I scored that at the cave yesterday and then proceeded to use it to pop 100 fallen heads for that queens bounty. Very satisfying. Pop, pop, pop, it was a fucking headshot-a-palooza.

Tickets are consumed at mission end, when you roll for your legendary. So you can continue going to orbit for a new mission as long as you want. Most people wait til they get the Cosmodrome mission, Restoration.(if they re-roll anyway. If I had a party I'd just do whatever comes up, but I did that plenty yesterday lol)

I've been rocking the Lord High Fixer hand cannon for a while now and I really like it. Should I drop the Thorn bounty? I keep hearing it's not very good.

I was hyped about getting it, but am kinda disappointed with it. It only carries six rounds and doesn't have a very high Impact rating. I just unlocked the DoT upgrade, but it's kinda lackluster. I love hand cannons, though: I'll collect and upgrade all the exotic ones.

Okay, the exotic bounty for the Fusion Rifle, where you have to dismantle 10 blue fusion rifles...

Is there a trick to this at all?

My wife has had this bounty for over 10 days now, and she's made it up to 3/10.

I've been checking the gunsmith but that bastard just isn't giving anything up. I feel bad because not only is she barely making progress, but she also has 1 less slot for her bounties to work on at a time.

Yup, easily my favorite Scout Rifle. Was my primary until I got my purple handcannon but I still like to use it.

I still prefer my flame band from the Vanguard over anything the Speaker has. I think the warlocks got a bit hosed in his offerings. Some of those hunter capes look sweet.

Only other thing you can do is farm the Cave and hope you get some engrams to turn into fusion rifles, and even then that will take forever. It's just a shitty bounty. I'm only on 2/10 myself.

Used this throughout the nightfall and weekly heroic last night to level it up a bit (despite my preference for hand cannons)

it's quite excellent. Once I unlocked the accuracy while crouching upgrade it became a headshot generator.
 
2 questions,

- how and where do I get the vanguard items? I used the code on ps store but didn't see anything in-game.

- how do I get the playstation exclusive weapons/armors? I assume that the rest is already there.
 
Felt super cheap, but for the Queen's PVP bounties (20 Handcannon headshots/20 Scout Rifle headshots), I just went into Rumble with 3 friends & we just took turns shooting each other.

Oh well.
Fuck handcannons anyway.

1. The Vanguard vendor starts to sell them once you are level 5. Each item is 250 glimmer. There's a level 5 and level 10 variant (once you hit level 10). They're not the greatest guns, but he helmet is actually ok if you haven't found anything better. The vanguard vendor is in the ship hanger, near the lady that sells ships and sparrows.

2. Random drops.

I (finally) got the exotic bounty for Invective. The one for Super Good Advice has been promptly trashed. (still working on Pocket Infinity)

They don't all have that mod. The one bought from the quartermaster doesn't. That said, I bought one earlier and I like it so far. Looking forward to the Firefly upgrade the bought one has, enemies explode if killed by a headshot.

The bought one comes with Final Round instead of Take A Knee. I would rather have Third Eye than Firefly, though. Radar when aiming is always a nice addition...

Ah mine was a Vanguard reward so I figured it was the same as the one for sale. Take a Knee seems really good for it.

So I hung back and found a safe spot to take sniper shots at the dudes head which eventually led to me running out of ammo a few times, loading a synth clip, unloading and then having to wait and making my friends wait until the cooldown period was up. Just plain old annoying all around.

Killed that boss with that method though. Good times.

Somebody said they work in multiplayer oddly enough. Maybe that is why.
 
I finally decided to check out the infamous Cave. It was kind of stupid fun for a while. Since I don't have much Rare gear to begin with, it was kind of a fruitful use of time and I upgraded 4 pieces from uncommon to Rare. There were also 2 public events that made things interesting. I'll check it out a few more times before moving on.

I think all exotic bounties involves completing multiple objectives before getting the reward. You'll get another bounty once you'll complete this one. (the 2 exotic bounty i got were like that)

Don't hate me for having a MIDA and a Proxima Centauri II. They're the only good loot the game has given me - still grinding to 24 though I did finally reach Vanguard level 2.

Just keep playing and wait for them to drop from engrams.

Either that or use the mobile app to check the vendor inventory every 3 hours, ready to login whenever necessary when he has one.

we did two kill order's last night that were different missions and a friend of mine got the same chest plate for each one. it's just destiny trolling people again.

I sat down behind the guys who started the shooting spree, prepared dinner, came back to do the public. And apparently had 2 legendary engrams in the cave that Rahool turned into dogshit anyway.
