I've gotten Achilles 9 times in Crucible. Nine.

Have you used The Culling? Curious how SGA compares to it style wise. I'm kinda leaning towards wanting pocket infinity now too, I don't really like FRs but they're very handy against minotaurs.

Lol, it's probably like that. Luke Smith loves to see us tortured. Honestly, Reach was a peak and how they will be handling the Destiny loot distribution/grind.
Blink is cool in theory and certain practices, but the lack of precision in the jumps is a killer for me.
Are there blue fusion rifles? I need to dismantle 10 for an exotic bounty haha
Rate of Fire isn't an issue, as you can see.
It also has a stability upgrade on it. Both bars are basically maxed after you upgrade it. The impact is really low, which sucks, so I'm still trying to decide if it's a good tradeoff.
Funny I've had this gun for quite awhile but never used it. Good thing I didnt dismantle it. Will try it out in crucible
I'm used to higher impact guns then that but we'll see

Pretty good legendary haul today, thanks to the Queen's missions:
- Queen's guard mask
- Queen's guard vest (three)
- Sniper rifle: The Supremacy
- Jumpship: Chasing Infinity
And still have to tries left, courtesy of the PvP bounties. Just missing gauntlets to have full legendary gear, which will either drop tomorrow or I'll buy with this week's vanguard marks. All in all this event will save me two weeks worth of mark farming.

Save them for the Trials of Osiris event.
I read somewhere that the Osiris event requires a mote of light per ticket.

So I get my first exotic bounty and instead of researching this board like I will do in the future, I picked the Ikora Rey bounty... So after doing my 5 perfect strikes, I'm excited! I'm getting my first exotic, wait what? There's a part 2... That forces me to do PvP... Fuck this game

And the one addendum to those, chests and resources apparently make a distinctive sound that you can hear from nearby, but I'm too old so I can't hear it because Bungie hates old people (or my speakers suck, or both).

Even Tl;dr-ier would be...
Make sure to unlock the Grimoire kills bonus on the planet you're on; chests are better than material nodes and respawn frequently; stay on your speeder as much as possible; switch max agility on your class to move around quickly on foot.

Imo, not really even necessary to follow a guide though. Just sort of keep following the flow of beacon missions (drop ones that require you to go far away unless you're "done" in an area) and explore EVERYTHING. he's not kidding about chests everywhere. I also get distracted easily and always always do public events but 100/hour isn't out of the question for my style either.
No idea, didn't even check that far because of how stupid it is.
are you just doing the bounties and getting all of that?
That's not even the hard PvP exotic mission. Be lucky you didn't get the one asking for 500 void kills in crucible.

Not too sure how I feel about this event. Sort of trivializes the effort needed to acquire legendaries. I spent a few hours last night levelling up Dead Orbit for the chest piece, only to get a comparable piece from maybe 30 minutes worth of work with this event.

It's hilariously easy. It requires you to get 25 positive kills over any number of games. That's it.

I've been doing it as a lvl 23 solo. Pretty much hell though.
That really sucks and is a great example of how this game needs a trade system.

i'm digging my new legendary fusion rifle (wizard 77), i feel like i have a chance at mid-long range now.
been running sunsinger for a bit now, i like radiance, burn, double grenades and for raids/strikes the ability to self res is literally a life saver.
pic.. the sunbreaker gauntlets don't show well at all on bungie's profile thingy though.

It really really does feel kind of random whether or not you make the jump right or not. However, I pulled a really awesome Top Gun on some guy in PvP the other day. Dude was right behind me chasing me down, and I stopped real quick and blinked backward. Landed right behind him and mowed him down while he tried to figure out where I went. (I should have taken a Polaroid)
You should start your own because people like me always say they'll start something and never get it going
(I want to, I'm just busy with work crap and there's a lot to cover on a game like Destiny)
Oh, the strategy guide has a metric shitton about game mechanics info, particularly weapons/mods etc, I think some online versions of it were floating around on Reddit.

Well it's the halfway point to the workday, once again, I'm getting the Destiny itch. This fucking game grabbed me pretty hard. I can make a long list of shit wrong with it, but in the end it just feels good to play.

I did all the bounties already except the pvp ones. I hope to fuck that doesn't mean I wasted chances getting legendary gear since I didn't play the wrath mission right after each bounty
Btw ... Scout rifle headshot bounty = lol. Only damn one in the room with one as I get pelted with auto rifles making it hard to even aim the damn think. Holy shit I hate this gun in pvp. Gotta be super accurate for a long duration of time while the opponents are blinking and sliding around. Wtf

You can apparently earn them from bounty rewards and mail.
I got a reallllllllllly cool one from either a mail or a bounty reward, I can't remember which, it's like gunmetal grey/silver/carbon fiber. Another is blood red. Another is camo green.
I usually use the gunmetal one or chatterwhite to show off my incredible non leetness (I'll change it out once everyone is wearing it in a week or so
)I think there's a website that has all of the ones in the game, though I dunno if they can be previewed properly there, google around a bit.
