Blue engram or higher, public events, crucible, and I've heard but can't confirm a very slight chance from dismantling but I doubt it.
But the first three for sure they're just rare.

Just put matchmaking for the daily story, heroic and nightfall strikes, incredibly stupid decision not to include them. This game needs more content fast, it's already becoming way to repetitive. And nerfing weapons that have been upgraded with hard earned ascendant energy is a joke.

So If I dont want any of the queens weapons or armor, is there any point in doing the Queens wrath missions or bounties? I was doing it for shards but if I can't get those anymore from dismantling the gear then I don't see any reason to return.

I love this game but I would be lying if I said it didn't annoy the shit out of me sometimes.

It is one of the only ways to play missions with modifiers, but it will offer little to no character progression.

Ok thanks. It sounds like they should still let you get 1 Ascendant shard from breaking down that Queen's Wrath gear, at least until they fix the rest of it.

Or better yet have some of the tougher bounties give an ascendant shard. Do something to make them more reliable. I'm not worried personally since these are easy fixes. Hopefully it's done sooner rather than later though.

Or they could get more fun with it. I notice some enemies jump through the air. Kill 3 of them, get an ascendant shard. Kill X enemies in Y seconds, get an ascendant shard. There's lots of fun things they could do I'm sure.

Especially when you see the staggering number of them required to level up your gear. I spent the last 3 days grinding Queen's Wrath for shards, I think total I got like maybe 60 of them. Even with that many, I didn't max out any of my legendary armor. Though I guess I could have if I'd have saved it all for one or two pcs. I just kinda upgraded as they became available.It takes a lot of shards. And I don't even have an exotic yet!

Your first part was kinda supposed be Destiny, instead we got what we got.
The second part sounds good, but we do not want too much loot out there... at least not until the expansion pack is ready for sale.

The Reef could be their way of introducing new weapon types and subclasses. Think of it like the remains of the Golden Age trapped in space. More unique weapon types, more subclasses, more gear with new attributes. They could add new things like "Only enough oxygen available to complete the mission in x minutes" or "Watch out for solar winds". They could make it so the Queen's legion attacks you with an insane fleet of you are caught in her domain. Have it so an assassin is sent into your game when this occurs.

It absolutely boggles my mind that anyone thinks sitting in front of a cave entrance farming re-spawning enemies is fun.

I don't see how running the same handful of boring instances with samey bullet sponge bosses is fun either but here we are.

Nice, welcome to the fun club. Woke up at 4 am last weekend to buy the rifles (Checked the app on a whim) and finished it in an hour or so after. She's one upgrade from being done, it's as sweet as you think it is.

Have fun trashing everyone in crucible. It's like having rockets at all times or something. Love this weapon.

I'm glad Shadows of Mordor is just around the corner. I really dislike what they have done recently. First the glimmer farming trick got "fixed" and now this. I used the glimmer trick to buy ammo packs for the raid.

I will continue playing Destiny all weekend long but once SoM is out, Destiny is going on a break till Iron Banner.

The fusion rifle is a lot harder to use than the shotgun, to be honest. Charging too early/late gets you wrecked easily and you have to line up the bolts since it isn't a single shot.

I do Ember Cave runs on Venus all the time. This usually happens to me when I get 3 or 4 chests in 5 mins or so. I see hook ups like that about 1 out of every 20 chests. I've gotten 2 blues in one, and a legend in one once. The materials are almost always in the 10's for sweet chests like the one mentioned.
