Alright, how do I stop the Nova Bomb or First of Havoc then? Not be there? At least Bladedancer gives you a chance.

You can kill warlocks mid ult pretty easy. Ive done it and had it done to me multiple times. I agree titans pretty much cannot be stopped when ulting but he doesn't have an extended defensive buff. It's one slam that is pretty much gauranteed to wipe the area, but then he goes down extremely fast as he's vulnerable immediately after the hit (animation). The blade dancer on the other hand can quickly and easily wipe out the same small area then proceed to cross the map quickly using the speed boost and continue their spree dependent on enemy location and certain exotics like mask of of the third man. It's not uncommon for a single hunter to clear out and entire team at a control point with a bubble that are decently spread out enough so an ult from a warlock or titan wouldn't kill them all. It also turns the defender bubble into a death trap because of the sheer amount of blade
dancers in pvp. At least if I see a titan coming/warlock I can negate his ult with a properly timed shield or if my shield is up by moving in our out of the shield.

Basically what it comes down to for balancing of pvp and allowing it to be more useful in PVE is to up its damage per hit, but increase the drain rate of the super so unless the enemies are in a packed area they cannot go on a massive spree. The main problem here is the blade dancer was not thought out for PVE so they have no idea how to re-balance it in a way that gives usefulness to hunters for PVE other than giving the rest of its tree more useful benefits invisibility etc. But this in turn just makes them even more potent in PVP and still relatively unused in the harder PVE modes.

You can buy them for 175 vanguard marks at the vanguard quartermaster.

And upgrade them further with a module from Xur for 23 strange coins.

You're right, haha I'm an idiot. Completely forgot that the Vanguard QM sells them, didn't know about Xur though, Thanks.

Thanks, Lima.

Don't think I will bother with the Queen's crucible bounties as I am in no mood to farm for three chest pieces. Getting the three helmets was an absolute brutal waste of time.

Think of all the ascendant shards you got. You can upgrade the gear you really want to use with that.

i am given a choice for 3 exotic bounties for weapons

which one GAF?

The Summing Pits moon strike (A light in the Dark)

Toland's Legacy - Weekly Heroic or Nightfall *NOPE!

A Dubious Task *Talk to Ikora Rey

I need to pick before my connection crashes again

Just dismiss it, I've been dismissing mine for a while now. It'l stay in your inventory and you can pick when you're ready.

I would still have a way to offensively spec it in that style. Maybe the titan holds that shield and absorbs it into him to get a super overshield, or pushes it out like an explosion. But yeah I don't expect them to ever mess with stuff like that between modes.

The void bomb is useful against it, though they can see the wind up and back up so I don't think I've seen it kill them since they can just back up. Also doesn't feel worth it if it's just one guy who ran over and used a shield, though I'd do it if a few teammates are clumped in it.

The thing is, the Sunsinger already does the super overshield, and making it explosive basically makes it the same as a titan smash you can detonate whenever you want. They're kinda backed into a corner with balancing the abilities at the moment.

In control I've seen quadruple kills with void bombs on shield. Outside of that, well you more or less have a point, but in most other game modes you're gonna end up using void bomb on just one person anyway.

I have crazy awful luck killing Warlocks while they void bomb. I'm confused about what you mean about the bubble shield. defenders make a mockery of my bladedancer in pvp.

I have no issues with my bladedancer's performance in PvE either. it's ripe for using stupidly, but also very useful.

Can you help me do the weekly heroic strike for the shotgun thingy? And maybe I can invite admiral puppy?

Lets see, now at level 24 - Hunter, 22 - Titan, 21 - Warlock. I've seen ZERO exotic stuff, and have only gotten 3 pieces of legendary armor (arms for Hunter, helmet for Titan, chest for Warlock). This has included a lot of farming (the earth cave), Crucible play, and bounties. Feels like Ive gotten nothing, gotten nowhere, and have spent a lot of time doing so.

This is basically me. Although I'm 26. I found legendary boots last week, earlier this week I bought armor and gloves from Crucible vendor. I tried the raid last night and a few days ago but we didn't finish it. I haven't even attempted Nightfall yet :/ I wouldn't mind an exotic but at this point I just want to be level 27 or 28

Agreed on that point. I don't think I've ever been killed by a blade dancer when it goes into my bubble in pvp. The bubble gives you plenty of time to get 2 point blank range shotgun blasts to their face.

Really they've come into my ward of dawn on multiple occasions and still instantly kill you with the extra shield. Did it get her fixed at some point? I haven't played pvp much in the last week.

Cryptroll gave me a legendary from a purple engram. 1 out of 6 for the day.

77 Wizard fusion rife, it's impact stat is 95% full. Oh baby I was going to go to bed but I gotta try this bad boy

That was one of my first weapons from him. Still rocking it.

And I just got another bounty lead. Shit is looking up.

Edit scratch that its just another piece of shit regular pvp bounty. No thanks.

You have to have the damage resistance inside the bubble. Otherwise yea the overshields are useless.

That's how I felt until this past weekend where I went from all blues except one legendary scout rifle to legendary and exotic everything. It was fantastic. But, I bought the exotic chest plate and rocket laucher from Xur, bought the helmet and shoes from the Vanguard. Then I found a legendary secondary and gloves.

Doing bounties to level up Vanguard is the fastest way to get Legendary stuff, doing the weekly for strange coins to buy from Xur. You'll have just as much luck with random drops doing bounties as you will farming because it's all so damn random.

Yeah. That's the biggest misconception of the game. The random drops are not the core method of upgrading to legendaries. You can, but that's like replacing your annual income with a bunch of lottery tickets. Some will make out, the rest will hate it

But this is bungie a fault. From 1-20 you are getting constant loot from drops and new missions. The store can't even sell you anything legendary cuz you gotta be 20. You can buy greens, but why when you get constant drops.

Once you get to 20 you STILL can't buy shit cuz you gotta level up vanguard and crucible or try to understand the confusing faction system. So people go back to grinding random drops and do shit like that cave... Which spends hours earning NO vanguard or crucible marks or rep and leaves you still unable to buy anything

Do bounties. Play both crucible and mp. You will still get random drop chances, but at least your time will be spent gaining needed currency to buy your shit without praying to the rng

I'm able to sniper rifle his face enough times to kill him before he even moves from the spot he drops down to. Did you try that?
Didn't actually think of that, but then I don't actually have a sniper rifle at the moment. Fingers crossed I can get that sorted soon, I think I'll play some crucible tomorrow night and see if I can get lucky.

Pointless doing queens wrath if I'm only lvl 24?
I managed to finish restoration as level 23, so you should be OK (the post I've quoted above is a much better strategy than mine).
