Well the grind for ascendant shards is feeling pretty damn real to me now.

Not sure I really want to continue grinding out the bounties + daily challenges just so that I can upgrade my gear.

The raid is fun, but it's not enough to get me excited about reaching max level :/
I wish I knew what was coming in the future...


Bungie made the grind for upgrading gear way too exhausting. I wish there was more of an emphasis on finding new gear than upgrading one set of items.
 
Why can't I find any public events? I was at the farming cave for like an hour without any events popping (except the hordes of guys that come out of that building randomly)

All legendaries that don't come from a vendor work this way.(even drops etc of legendaries that can be bought from a vendor are rolled randomly like this, which means some vendor legendaries have superior versions out there)

The far right column, all 3 upgrades are damage, damage, damage.
Normally when you upgrade down they are different things.
 
Finally got to level 28. 29 is feasible for now. I do desperately need to finish my "dismantle 10 rare or better fusion rifles" as I'm sick of that holding a spot ransom.

All legendaries have pure damage upgrades at the end. That column isn't a single upgrade column, all three damage upgrades count. Legendary armor does the same with defense(and light).

Just finish the Queen's event to get a Legendary gears and dismantle it... two or three ascendant shards.

Yeah, I felt REAL bad disassembling that for some upgrade materials... At least I'm closer to level 28 now.

Wish more people were on my friends list to help me with the Queen's bounties. I don't have enough energy variety in my weapons, ugh. That's what I get for scrapping stuff instantly.

Seems to be what happens when no one questions anyone else at a company. Too many years of complacency. These are basic things that they did not have to do their own research for, just look at what other companies have done, and avoid pitfalls. A lot of really bad design choices for no real reason. Good thing they nailed the combat or no amount of good will would have saved them.

Hell yeah, it was lots of fun. Fuck those minotaurs!

We beat it without jumping down, just kiting the minotaurs inside the cave with one guy on the other side, then dpsing the nexus as soon as we caught a break.

Yeah, now that you mention it, MS pushing them to do Halo really made them do their best in that. And yeah, it's a major difference that Activision is giving Bungie free reign, and Bungie themselves have said how excited they are to have this much freedom...and what happens? 5 years for this ._.

If the combat didn't feel satisfying, I would've dropped this along time ago. I might actually pick up the new Borderlands...if it wasn't for that godawful oxygen mechanic.
 
Goddddd dammit. I finally found one, couldnt freaking find it, and then got there as it disappeared. Is there a video showing where these appear and when? I literally spent an hour and a half looking for one for this god damn bounty.

Aside from a bunch of Ascended Energy (which I actually need tbh) I got the raid gloves and the fire scout rifle. Gonna try that out with this weeks Nightfall even though I've done it already. Should wreck hard.

I probably would have gotten Chatterwhite but my Shaders inventory was full up, so it gave me the Raid Ship 'Glass Minuet' instead.

Not bad.
 
After facing a buddy playing as Sunsinger in rumble, I've come to the realization that class really is OP as fuck. Dat solar grenade. Dat melee. Dat ignite. Dat resurrection. If I ever get armor for other classes, that shit is getting dismantled. Why would I ever want to play as those lessors? Your faves can't even.

Found one what? I'm kind of lost here lol.

The only thing that comes to mind is the Devil Walker? If so, go patrol cosmodrome and go to the spot where it is in the strike. It'll be there in patrol, too. Just kill it, orbit and repeat.

Edit: Or maybe public events? If so, yeah there are some guides. Devil Walker spawns at x:15 and x:45, skywatch events happen at x:00 and x:30, always either a warsat or the fallen hive war(which doesn't count, but worth noting). And some others. They're in 30 minute intervals on various maps.

Don't forget all the running away and "oh shit oh shit" yelling. Did a lot of that too.
 
I am a bit late to Queen's party, I dont understand one thing.

Queen's bounties say I have to equip queens cape in order to complete them and I need rank 2/3 to buy things from her. How do i get the queens rep?

That's only one bounty and it's impossible. The others will work. And the only way to get rep is the bounties.

Thats one of her bounties, don't pay attention to that one, since you just started. Do other bounties from her. When completed turn them in like you would to any other bounty except when you turn hers in you get like a ticket which can let you do a mission for her. Once the mission is complete you get a legendary armor piece. Also her missions have modifiers so read them and plan ahead.
 
I got a Blacksmith Shader code today but it's 1 digit too long for PSN and 4 too long for Bungie.net. How on earth am I supposed to redeem this?
 
It is strange to see so many mistakes in this game.

Want to do that bounty? Haha, can't be done.
Want to upgrade that stuff? Haha, the mats don't exist.

Like, what the fuck?
