RNG brah. That's the answer to everything. Events are not always on time, run up to 5, sometimes even 10 minutes late. And there is a chance nothing will spawn. Just keep running the list. Yesterday only the event in the forgotten shore would spawn for me, while in the afternoon nearly everything spawned.
 
Completed my 3rd solo queen's mission last night and netted this legendary sniper rifle:

It seems that there's at least a small amount of common sense with the loot received from doing these queen's wrath missions. I was only short of a legendary helm and secondary weapon to complete my set and after 3 missions I had both. If only the rest of the game was as generous.

Just another 4 of them to do. If anyone fancies giving me a hand I'll be online from 9pm UK tonight.
 
I just hit rank3 Vanguard and the game gave me Dr. Nope, an auto rifle. I was looking for a replacement so it worked out great except for one problem

I'm ready for Xur tomorrow, 32 strange coins. Can buy whatever weapon and armor he throws my way. Pls be good.

Just 4 motes of light away from an exotic engram too, but I'll probably go for a Titan mark from the Speaker this or next week.
 
Finally got my first legendary (helmet) for my hunter on lvl24.

Upgrading this thing is going to be a hell... So many helium filaments.. . Ugh!

That's what you think lol. Just a coincidence, play a few more and you will see it will only give you either, chest, helm, or a sniper and maybe a ship. That's it. Need legs or gauntlets (like me), then you're shit out of luck. There is no common sense in this game. Only RNG.

I got 3 Legendary Engrams today.

The evil ass Cryptarch turned them into 3 Rare items......

I'm sorry but the randomness of Engrams is straight up rediculous. You should ALWAYS get an item of that type. I can literally think of zero reason why someone should have a Legendary engram and walk away with a rare. Its unbelievably annoying.

I'm currently upgrading Universal Remote. At the minute it's just about average for a shotgun, but with the 2 extra range and 4 damage upgrades it's gonna kick some ass as my main primary.

Did you get Invective from a drop or bounty? I'm still waiting on my first exotic bounty to drop. Only 61 hours played.

Ah. I thought it was too much to ask for Bungie to actually have a fair loot system. Guess my luck was just in at the time. For the first time ever I can officially praise RNGesus for his glorious bounty.

That's because those are pretty much the only two drops. There is also a ship and a sniper rifle. The ship seems to be a bonus item you can receive, and the sniper rifle is the rare drop in the loot table. Over 18 or so clears that i have done i got 3 ships and haven't gotten the sniper rifle yet.

Edit- I wanted to add that most people are speculating that the drops are going to change for week 2 of the event because legendary queen's boots and gloves were data mined.
 
Haven't played for a few days, got on and want to try the queens mission...please tell me its not just some of the old content (like combined arms)...

you should be checking all the buildings/caves/ledges for loot chests. half of my mats come from those.

totally RNG. I received the same chest piece 4 times in a row.

The queen's mission is basically a daily story quest with one additional modifier, that awards legendary loot. There are maybe 5 different missions it will randomly assign you, all of which you have already done.

Depends on the weapon. I suspect it is 23 for a primary, 20 for a special and 17 for a heavy; we've seen primary and heavy so far at 23 and 17, but no special weapons yet.

thanks, best take a friend on this one, this mission is such bait and switch, the enemies outside are like level 2 but once you get inside, you get spanked and sent packing

I got about 3 sets each of the hood and robes.
Did get the Sniper..want the ship.
