I'm gonna punch a duck if these glitches aren't fixed.

It's random unfortunately.

I think it's high time I take my tail back to Diablo 3.

That's bullshit.

How does Bungie expect those who weren't lucky enough to get any Raid gear to progress further than level 28? It's needed as it caps out higher than the stuff in the Tower.

Spent the last hour or so chaining lvl 24 strikes. That was super fun even if the loot wasn't stellar. Decided to bank my exotic auto rifle today as well, I just don't like that class of gun as much as scout rifles.

I really love the group play in this game. Hopefully I can get to raiding next weekend and see what that's all about first hand.

They want you to run it weekly until you get what you want. It's literally the last bit of content in the entire game, and they want to drag it out until the expansions hit I guess.

I think it will be extremely rare. The raid trophy itself is only at .28 percent.

Just wait till you go in there with a raid of 28s who know every fight, you'll see how much easier it is. Once people start getting 30 and have worked on hard mode some, normal is going to be a joke. I can't say i've actually seen it mentioned here but this thread goes by pretty fast but in hard mode there are no resurrections mid encounter, so it's basically practice for the trophy.

For anyone who needs help with the last boss of the raid, I have become a MASTER relic user, and have it down to a science, I can usually get the team that is teleported returned to the boss fight in no time, other two members can focus on oracles no prob.

a good way to tide people over until the first wave of patches hit is to refresh the stock of bounties. those get me to log on and play for at least a couple hours each day, but when you go 3 days doing the exact same ones it loses meaning.

People are practically almost there, now that there's a solid speedrun strategy.
Any links to the speedrun strat? Or just good strats in general?

Edit: with a team of guys right now in the area before the final boss. Were having problems with it so thats why im wondering for a good strat.

I forgot to post this earlier, but I think I found a way to do bounties twice each day.

If you're online when the 2 AM rollover happens, you can go get the refreshed bounties and turn them in. Then if you log out, the next time you log in there will be another set of bounties. That seems to be what happened to me this morning anyway.

Cryptarch must have seen all the goodies Vanguard was giving me or something for when I leveled him up he gave me Midas Multitool! :D
I mostly use Hand Cannot or Scout Rifle so a Exotic Scout Rifle was much appreciated. Now to get my hands on a Legendary Hand Cannon..
Vanguard also gave me another piece of Chest Armor so now I have two. One that give ammo to Hand Cannon/Fusion Rifle and one Scout Rifle/Sniper Rifle. Gonna level them both up for the raid this weekend. Buy myself a helmet and I should be ready. Level 26 and could maybe reach 27 with a helmet and upgrading some armor.

Only thing I got from drops is Heavy Weapons which of course is great. But the last piece I want. But my legendary Rocket Launcher is fantastic for Wizards or when the shit is about to hit the fan. And Heavy Machine Gun packs a punch!

Wow I got a ten kill streak with a void machine gun and finished the pvp part of the thorn bounty finally.

Anyone care to help with the lvl 26 moon strike?

Psn: Eldritch_Spectre

Uh I'm still Level 5 and just did first moon boss battle last night to get bumped from level 4 to Lvl5 - enemies were all Level 6...is it normal to be lagging behind the enemies or do you usually grind to keep up with the level progression (or better yet ahead of it...) - it was a little too easy to die on attack leading up to that boss battle...maybe my Hunter just sucks

I usually am the type to explore every nook and cranny in games, for Diablo 3 I will not proceed until I have looked around every part of the map. It seems like I'm wasting my time when I try to do that in Destiny because I hardly ever find any loot, is it best to just focus on clearing the next waypoint? Or is it worth poking nose around?? Sometimes I'm finding dead ghosts or some grass etc but hardly ever loot...

4 purple drops today and all were blues. GG Destiny

I've got two legendary from blues and none from purples.. Weird...
Even weirder I've gotten zero from farming and both from patrolling with low level friends... RNGesus has weird sense of humor

It's not fun to do weekly though, everyone on the team needs to be fairly decent at the game and you'd have to get the same group together every week, or a group together that won't crap out after a few mishaps which won't happen with the more casual players or players who have other commitments. There are also glitches that can ruin entire runs completely.

A lot of people come into these raids thinking its a situation where the weaker team members can be carried to an extent by the more skilled players, but its not the case, and if they end up dying the more skilled players are screwed, because they really do need them. The way they designed the raid is the epitome of the phrase "you are only as strong as your weakest link".

I also got extra bounties. Maybe I was online at the time the roll over occurred. I was glad I got some extra Vanguard Rank anyway =)

Noticed that those "kill a special enemy" Patrol Missions give +25 to Vanguard Rank while all other give +10. And they are very easy once you hit level 20+. Just run past all other enemies and kill the boss and out look for the next Patrol Mission

Is it possible to get three strange coins from doing public events with each of your characters? I tried today but only got one strange coin and some blue crafting mats.

Can anyone answer this? Tried again today and got one coin and four shards.

Getting kind of annoyed at all the people that queue up strikes just to go afk and not do anything, last 5 I ended up 2 manning :(

On another note, the Ice Breaker just keeps impressing me. This sniper rifle is absurd lol

You'll either get ascended materials, strange coins or motes of light. Just random on what you get.

The reward for doing your first public event of the day is a random high-level material. It can be a Strange Coin, a Mote of Light, an Ascended Energy or an Ascended Shard.

Well.. I like taking on stuff above my level ;) but you can just do some bounties or whatever and level up, if you want to make it easier on you.

There are loot chests that can randomly spawn, and little hidden areas. you get better at knowing what to look for, if that makes sense.
