By the way, if you want really easy Queen's Wrath missions to farm the Legendary gear, just start the mission, and if it isn't the Earth one (happens to be the very first mission in the game, that takes hardly any time to complete), just go back to orbit and keep trying until you do get it. Ends up being much quicker than doing the longer Queen's Wrath missions on other planets.

Instead of useless gear, think of them as Ascendant Shards.
I got the helmet 3 times and the robes once. Robes are exactly what I want them to be ironically, and the second helm was good but not perfect. With 2 weeks of this I'm sure I'll end up with the full set just about perfectly portioned and hopefully an autorifle.
lol I really think it was 5. Either way, I'd pay 500 for that thing.
And I don't have 23 coins for a weapon engram from Xur anyways.

These queens missions are no joke. I keep going back to orbit but I only get Venus, mars and the moon. I've tried each and I can get to the bosses if I take my time but then the bosses and their minions just fuck me up

So do we expect these Reef Bounties to reset each day like Vanguard/Crucible? I'm assuming so, but that pretty much guarantees everyone gets all of the Queens Guard gear if they keep doing them. Not that theres anything wrong with that.

Just keep retrying till you get Earth. It may take several attempts, but you'll get it eventually.
I hope your feeling is correct. It would be the only exotic to make me stop using my Thunderlord.

Any lvl 28 willing to help out with the weekly heroic on lvl 28? We have 2 lvl 27's ready to go.
They are not useful unless you need the materials from discarding them. Even the stuff the emissary vendor is selling looks no better than what to we factions sell.

Oh yeah and just FYI, my friend was soloing queens wrath and he said that if you quit a mission you still have your wrath token thing and when you restart its randomized again. He had a really hard mars mission but restarted and got the very first earth mission, way faster to finish. So just something to know, it seems the wrath item isnt redeemed until you actually finish the mission and get your loot so for people trying to solo don't trudge though a really hard level.

Yea, tomorrow I am gonna give it another go. I have soloed everything upt to level 26 so far with the exception of matchmaking strikes of course. I am gonna keep trying til I get earth now and pray to rngesus for a legendary helmet. Its my last blue and it sounds like the helmet is really common.

Buddy just hit 20 and got his first purple engram from crucible. I kept telling him to not get his hopes up, etc etc. He gets a legendary chest for his class.
I get a purple weapon engram a few matches later. Turn in and it's a blue worse than my current one.

It was 6 - I remember making a comment about it lol. I thought engrams were the random ones and he sold one guaranteed weapon?
I've fallen in love with the Ice Breaker. Yes, the stability is not great - but the gun is so much fun to use.

Also guys, want some opinions: Obviously have a shit ton of shards and thinking about upgrading to 29, but don't want to feel like I wasted the shards once I raid armor or if I find some cooler legendary pieces. What to do? I'm rightfully being stingy with shards, but would like to just level up now.

lol I'm like 3/30 (so about the same) and have NEVER gotten a legendary from a blue. Have turned in probably 125+ blues. My last 4 cryptarch rank ups have given me ALL blue engrams, which decrypted into blues and greens (and mats).

I'm full legendary now. Will get an exotic this weekend. At 27 and a couple of more points without spending too many ascendant shards and no exotic. Hopefully exotic lets me get to 28. Just did Night strike too.

He does sell a weapon (not engram), for 23 coins.. I only have 13. Have like 40 motes... but those are useless (for me) unless he has a weapon engram available. Then it has to be a special weapon engram and I have to hope for that sniper. GG

Another tip to make it quicker. If you're playing with two or more people, soon as the mission starts, have one person go to the first beacon (where you have to start the mission), and have the second person at the same time go to the bottom of the mission building, pre-emptively awaiting the second mission marker/start. As soon as the first player activates the beacon, the second player can activate the second stage almost straight away, despite being so far away from each other. That way both of you can very quickly have the main crux of the mission available to go straight to, in a matter of a minute or two.
