Bungie needs to do some kind of double mark/reputation weekend, or at least raise the weekly mark cap. Why is there even a cap? It's ridiculous that it's gonna take three weeks for me to get the weapons I want.
 
eh

at least they're acknowledging a bit of the bullet spongieness of certain areas and missions. i mean, its nice getting the extra cash but ...yeah. especially when majors don't change situations all that much
 
So, the Cryptarch has like... two class items for the Warlock total, right? I always get the same shit when I decrypt any class engrams.
 
Holyyyyyyy shit. Does anyone run Defender on their Titan in PVP? Do you have some pointers?

I made the mistake of trying to level up that class in PVP and it was so miserable. Ward of Dawn is useless in PVP, even in choke point heavy maps or modes like control. You get nothing from using it except a bubble that no one is stupid enough to walk into unless they are another Titan who is running Striker....

Also the magnetic nade sucks. I might be getting it confused since each class has a million fucking things they can toss at you, but the Hunter's and Warlock's "homing" nade is WAY more accurate. I've seen dudes toss it at a window and the thing will turn the corner and fly in.

I eventually had enough and switched back to Striker and proceeded to wreck face again. I guess I'll be ranking this up in PVE/Turning in bounties.

I should probably add that I can't use my mic at this time of night- it's 2am here and family are asleep. But I'm not stupid and I can still hear you.
 
Bit strange to see them nerfing the heroic version of them missions, never had any trouble with them my self. Not seen many people complain about them either.
 
Well, I finished the main game story and I'm pretty much done with wanting to do anything with this game.

The positives for me: The gameplay, the soundtrack (GOD TIER and best of the year), the art design and world design, and the overall atmosphere. Top notch.

The negatives is the widely discussed looting system, the missions, and the antiseptic nature of the voiceacting (even if it's not Peter Dinklage).

I'm tempted to just trade this in to Gamestop and see what I get, but I want to wait until the upcoming updates change/improve things (I know everyone's favorite cave will be hotfixed).
 
So we just downed the final raid boss, got the shader and trophy, but after the mission timer finished, it never took us to the score screen for our mission rewards. What's up with that?

Everyone's favorite cave has a stay of execution for now, if the patch notes are any indication.

You do know the more the better right? You share EXP with the people close to you and get rewards and loot for the kills of other players close to you.

Happened to us too. Just go to orbit, then click the center touchpad or whatever the equivalent is on your console of choice. It's a bug,

Gave the loot cave a first spin while killing some time on remote play. Just a bunch of greens and six blues. Did at least get a mote of light and strange coin from the blues. Definitely not something I'd spend much time on, but 30 minutes on remote play when killing time isn't bad if they don't patch it out.

Otherwise I'll just occasionally farm the moon mission when there's the kill 3 enemies with one super 20 times bounty as that's a quick way to knock that out and get some loot. Otherwise easier to just do bounties, the daily mission and public events to earn marks and rep.

That's exactly what they're doing, trying to stealth it by saying they're reducing the difficulty. At least be honest.

We did, and it just left us in a black screen. We eventually had to turn off our PS4s. So are we screwed out of the end rewards then?

You can farm on that one? I usually just do the Dark Beyond and nuke all the trash mobs that come out of the Temple for easy blue/purple engrams.

What a bunch of assholes. Instead of fixing their shitty path to eternal grinding, they're just making it even more of a grind.

This is glimmer farming. There was an area right after a checkpoint with 8 Hive majors, with the wax idol thing you got 320 glimmer in 45 seconds. You maxxed out in an hour.
