I'm disappointed about Kelly being the recipient of the worm to the eye, but if she's to be the Master's bride, that's a real interesting concept. If i was in charge i would have made this episod be entirely fom her perspective. Guess it's nice to dream.

man, the last episode was boring as fuck .. the mrs doesn't want to watch the show anymore :-/

at least the next episode teaser looked more exciting ..

It's certainly a puzzling move. Sort of book spoilers without revealing anything plot wise:
They are not introduced until much later in the books. They aren't in New York for at least a week or two after stuff starts going down, if I remember right.

I was wondering where they were going to go with them, introducing them this early but apparently the answer is nowhere haha

I watched all 10 episodes yesterday and damn, is everybody stupid in this show?!?!

The fucking taxi driver, the gas station attendant, the director of the CDC. The whole damn world?!?!

Someone else pointed it out but clearly there have been vampire attacks all over New York, yet no widespread panic?!?! Eph showed the dude a video of the vampires and instead calls the police on him?!?!?

The taxi driver just sits there saying "what the fuck is happening" instead of you know, driving the fuck off?!?!?

Hassan, the guy at the gas station, clearly sees what's going on and is instead worried about who is going to pay for shit?!?!

Last but not least, the cops who arrested Gus, did they not see the fucking vampire with the long ass alien tongue in the alley next to them?!?

Seems like the only people on the show with some sense are Abraham, Fet, and hell even the maid had more sense then just about everyone else. She didn't even wait until the woman turned. She got out of that shit as soon as she saw her eyes.

No widespread panic may be credited to that hacker gurl shutting the internet down. Other than that, yeah, some people are really stupid in the show. Still like it though.

To put it in gaming terms, the show wants us to believe we're pre-Resident Evil 0 with "bizarre cannibal murders" when we're already at Outbreak's beginning with turned victims wandering into public places to feed.

Typing this on my vita so sorry for my shitty typing. I think this show is pretty great but I agree that it seems inhabited by retards. I also think its odd that this show launched on the basis of being something about a deadly disease when its kindof a straight up vampire show. parasitic infection or no. I especially thought the quote about viruses in the opning episode was out of place as hell.

Funny how her hair didn't fall out and she didn't throw up all over herself like the other infected. No doubt the virus will also boost her cleavage.

Great episode, thought they would jump the shark for sure and (book spoiler warning)
have her scratching at the window like the beginning of book 2, or whatever, calling out his name across the street)

The worst is that even if they did wise up and murder them in order to improve the show by like 5 notches, it'd just lead to at least 2 terrible episodes of Eph and Nora being unbearably sappy and refusing to leave the basement or some shit.

Technically, how can the kid buy cigarettes. He should have just opened the gate and let her out. When they got back say she beat him up for the key opened the gate and ran off.
