to complain about RNG loot.

I could only stand to listen to about 5 minutes of his rant, but I'm gathering that he has probably never played a loot game before and is mad this game isn't Halo.

I was in the same boat and got my 13 strange and my exotic helm and also hit 2k with FWC and now I'm raid ready.

Nothing good from legendary engrams tho

I'm eyeing up the Vanquisher from New Monarchy... It's pretty much like a Galahad E, but the stability is really high. Plus extra damage from bottom half of mag. Shame I need 80 more marks once the weekly cap resets :(

Say did you manage to do the nightfall last night?

Why come into a thread full of people who are obviously enjoying the game and start ranting that the game "blows dicks"?

I'm up for discussing the game's flaws, but let's try to be cool about it.

The final level and "ending" are anti-climactic as hell.
You fight a floating black pudding who summons the same three bosses. After you win, the Exo stranger gives you a rifle and tells you to essentially keep playing the game.

I'm no fan of Angry Joe but he's not wrong about the game "not having an ending", so to speak.

What? Ive been in this thread. Im lvl 24 and I've been enjoying parts of the game. But it really is a pretty bad game. The only good thibg about is the actual gunplay and the worlds.

Darklord watch the actual video.

I can understand if people enjoy the game but really watch the video, he makes a ton of great points that no fan of Destiny can ignore or claim that those points are untrue.

A caterpillar shut down the servers.

More seriously, they use animals and fruits and stuff for error codes. More memorable than random strings of numbers. That said, it'd probably just tell you that's a generic connection issue.

Luckily, I've not had many problems since release. I've probably lost connection or been kicked from a team fewer than 5 times which is a huge improvement over the alpha and beta lol.

Everyone hear is aware the game has shortcomings and is not a 10/10. At the same time tone of people are still having fun and enjoying the game. You're just being obtuse and aggressive in here, you should just back out now.

Two things:

1. Yes they can.
2. Some people don't put the same weight to things as others.

When you realise the above you'll start getting along with people a lot better.
 
My Warlock at the moment, slowly getting there, picked up the Exotic gloves at the weekend and also found what seems to be a nice shotgun

I'm not being obtuse. I'm not agressive. I want Bungie to step up and acknowledge these flaws and explain what happened or make a damn update to patch some of these features. I want the game to stay relevant as I enjoy playing it. But sticking our heads in the sands and having "faith" in bungie has only led to a broken,deeply flawed but fun game.

How some people can just say nah AJ is an imbicile and his points hold no weight than wtf??? Where is your logical thinking and looking critically at something you've spent 60 bucks on?

Or is this thread supposed to be a circle jerk of the game?

If Bungie are not made aware of hhw badly they failed in some spots they wont improve jack shit.

I'm not going to apologize for the poster calling people imbeciles but an OT should not be a hugbox for a game. Destiny has some major flaws whether you like it or not. It warrants discussion regardless of it's an OT, Review thread etc.
 
Hey guys quick question:

- So I have 60 vanguard marks and rank 1 vanguard, also 12 strange coins I can only play a few hours 2-3 today and none tomorrow, what would be my best chance of getting to rank 2 vanguard before the reset on tuesday and use my marks to buy a purple from the vanguard vendor and where could I get a last strange coin to buy the exotic chest?

Any ideas would be appreciated

See the thing is: I don't need to watch the video.
Why would I watch the video? What is the point? I know the problems the game has for myself. I know what problems I have with it and what works for me.

Why do I need to give some guy views on his video to hear him talk about his opinions on something I already have my opinion on? It makes no sense. There is no reason for me to watch it after having spent 2 days played with this game and having an amazing two weeks since it came out.
I am not suddenly going to go "oh man he showed me the light this game is so terrible all of a sudden"

The whole group/clan system on bungie net seems like a giant clusterfuck, why can't we communicate with clans in-game?

Seems like this game was made in a bubble, no need to communicate with other people if everyone your playing with is in the same room.

How about instead of useless emotes let me use D-pad to pull up a chat bar or something.
