The only "problem" is he keeps running in he cave and screwing up the spawn rate for other farmers. lol

Heh. Yesterday I had someone send me a message to "chill" because farming takes time. I think he was annoyed because of the frequency of my running to the cave. I was using a hand cannon. Clearly he never had or he'd understand I need ammo more often than others.

Anyone up for the weekly at level 26? PSN SuperYlvis (level 27).

I beat it at level 22 and got 3 coins. Will beating it at level 26 give me 6 coins now?

Lost a 3 v 3 by 45 points because a bladedancer went god mode and ate 16 rounds of my MG before slicing me in two.

Their defense, more then any titan can get.

You should get cutscenes for each mission.. In fact, I think it's pretty annoying you can't skip them because I'd like to go back and replay some missions. Probably can't rewatch the ones on the tower though.

I can see not skipping being annoying.
But wanting to replay something to get the experience again shouldn't have to start from zero.

Sometimes I want to rewatch that cut scene.

Oh I think they are OP because they have skills like blink and invis on top of their super. Not their super alone.

Use blink for a while and decide if it's really as amazing as you think lol. It's great, but fuck if I haven't been absolutely obliterated by a fusion rifle or something many times because I used it x.x And virtually everything breaks the cloaking, attacking, blinking etc. And all methods of cloaking involve giving up other useful things. One requires crouching and has a cooldown(and gives up extending the super or recovering health with it), one involves giving up the other super R2s for a cloaking THAT HAS A FREAKING ANIMATION x.x and one involves our melee attack.

Can't interupt super serious slot machine play.

Spend the other ammo, and let it regenerate. No need to make things more cumbersome for everyone else.

My team didn't offer much help. :(

What's up 'what the hell is my team doing' buddy. We lost this one :(

I might be being unfair, but the expansions don't sound like what I'm used to as being expansions, but more like dlc with a bit more content put in them.

I'm using Blizzard's works as a comparison - specifically Brood War, Reaper of Souls, and WoW expansions.

Keep in mind Blizzard Expansions are also $40 at launch. You can buy both of Destiny's first 2 expansions for 35. Combined they will be quite a bit of content

Finally finished my final story mission. The Buried City.

Really can't wait for Parity Day. The Dust Palace is instantly my favorite area. All that incredible design all over the buildings holy shit.

Clovis Bray you're my hero.

No, replay..as in cut scenes and everything.
Just fired up the Reef for the first time and thought it was interesting.

It will be the same thing since it takes you to the map after every mission anyway, and cut scenes are still there, even when you do daily story missions the cut scenes are there, annoyingly so since you can't skip them.

I went Digital Guardian edition so I got both expansions for $30 basically.

If from both expansions in total, we get:

2 strikes
2 raids
8-10 story missions
4+ multiplayer maps
New guns/gear (confirmed)
an adjustment to the current loot system and some PvP balancing.

Then yea, money well spent IMO. And I expect to get all of this.

all the weapons you have equipped level.

No... Only the weapon you get kills with earns xp from kills. All weapons get xp from missions and the like, but not from kills.

Also, anyone who's gonna get upset over someone running in 33% more often than normal is way too serious. Nothing's stopping them from getting another instance or going to the temple or something if they can't handle other people, which is inherent with that farming spot.

Not to mention the fact I had to kill stragglers numerous times because they were jacking around in their inventory.

A titan grenade instantly killed me from full health unless I'm mistaken. I didn't think any grenade could kill immediately.

Also, once again, First Light and Bastion can go fuck themselves along with all the one hit kills

Sticky grenades. All three can kill in one hit if they stick you.

What do first light and bastion have to do with one hit kills? Unless you mean snipers, in which case stay indoors. My most used weapon on First Light is often the fusion rifle. I spend all my time on Bastion inside B or near A, occasionally venturing underground to C. The roads are for chumps. Unless you love vehicles I guess.

just switch to an auto/scout and a machine/RL for the 30 seconds it takes you to interrupt everyone else and problem solved...

Ah, I see. I was surprised I died so fast.

Lol nothing. I just listed all the things that I don't like in PvP. I spawned into a match in progress and was hit my a golden gun in the first 5 seconds.I think I'll switch weapons as I have to when it comes to large maps and maybe camp instead of trying to venture around

That's a bad comparison, just because Destiny is calling thier dlc which is similar to the map pack model of CoD a "expansion" doesn't mean it's anywhere near the same thing as blizzards expansion. I could go into this deeper but i don't even have time to explain why I dont have time to explain.

Crucible is horrible, I'm tired of getting one shot killed by people five levels ahead of me with incredible guns that I don't have access to...

Oh, really?

*looks*

Well, fuck. Hopefully it's not something too bad. I don't know why playstation users are getting exclusive content in DLC. That's really unfair.

Xbox users are getting screwed cause they missed out on dust palace which is a good strike.

It really is :/

I mean I'm on PS4 so I'll receive it, but it's BS we all pay the same price but don't receive all the content. I know it won't go away but I wish the 3rd party exclusive stufff would die. Let everyone enjoy all of the content.

The hell are you even on about? I expended my hand cannon, sniper and rocket launcher, but I'm not gonna stand around and let the things run out so I have to hunt them down again just because some idiot gets upset at me going to replenish my ammo.

I'd be amazed if it queues based on rank. It does not seem that way with some of the party members I get. Also while in pve simple emots are cool, wish in crucible they changed to be A, B and C cause too often I get other players that go out of their way to get the worst control point and then it hurts the team. All the maps have 2 close proximity control points that are easy to defend and one that just fucks you over if you have it.

Playing solo from the SE US (maybe you're in a different region or seeking with friends?), literally 49 out out of 50 Crucible matches are people exactly my level or +/- a couple. Well over half the matches seem to be ridiculously high ping with those post mortem kills the other guy was referring to and the frequent insta-deaths before the local client even shows someone shooting at you. The game is absolutely not prioritizing connection quality at all, or is giving it the lowest weight. Rank and wait times are definitely given the highest priority.

While you can compare WoW and Destiny in certain regards, Destiny does not have WoW's "scale," so, yeah...

So yeah let's just pay for smaller DLC sized 'updates' which could easily be released for free as means to keep the game alive, not these all similar bounties and strikes.

The grind, aka the farming is real. Because there's not much else to enjoy is there?

*aside from PVP.

You don't need to use long range weapons on bastion/first light, just stick to the interior areas and only venture outside when there's no interceptor/asshole snipers around. There are always, always snipers on the outskirts of both maps though, some spots more commonly than others. If I'm feeling especially vindictive, I'll kill them with tracking rockets from half way across the map for maximum hilarity.

Both maps let you patrol between the heavy ammo spawns staying almost completely in cover the whole time too, which is a glorious bonus when you manage to secure one heavy and kill everyone on the way to a second.
