They're all over rumble. ward of dawn single-handedly ruined that playlist for me.

There are two things wrong here. The first is that Titan's are not all over rumble, I play rumble a lot and I'm normally the only titan in the room. The second is that Ward of dawn is particularly effective in deathmatch gametypes when the ability is at best a dummy trap, you'd have to be an idiot to step inside it that deserves to be murdered.

It does, but I was referring to the "drastically reduced charge/equip time when switching to this weapon." You'll still get better accuracy aiming down the sights, of course, but the stability boost does help.

Ah yeah, that will definitely make for a nice knockout punch when you run out of ammo on your primary in PvP :D

so many lead changes this match
ByMb1icCEAAFkm3.jpg:large
for the record this is definitely an uncommonly good match for me. but wardo was using a Shingen-E and I was hand cannon/fusion rifle. finished the match killing him with a headshot from the big chief B)

Bah I got Bad Juju Exotic Bounty. Not that Thorn or whatever else I had to choose sounded good but sorry to hear it seem to suck. Thinking of doing the bounty just to be able to dismantle the rifle for parts xD

The BS shield that Blade dancers get should be put on Sunsingers. BDs are stronger offensively and defensively and it's ridiculous. They can take a shotgun + melee and still get to you with that insane speed increase + auto aim melee.

Whoever thought that it was balanced needs to be talked to.
Don't sunsingers get a shield as well? I thought the amount of bullets to kill was pretty similar between the two.

So Bungie gets to determine what I find fun in the 60 dollar game I bought? I have a lot of fun at the cave. The events come every half hour, the whole mob thing that occurs, I get gilmore cards filled up and some great loot. What, I should do the summoning pits for the 30th time? That's a hoot. I'd rather enjoy myself and get good gear thank you very much.

Go for it, if you enjoy that. I don't blame you, I play Dynasty Warriors, and as you would hear it in that game you just press Square. However, I feel alot of people like getting loot. Nothing wrong with that either. But then they resort to standing in front of a cave because it's the fastest way to do it. If you like doing it, more power to you, but when people start doing it just because it's the fastest way to get loot....that's a design issue.

So I head up to the Skywatch to see if anyone's farming, and of course, people are. So I do the little quests around the area just for kicks. As I'm doing it I'm moving back and forth in front of the cave so I can gauge to see if the guys farming are taking issue with it. They are.

After I finish the side quests, proceed to dancing in front of the cave. I got a few angry messages too, but it was worth it. I'm so tired of seeing guys up at the Skywatch farming.

What a troll. No one cares what you're tired of seeing. Farming the cave is the most social thing going for this game. Let people enjoy the game the way they want.

Are there exotic Fusion rifles? If so, what looks to be the "best" or superior one? Thank you, and I apologize if this has already been asked
I'm on a bounty for pocket infinity right now. dunno how it is yet. need 6 more blue fusion rifles.....

scenario:

we're on anomaly in the big green cave. i round the corner and prenade a titan hoping to finish him off quickly and turn around to kill the guys approaching behind me. well he sees the grenade and instantly drops the ward of dawn, such so that my nade doesn't hit him. at this point i may as well put my controller down. i can't challenge him because he has an overshield and i can't turn my back to face the other guy or i'll get hit in the back with a shotgun.

i'd rather have been fist of havoked.

Ummm... Help?

Is it true that Crucible and Vanguard marks reset every week? Do they reset even if they're not capped out and I haven't had a chance to spend any of them yet?

After we defeated the Fallen and Hive during their great war I decided to go ahead and vacate the spot preventing the Hive from spawning in the cave.

I still found the whole thing hilarious.

Can I please just make a brief rant please? These exotic bounties are FRIGGIN INSANE!!!!!

The requirements are like massive.

You could spend weeks trying to complete just one of these things. Sheeeeesh!

The Raid itself was amazing. Great times with fellow members here

But the fact I didn't get one piece of the Raid armour that is needed to level up is pretty disappointing. Come on.

I've heard the Pocket Infinity is just ok. Apparently the charge time is really long.
Looks like the charge time is uncommonly long but the way it fires is very different from other fusion rifles. you have to keep it near-charged frequently (regular fusion rifle users know about "cooking" your charge a bit) but the full-auto aspect makes it a completely different story IMO. reserving judgment until I get to play with it.

The marks themselves dont reset. The cap resets so you can continue earning more of them. The actual marks you earn are yours to keep and spend whenever you want.

Hue. People say how Defender Titan is useless in PvE or PvP because their super isn't an offensive one, but they are increddiiibly fun. So much fun I made a PvE montage of them.

the fact that people think THIS is a design issue. not something we've spoken about much in here. but it should be communicated more clearly that you don't have to worry about that and your marks will accrue over time.

Yea this makes sense. I'm actually storing all of the rare fusion rifles I get in my vault in case I ever get the exotic bounty for it lol I'd love to try it myself.

lmao, this is so true. When I want to meet high leveled people I just go there and I'm pretty much guaranteed to find anywhere from 3 to 6 people.

I always understood it as "get to 100 in three days, spend my 100. Wait for the weekly reset to earn more." Brad from GB tweeted about him having way less than 100 and grinding out more before the reset. It scared the shit out of me.

would be hypocritical for bungie to patch the cave without addressing the core issues first. for all the talk about guardians forging their own stories out in the wild, that's where it's happening.

useless is just incorrect. in pve it's essential and in pvp it gives you control of the flow of battle, especially if you have a shotgun.
they're the scariest thing I can encounter in pvp 1 on 1, personally. people talking shit about defender titans is becoming a little like admitting they don't get the game

Huh, got a legendary engram from being first place in rumble. That never happens. Unfortunately I don't actually need a purple helmet...

Edit:

scenario:

we're on anomaly in the big green cave. i round the corner and prenade a titan hoping to finish him off quickly and turn around to kill the guys approaching behind me. well he sees the grenade and instantly drops the ward of dawn, such so that my nade doesn't hit him. at this point i may as well put my controller down. i can't challenge him because he has an overshield and i can't turn my back to face the other guy or i'll get hit in the back with a shotgun.

Holy shit at that guys reaction time in that scenario, then. And the fact that his advantage also relies on someone being behind you kinda proves my point. That and the person behind is more likely to get the kill than he is. Ward of Dawn's real use is Salvage and control, where it can forcibly hold down a point. It's ultility in rumble is minimal unless you're surrounded by idiots.

I wish there was some form of trading system. Could have given it to you... instead I dismantled it. It only gave me 2 ascendant energy's.

I wish this too. I got a few pieces I'd love to give to my friends. Stored them in the vault for the future though, maybe they will add a trading system some time.

I agree with the design issue. I understand loot based games take time but holy hell, I was level 23 and beat the game, grinded missions on each planet and did every strike a few times and had half blue and half greens. I see a cave where blues drop like candy and a purple or two every hour, well, I just found my new fun.

I look at it like I am prepping for the rest of the expansions. I still cant do the raid and I'm cresting about 45 hours playtime. That sucks. I have to work all day so I cannot play 10 hours a day, everyday, to get the 10 yellow items I need. As for buying them, well, same problem. I hate the MP and I am capped at 100 vanguard each week? What? It's ridiculous. I am glad others enjoy the crubicle but when it comes to MP I prefer the tactical stuff like Rainbow Six and Battlefield. I enjoy living more than 60 seconds and actually talking to people and forming plans to hold the bases. Also, I have put a full clip from my AR into a helmet and it barely took the shield down. An entire clip of high velocity lead blasting into someones head and they don't die yet one sniper shot takes me down? MP is so not for me.

I will never get the thorn. I cant seem to get past 50 points. Im so inconsitent and bad with the special weapons.

I got the exotic bounty yesterday and picked thorn since I didn't want a rocket launcher and the other option required xur to even start. I enjoy PVP but am always dead last with < 0.2 KD ratios, so it seemed like a daunting challenge to me as well.

I ended up getting it done after about 6 hours of PVP over 2 days, my tips are

- get a void shotgun or fusion rifle, and practice in PVE with them first (the moon story with "we've woken the hive!" at the start is a good place) so you are good at aiming, especially with fusion.

- with shotgun (what I used), stay crouched the WHOLE time and move slowly, constantly looking at the radar. play defensively, not aggressively. I spent a lot of time hiding by doors and shotgunning in the face people who ran past

- i played control 99% of the time, the few times i tried rumble results were mixed. some games I did good, some games I did horrible and killed 3 people and died like 15 times. its just too much of a clusterfuck unless you have memorized every map

- corridors and small halls are your friend, open spaces are your enemy (with shotgun, maybe opposite with fusion). if i saw more than one red enemy on my radar i ran like hell, its better to get one kill in than face 2 or 3 people and probably die. only exception was if i had my super up, then I'd charge in.

- map capture points are great places to sneak up and kill someone from behind, again with crouch you can stay off the radar if you move slow

I thought it was gonna be an impossible task too but it slowly grinded up, the first few games I actually made 0 progress (you wont go negative, as I found out) but as I learned the maps I got a lot better. The bounty actually made me a much better PVP player.

Of course the second I was done I switched back to my melee punch build and ran rumble with glee, dying like 10 times for every kill and not caring at all anymore.

It will forever and always blow my mind just how many people run into an enemy titan's bubble shield only to get hit by a shotgun and die...

If I didn't have to hold my controller with both hands, I'd facepalm every time.

don't understand the omission of trading. "earning your rewards" loses meaning when they aren't guaranteed drops. should be able to meet players in the wild and trade weapons, gear or materials with them. would easily facilitate more interaction in patrol missions. if they don't want people "boosting" or having every exotic at the onset, limit it to one or two trades a week or something.

destiny is basically animal crossing with twice as much grinding and no ability to chat or drop fruit and furniture.

BgMeHyC.gif

this and patience and time are the only exotics i've wanted.

Sorry, with ice breaker and pocket infinity.... I don't think I need exotic weapons anymore. A legendary auto rifle would be nice though. Need to grind the crucible and vangaurd to hit level 3

Damnit, a second legendary fusion rifle. A shotgun would have been nice.

Edit: ohjesusthankyou, thought for a minute I had disassembled my sweet-ass legendary hand cannon, had dropped it in the bank. phew

It does happen a lot, as I said, it's a good dummy trap.

So what class do you guys feel is the most OP in Crucible? Most of my friends (who are 95% Hunters) say titan is OP.

HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA. Unless they constantly play control and get cockblocked by defender's setting up bubbles at points, Titans have nothing that's OP. They're probably mad because a titan in a bubble actually has a decent chance of murdering a blade dancing hunter. Most OP class is definitely Blade dancer, just watched one take out 5 people at the end of the match I just won, and every single one of them shot him a few times.
