I keep getting disconnected when playing PVP. Does anyone have the same problem?

It is the only game I have trouble playing online and it's pissing me off, especially when I am winning and close to victory. It's my connection? or the shitty Bungie servers? I really don't understand.

God I am fucking close to throw the game out the window.

It happens to me too. Not just PvP either. Always happens at the worst times too like near the end of a run or match.

So I'm creating a clan for me and my friends on Bungie.net. Can someone tell me what "Clan ID" is? Is that what shows up on our character card or whatever? I assumed the Group Name would, but I'm not sure.

What damage I need to that new Nightfall? And which Strike it is based?

I will just reach lvl 28 tonight (96 light right now) before try it.

All these statements make me think that you have not played with the other classes because you cannot get that amount of range or time out of Fist of Havoc or Nova Bomb

The AOE damage from those supers easily would have killed them. And yes I have used those abilities, both in the beta and in the game.

I'm finally Level 27!

Is the Weekly Nightfall Strike doable at Level 27 or am I gonna die all the time?

Absolutely doable at 27, just have the appropriate weapons.

The Nightfall strike this week (Nexus) is much easier compared to Phogoth last week, but I still wouldn't recommend you do it alone.

Oh yes. Nothing I hated more than spamming wizards. Those bastards were the worst!

Last blow is kinda BS for this type of game unless you ask your friends to let you do it.

Last blow is completely contradictory to every mechanic taught by the game.

Playing as a bladedancer i don't agree with this. There are specific situations where your super does not save you, it isn't as flexible as the titan smash that still kills you if you behind cover.... Also titan smash will always kill a bladedancer while in he is in mid super..... ALWAYS and I find that to be bullshit.

Smash can get people behind cover, but you can also be killed up until you actually hit the ground. Half of my smash attempts result in me getting shot, punched, stabbed or supered midair and dying before I can do any damage. Trying to get close enough to pull it off can be really hard and your targets have to be bunched up and not paying attention. But, that's part of the fun. :)

I'm a lvl 9 Hunter right now and I really like this game. I've just unlocked Venus and am progressing through the missions while avoiding Crucible because I'm just not really into it.

I have some questions though!

Are there things I can do to make sure I'm leveling up in the most efficient way possible? I mean aside from Crucible?

I have a couple of friends at lvl 20 and I really want to catch up to them so we can eventually do the raid together. Does it help or hurt to take them with me on missions? Do I get less XP if they are along?

Also, that cave in Russia where people are just endlessly mowing down enemies; Does the XP I get from that make it worth doing for a while, or is it just useful for getting weapons? I'd imagine since the enemies are all around lvl 7 that eventually the XP will be nearly worthelss, yeah?

Thanks in advance!

Public events are difficult to do this bounty for, since you have to earn the killing blow. The easiest way is to go into patrol, go through The Devils Lair area, and kill that walker. Much easier than in the actual strike and usually nobody is there so you can easily get the last blow.

Good stuff here. Had no idea that walker would spawn if it wasn't during the strike.

Why though? Supers aren't even bad. The only one ive complained about is blade dancer cuz hes pretty much invincible. Me and 2 other team mates focused our fire on one the other day and still didn't take him down before he cut us to bits. The other supers are fine... and fun IMO. I laugh when I get Titan smashed then proceed to Nova bomb his ass once my warlock super is ready. Might as well just go play halo without the supers, it would be the same thing.

It's not so much that I hate the supers themselves... I just hate how often they occur. Every single player can get 2+ supers a match. It's just ridiculous if you're playing control IMO. If they didn't happen so often it wouldnt be so annoying.

Yes, all crucible today with one exception (kill 3 devil walkers).

This is wrong. There's a bounty for collecting 200 ether drops from fallen as well as killing 200 fallen with headshots, in addition to the devil walker one. App won't show this, you actually need to be in game to see them for some reason.

Why am I still playing? It scratches an itch I haven't felt since I played WoW. Plus I've beaten all of my other PS4 games. I just want some exotic gear and I think I'll satisfied until the next DLC/whatever. I wish there was a true social hub. Weird running around the tower and ot being able to communicate with anyone aside from pointing and dancing. Sometimes preventing someone from kicking the ball over the ledge.

It's a loot drug. That's the only reason people are still playing.

So me and my fellow Titans need to pray that Xur has the Saint Helm with him this weekend. That helm looks insane.

Helm_of_Saint-14.jpg

I'm definitely praying for a Titan Helmet... was one coin short last week and didn't have time to play Friday or Saturday so I missed out.

How much was that rocket launcher that xur was selling last week?

17 Coins, the rifle the week before was 23.

Anyone on PS4 want to run the Queens Wrath missions? They're fun, but soloing them doesn't always work so well and it's more fun playing with new people anyways.

Yeah I figured as much. Here's to hoping bad Juju isn't terrible

Most people seem to think it's terrible. I did too. But i'm starting to think that maybe it can be usefull. I don't have any upgrades yet. But i believe that with the stability mods this gun may be fun to use. Let's see. The small magazine will always remain an issue though.

I did the 25 strikes through the vanguard playlist. Level 24! Took me two days spread across 4 sessions iirc. It was fun. But of course there are easier ways to do it.

I'm starting to realize that farming the cave is only really valuable for a couple things.

1. getting blues when you hit 20 so that you can start worrying about legendaries

2. a decent place to level up your weapons/class

After that farming mats and doing dailies is way more productive at least in between doing strikes and raids.

It's just gambling but at the very least you'll level up the Cryptarch very easily.

I wouldn't recommend people use it as a way to get legendaries but now that I'm all legendaried and exoticed out I'll go there when I don't feel like doing anything else.

Last night I was there 30 min and got a pretty sick solar element legendary fusion rifle from a legendary engram.

Just keep playing. Whatever suits you -- whether it's the story, crucible, strikes, whatever. You'll get to 20 faster than you think.

Doesn't hurt to take them on missions. I think the game scales down the damage they do so it's not a pure cakewalk. XP is individual, so you won't lose out at all.

Useless for you at this level. This should only really be done once you've hit the 20 level cap and need legendaries to progress.

Thanks in advance!

Above!

Nah, that XP is pretty good up until lvl20.

Hmm, seems like I have to level the other classes to get the achievements. That will take too much time away from my main. Darn.

What damage I need to that new Nightfall? And which Strike it is based?

I believe it's solar.

I'm doing the Nightfall tonight around 5:30 or 6pm Central. Got one other guy involved if you want to roll with us.

I'm a level 26 hunter but may get to 27 by then as I'm just missing relic irons to level up my legendary/exotic armor.

To that point - where is the best spot to get relic irons? Patrol on Mars and just see what happens?

Some gaffers and I came so close to completing the weekly strike last night. It was pretty hectic but I had fun the whole time.

What's the strategy others are using? We had him to 20% but then the axis Minotaur killed the dude kiting it and we all died.

Two people dropped inexplicably during the Archon priest fight. Took me close to 20 minutes but I cheesed it solo for his last 25% health, hiding near the entrance to the encounter. The damned stealth vandals are tougher than he is.

god i hate that kind of bounty, i dont use revolvers and just a couple of days ago i got a legendary sniping rifle which only use in pve because they are so op (and it is easier to kill AI rather than human players lol)

also how can you play that bounty with her shaders and stuff when the event only has one day to begin with? unless, if you help people to do it do you get their rep as well even if you finished all your bounties?

Thanks, hope he has a good primary rifle this week.

Patrol on mars and do some missions while youre at it. Locate the scablands and go in all the underground spots and collect the chests. Youll also see plenty of it lying around to collect.

In my opinion, which isn't worth much, the cave is ONLY good for XP. If you're looking to get to 20 quickly, just go camp there for a while. In terms of getting good loot/weapons/armor, get up to 20 and then start rolling on the strike playlist and any weeklies or dailies at level 22. You'll start to rank up fast. I'm at 26 now and it didn't take that long to accumulate everything I needed.

Hahahaahah what the fuck? That's awesome.

Wasn't in my fireteam or anything. Later I invited him to beat a Queen mission.
It was like he was stuck in a portal, went on for minutes.

No idea what it looked like on his end.
Don't know if it helped, but I meleed him and..he popped out?

I am defeated. I have put an ungodly amount of time into this game (3 days, 13 hours) and I've gotten 3 exotic weapons outside of bounties and Xur. All 3 have been the same rocket launcher, Truth.

I don't even have time to explain the odds of that.

Hey, make it 4 of the same rocket launcher.

We completed it last night. Fuck those Axis Minotaurs up the ass. Frustrating.
