Sorry for your loss, enewtable. I know how it feels to lose a pet you're close to. He looks like he was a great dog, and surely had a great life, which is the most important thing.

I have three cats: Hobo, a 19 pound treat addict and suck; Fred, a female cat my little cousin named who is always around my bed and headbutts me/swats my nose if I ignore her; and Meow, a four year-old tortoiseshell who loves to lay on me.
They're all really good pets, and all were either strays or born from a stray.

^^ Really sorry to hear about your dog. Must be crap, but you gave him a good life by the sounds of it, so that's something to always remember

Mine favorites the PS3. I have to get her off or the fan starts kicking in full blast. It was cute, but the long term effects might be harmful.

My calico cat is obsessed with me. She's always running upstairs when I go up, bugging me for attention and is essentially my alarm clock sometimes. If I go to bed exhausted, I get headbutts from her until I pet her for a bit. And if I ignore her, she takes her paw and taps me on the nose once or twice. Then, when I pet her she gets so excited that she drools and sometimes shakes it all over me when she shakes her head as cats do.
It's cute and I like it, but not when I'm half-asleep.
She's a bit crazy though, and doesn't use the litter. Instead, she poops on the basement floor which is concrete. Drives my dad crazy. Two of our cats, her included, also pee in bathroom sinks.

A beautiful cat. It looks a lot like our's.
We got our cat one year ago from a pet shelter. It is a crossbreed from Russia - with a lot from a Norwegian forest cat and approx. 7 years old by now. Talks a lot and is very sociable and gentle. The nicest cat I have ever encountered:
Odd thing, though, is that he likes to lick plastic bags.
