Each time you beat a 'boss' in the Raid you get a shot at getting Raid gear, once you beat the Raid there's no point in doing it again until the next weekly reset as you won't get any gear, but you can still help out your buddies. ;-)

Yeap... last patch.

Summary:
The latest patch for Destiny reduces the difficulty of a number of activities, as well as fixes issues when completing the Vault of Glass.

Activities

Missions
Shrine of Oryx: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Sword of Crota: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Exclusion Zone: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers

Raids
Dropping the relic at the end of the raid will no longer result in a team wipe. This will prevent players being stuck at a black screen after the raid
You will remain dead if you were dead when the mission ended. That will be addressed by a future patch

Armor
Hunter armor purchased from FWC has been changed to use the correct upgrade materials

Man when it finally comes time to upgrade my legendary gear, I have ZERO spinmetal.

I could have sworn I picked up TONS of f****** spinmetal throughout this whole game and you're telling me I have NONE??

You can still do the level 30 variant to get a chance at new stuff. Better be a team of 29's though.

Upgradepath for The Last Word makes it the best Hand Cannon. Range is pretty good with stock sights. Impact isn't highest but who needs high Impact when you can rapid fire and reload so quickly? Damage and Stability boosts will make it insanely good at hip firing, all while further boosting the damage on Precision Hits.

Will keep my older Hand Cannon "Lord High Fixer" in case I get an Exotic Special or Heavy I want to use for some reason.

I am so very unsure what to do with my Armour however. My Chest Piece doesn't have any good for Gunslinger. If I got a good Exotic Chest piece I would upgrade my Helmet. If I got a good Helmet I would change my Chest piece for a Legendary. Hmm.

Should be noted that the hard mode counts separately, so you technically can do it twice in a week, but hard mode is legitimately harder haha. We tried last week, just to see what we could do. Level 30 mobs are evil and there was no option to respawn on death x.x

There isn't an option to respawn on death in normal mode to begin with.
 
I luckily don't have to worry about class items not matching since this warlock bond likes to randomly change color when it loads into areas for some reason.

In any case, it's been a while since I posted anything in here, so I'll make this quick:

This game literally wants to keep me at Level 21 forever. My sanity is about to run out. I think I need help.

The only thing that comes to mind is the Devil Walker? If so, go patrol cosmodrome and go to the spot where it is in the strike. It'll be there in patrol, too. Just kill it, orbit and repeat.

Edit: Or maybe public events? If so, yeah there are some guides. Devil Walker spawns at x:15 and x:45, skywatch events happen at x:00 and x:30, always either a warsat or the fallen hive war(which doesn't count, but worth noting). And some others. They're in 30 minute intervals on various maps.

Skywatch is where the farming cave is right? I was there for an hour and nothing spawned.

Makes sense, yeah. I'll probably never do the Hard Mode Raid but as you said, doing a harder difficulty Raid would provide another set of gear, just like doing harder Weekly Strikes gives you extra Strange Coins.

Odd. Every time I've gone since they made them more frequent, at x:00 and x:30 without fail either warsat or the battle has happened. Perhaps there's just a low chance of it not happening then. I know some others don't happen on occasion.
 
Is the Chatterwhite shader a guaranteed drop from the raid boss? Everyone in my fire team got it except me. However, I did get the legendary ship, does it replace the shader? Or are you supposed to get the shader and an additional loot?

same thing happened in my squad. One guy got the ship, others got the shader.

I got the shader both times :/
