Hope the last shot is the dome crushing Big Jim. The town ecapes to Zenith and end up under a new dome. That's where the egg is after all.

So, Big Jim is still in the dome, Junior and Julia are trapped. And Melanie sounds like an alien(maybe Barbie is too). Alright then! Weird.

Its ratings are a good deal lower than its first season but they were still respectable for a summer show I guess so it'll probably get at least one more season.

Exactly! Only reason I watched this season. I just turned off my brain and rode that wave. I can't believe their will be another fucking season. This show just keeps shitting on the book but I can't help to not watch this train wreck. I hope it gets picked up for season 3. I wan't to see what other nonsense/shit they writers can come up with.

Seriously. This show is stupid. Lucky it is a summer show with nothing else to watch. I should apply to be a writer on it. Live the live of getting drunk and high all day and throw darts at the wall on what the next season will be about.
 
A shitty end to a shitty second season

It's so bad and corny but I can't stop watching.

We learnt pretty much nothing about the dome this season other than it has some link to that egg which came from outer space.

I did love rebecca getting killed though.

I do wonder why she didn't try to put her hands up and block the hammer to the head.
Or more importantly get the hell outta here once she gave the overdose. She had to know Jim would be pissed.
 
I was really hoping to see psycho Big Jim get squashed. Oh well.

I like how they killed off all the town's side characters. Because this show is about glowy things, not people. RIP prophetic child level paintings though. I will miss thee.
 
What a terrible finale. I've been telling myself there's no way I'll watch another season, but I have a feeling I would :/ So... it better not get renewed.
 
Not a fan of the finale or the season, I embraced the show in season 1 for what it is but I no longer enjoy it, sadly I want to know what the hell is the dome so I will keep watching.

I actually got my hopes up that she might be a
leatherhead
, but nope.

The lightning scene was hilarious. And then the kid stopped mourning his dead father about three seconds later.

I feel like I deserve an award for lasting two seasons of this garbage. I can't take it anymore. Good luck to everyone who decides to continue.

I didn't even watch half of Season 1 and not a single episode of Season 2, but that much was pretty obvious for anyone who has ever watched some movies or read a few books before. Did the plot seriously not advance in one and a half season? Wow...
 
Big Jim carrying the show. It's not a masterpiece by any means but I still enjoy it.
 
I haven't read the thread due to spoilers. If a programme like this can have spoilers...

I stuck with it through series 1 and I have seen five episodes of series 2 (UK scheduling).

My question: does it get any better or am I wasting more of my life on this?

This show just gets worse. I hoped the suffering would end. I kept watching because of the 'so bad it is good' factor... but now it just seems to be bad. And now we are getting a fucking 3rd season?
 
My favorite part about the finale is reminding the viewer that it's only been two weeks.

Aside from that, pure shit. The network should be ashamed.
 
The show is terrible yet I keep watching. Every week I just watched to see how ludicrous and nonsensical the plot was. Would miss it if it didn't get renewed..

It truly was. The effect was horrible.

Stephen King needs to be more worried about the quality of his novels' TV translations. This show has bastardized his great book's good name.
 
I haven't seen any episodes past 7 of season 1, but I got the Blu-ray to get some high-quality screens of myself and fellow extras. There is some behind-the-scenes footage on it that shows a quick glimpse of me standing with a PA and Jack Bender when I was pulled to play Joe's cousin.

Also just saw the Tomorrowland teaser, I'm guessing Britt Robertson going off to do that and a couple other things is why Angie was killed off?
