I absolutely adore his stuff. Really enjoying Death Vigil at the moment. Really hope that he does more than the 8 issues he has planned. I want to see more of his characters.

I've spent over $100+ catching up on what I've missed and the one comic I really loved enough to talk about was Spider-Gwen. Holy shit, does that have potential.

I still haven't bought TD#1 and B&P#3, so I'm not doing too good. My biggest waste was the rest of Original Sin. Holy shit, that was ugh. I did pick up a ton of Deadpool, which was nice.
OH AND MS. MARVEL #8 IS AMAZING AND GOOD AND BEST HERO EVER.
It seems to still be TBA.
I'm pretty sure the post saying it was coming out in October was referencing an announcement about it getting a release date for October 2013.

I want it, why did Francavilla take on so much work and put this 5 part min-series on the shelf?
I guess he really likes drawing for Twitter and prints.
It is a bit odd though that he does so much drawing for random stuff but seems to ignore Black Beetle. It's definitely a bummer.
But I guess whatever's working for him.
And I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy looking at all the great stuff he posts on Twitter. I'd probably enjoy Necrologue more though.

And at a rare price point for Marvel, too! I think Alonso/Fine are worried that increasing it would kill the book instantly, so we're lucky. I love this book and it's so fun.

I finally started reading my X-Statix omnibus after putting it off for months for no good reason, and jesus christ, why have i been putting it off for no reason?! This is kind of stuff is why i read comics. Excellent characterization and development, fleshed out relationships, gorgeous art by the best dude in the game still, impactful emotional moments (those last several issues of X-Force, man
). The fill-in artists kill it too, when Darwyn Cooke draws the date issue (which is incredible, one of the best issues of the series for sure) and Duncan Fegredo draws the X-Force finale, and I know there's more to come. I've already read through all the X-Force issues today, probably gonna be done with the whole thing by the weekend.
They milked out a fated death for as long as they could and i was gripped the whole time... U-Go Girl

They all but confirmed that the Booster Gold was from the pre-Flashpoint timeline. I'd say that was a pretty big twist.

Yeah, don't know why Tim is talking just about the last page. The previous 19 pages had some really crazy moments.
Maybe, but ARGUS didn't exist in the old universe and the older Booster had a pretty prominent ARGUS patch on his uniform.
Regardless, it was 20 pages of nothing happening except setting up the next event.

Noted. But given Booster Gold's been AWOL for so long, I'm happy if he's going to be a big part of the next event. Maybe he'll even get a new series out of it.
Geoff Johns Superman and Unchained were all the Superman I needed.
Yeah, I freaking love Booster Gold and this was one of literally two or three gimmick month books I was interested in. I was hoping for a fun, done in one story, not the prologue for next year's fill in event while they move to the West Coast.
At least the old Booster and Blue Beetle will be back in JL3K.
