Was anyone dropping like green engrams yesterday when in friends fire teams trying to do the queen stuff?
 
Hey Guys, looking for some advice here, I am completely stuck at lvl 21, I have been here for almost a week now. I am missing gauntlets with light, and cant seem to find any. I am too low level for the daily and weekly mission shit still, and im still quite far away to from lvl 2 vangaurd and crucible rep. Is there any missions i should be playing that will help me get better gear or?

Queen bounties just started yesterday, complete them do queen missions (you'll need to be carried) and on completion you'll get legendary stuff garunteed.

LOL Yeah. But good luck getting into that room without being shot to death, countered by another Titan Smash, or even Defender Bubble Shield.

Key emphasis on the word lucky. And I've never been one shotted by a Titan melee. Nor have I ever one shotted another player. My melee's kill off a shotgun two-piece, usually.
- insta kill shoulder bash on running. Not only it's the strongest class but also it doesn't have any debuff to running around, not actually it's very much recommended as you one shot anyone without having to slowodown
Shoulder bash is so easily baitable, it's not even funny. I had to curb my enthusiasm for it once people started radar baiting me into running towards them. Everytime I did, thinking I was gonna shoulder rush them, I'd eat a shotgun blast to the face. Now I tend to shoulder rush unsuspecting victims. I rarely run towards anybody that's clearly waiting for an easy Titan shotgun kill now.
- Bubble makes them invicible inside. Already strongest class, here, get ANOTHER shield inside your impenetrable shield, to make sure no one will ever go for you inside.
Bladedancers will wreck a Titan's shit inside that shield. Unless you pre-emptively toss a nade in the bubble, then switch to your shotgun as a BD is entering, you're gonna die. It's open season on anybody else, though, so stay the fuck out (or not). *^_^*

Responses in bold.

EDIT: Bubble Shield can also get hard countered by another Titan's Smash. You waltz in with anything else other than those two supers, it's gonna be a slug fest.

it won't get him gauntlets, but yes, a legendary helm and chest are relatively up for grabs right now.

About how many queen bounties do you need to unlock the queen mission? Do I still get vanguard marks for her missions too?

looks like all the gear to me. I guess the sniper rifle isn't there, though, actually.
 
Is there any way to get motes of light faster? It seems to take forever to get one by earning xp, are they guaranteed drops anywhere?

Slighty disappointing the Helm of Inmost Light doesn't get shaded, can look out of place on certain colors.

i am storing any skins I really really like in the vaullt, on the slight off chance they add transmutation one day.

I did a couple of bounties and now have 4 Queens something in my inventory. On the main planet screenin orbit tere is now the Queens Strike listed on the left side where all the daily/weekly stuff is too.

Nothing is a guaranteed drop anywhere except the stuff you can buy. Even the raid gear sometimes doesn't drop a single piece for you in a full raid (or two, for some folks I play with).

And in Diablo 3 I often experienced not being able to join games with my friends because the limit is 4. And in WoW I often experienced not being able to join dungeon groups because the limit was 5 or the class role I filled was taken.

1 bounty per mission attempt, so if you do 5 queen bounties you get to do 5 mssions, and you only get rep for her faction though, no matter what mark you wear.

Edit: her missions are on the left of the level select screen where you can pick daily and weekly heroic missions.
 
So after raiding yesterday evening I had only time to do 4 queen bounties and have done one mission.

How long can I do those other 3 missions? Are they resetting everyday?
 
wow, so that kill orders mission is no joke. i'm stuck at lvl 24 but thought i would try to solo it. enemies go down fast but their shots are almost instant kill for me.

what lvl do you guys recommend i be for this? if i were to get a group to play it with would i be fine? I haven't gotten to do anything fun like the raid so i really want to experience this and i don't know anyone on destiny.

My pal and I did one like 30 minutes ago. He was level 21 and i was 24. :P Lets just say we were getting wrecked until I went beast mode.... and by beast mode I mean finding a spot were the boss couldn't hit me. We died at least 25-30 times combined.
 
Just did a Queen's Wrath mission solo. Had to do the Mars mission with the bridge at the end. Thought I was gonna have a real tough time with that one (especially with the boss at the end), but thanks to the solar modifier, I managed to take out the boss with a couple of headshots from my sniper rifle and three quick shots with my Golden Gun. And I got a Legendary helmet for my troubles. At least now I'm wearing nothing but Legendary gear for the time being

And just so I'm clear, completing Queen missions don't count to her faction rep, correct?

Hey folks, do you think there's a chance of Bungie adding a "custom livery" tool in future?

With customisation and looking cool being quite a big part of it (aside from stats), I think it'd be a great addition. Kind of like the livery editor in Forza (buying/selling using in-game currency would be interesting).

Even something simpler like the gang logos in GTAV could work, as there's still a lot of potential for creativity. It could be restricted to certain pieces of armour, or the class specific items to keep things reasonable.

It would probably mean extra server load and filtering work, but I think it could be a great feature. I know I'd spend hours on it just like I did with Forza 2!
 
so doomquake brings up a good point, the queen missions have you do missions youve not actually played before, so if you've leveled up intensely but not finished the story, it can feel a little disjointed.

And in BF4 I can't play with 65 of my friends. Such wit


I dunno. Coming from Halo and its 4 player coop experience it feels like someone is always missing out here. At least in strikes.
