Anyone up for a last minute attempt at the nightfall? I'm a level 27 Sunsinger with plenty of arc and solar damage. Made it to the final boss below and got suck.

Managed to beat the nightfall just in time thanks to GAF. Ended up getting that exotic rocket launcher Xur was selling last weekend. The other two guys just got a single legendary item

It really is the only way. Either to hope for a good drop, or get your rep up high enough to buy one. To buy legendary weapons though, you need a rep of at least 3 I think?

How?? I have that one and I'm afraid to start working on it. The K/D of 25?? I rock PvP but my k/D is rarely over 2..

It's not like that. It's 25 more kills than deaths until its completed, so you could be 12-3 in one game and then 17-1 in the second game to finish it.

I did it in 2 games easy, then solo'd the weekly to finish it off.

Had some fun with Christmas Cave grinding yesterday. Turned up and there were like 4 people there already so I climbed on to the rock next to them, sat down and just watched as the cave filled up without me doing anything.

Finally got to level 20, yay! Decided to start grinding rep and do bounties and patrol missions. I was on Venus and had 2 public events start 8 separate locations, but oddly, no one showed up. I thought this was supposed to bring in tons of other players. I tried to take it on by myself, but failed. Is this happening for others? Would have been fun to see a big battle there.

I'd rather they just make it so if a spawn point gets all it's enemies killed within 10 seconds of spawning, more than 5 times in a row, it triggers the spawn point to either stop, or spawn enemies with a shield that lasts 10 seconds.

Would fix all the farming.

I did the Nightfall strike, got an Exotic Chest Piece- but I already have an Exotic helmet...

Don't assume everyone who is farming is ONLY farming. Spending 15-30 minutes in skywatch as a fireteam you can both farm and knock off some patrol missions and bounties at the same time. It's a nice relaxing activity to throw in between more demanding things like strikes and PvP.

I don't know the exact mechanics of that part but I finished it in one pvp match with 37 kills and a. KD of 4

Double jumping doesn't work 99% of the time. What's even worse is someone who specs nova bomb for maximum coverage. Shit can hit a quarter of the map.

Now that I have an exotic, 2 legendary primary weapons and almost full legendary gear, I feel like I need to level them up and then take on the raid this weekend.

Really wish I would've had the chance to get those 6 strange coins I missed out on. Could've had 26 going into this weekend. I'll likely only have 20 though.

nova bomb is free. you can jump right past the warlock trying to cast it and kill him before his animation is even done. titans though... you're taking the L and there's no dodging at all lol
