That's a damn good find for just hitting level 20! Congrats.
RNGesus heard my prayers.

holy moly, got a bunch of cool stuff in one go.
1 legendary weapon
1 exotic weapon called Ice breaker
1 legendary armour.
Now the weapon, it says Please replace these components of use causes fatal damage: heat sink. Magazine. operator.
How to I replace those?
Not bad.
om nom nom.Not bad.
I think the exotic auto rifles have similar stats as far as the ROF/impact/stability as the shingen. I was wondering the same thing, though I'll probably go with the New Monarchy auto rifle for now once the reset hits since I've been rocking a blue one for the past 7 character levels...
well the "operator" is you, so think on that one a while.holy moly, got a bunch of cool stuff in one go.

That seems massive.only offer a 20% damage improvement when maxxed out.
I think I'm going to stick to my blue Galahad-E for PVE for the foreseeable future, until I luck out with an exotic I guess. Purple weapons just aren't that great, and only offer a 20% damage improvement when maxxed out.
here you areSo I'm confused. Can someone help me out?
What do after lv 20?
What are these factions and what's their purpose? (FWC, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy) and should my friends and I choose the same faction?
How do I obtain the important currencies for crucible weapons, exotic weapons, high level vendors, etc.?
I have that gun too, it's a PVE beast.

I'm under the impression that the did the stupid loot chance thing because the selection of weapons for the higher classes is not as extensive as they had originally envisioned.

Not that I know of. It's either one of two things: one, the game was rushed out the door, no time for a map, or two, some silly explanation about wanting players to explore their environments organically.
Not one. He starts the thing with a factually incorrect statement about the budget, too.
Is it wrong for me to immediately quit a control match everytime my whole damn team heads for one control zone instead of splitting off and heading to B?

This is incomplete information because Faction gear requires Crucible Marks to purchase, which are earned primarily in PvP. What you said is true if someone is regularly earning Crucible marks through their play habits. Vanguard gear purchased through Vanguard marks is otherwise the most reliable way.The purpose of Factions is to level them up and buy legendary gear. Browse the gear of each faction and decide which one suits your playstyle the best. Then equip their class item on your guardian and you will start earning reputaion toward that faction just by playing the game. When you reach level 2/3 with that faction you can then use your marks to buy their gear.
Leveling factions, earning marks and buying their legendaries with those marks is the most reliable way to get legendary gear in the game.
... yes.
You really shouldn't care though. It's an "objective" mode but kills still matter the most. Just run around and kill people.

Would Faction rep be useful for me even though I barely play PVP?
What was wrong about it? The General Manager for Activision UK & Ireland already confirmed that figure was true, but includes development, manufacturing, marketing etc
Yeah, I just don't understand the thinking here.
Could you imagine defeating a raid boss in WoW and a purple tier token drops for your class, you rush back to the gear vendor and exchange it... for a blue tier item? It makes absolutely ZERO sense.
Why bother colouring them at all? Just have a generic white engram that allows for a chance of rare or legendary gear.
We seem to lose every time I'm on a team that does this though.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Not viable, or OP?
Does it even matter if you win or lose? I don't think they even track wins and losses, so just run around and kill people. It's just some difference in marks really, and you'll waste so much time backing out and backing in it's not worth it.
Anyone else having issues with Destiny not recognizing PS+?
This morning Destiny started telling me that I need PS+, and not letting me do crucible or strikes. I have it with my other account on the system, so it should be working fine. But restarting the game and system and keeping my PS+ account holder logged in isn't fixing it? Same thing happened with my bf's account (on the same system) last night, after everything had been working flawlessly since launch.
DudeSo I've just finished the 'story' and got myself to level 20. I managed to get my first blue engram while doing the level 22 daily mission just now, but I didn't get anything at all for completing the actual mission. That blue engram ended up giving me a green class item. Is this really what Bungie getting at when they said the game started at 20?
It seems like a waste of time trying go further to be honest. It's feels like the game turned into Payday 2 or something.
Finally ended up hitting light level 28 and just got another exotic hand cannon that is super fun to use.

It's the money for their ongoing plan, not the dev budget for the first game like he implies.
