lol i didn't believe it the first time i saw it, but you can in fact win a skirmish game by jumping off the map and reviving your teammates.

I'm salty as hell now that I dropped the 3 Crucible wins bounty earlier. Dropped it because none of my friends want to play Crucible at all anymore, and it kept matching me with randoms who were just trying to get the Fusion Rifle and Sniper bounties so they were playing like garbage. Fuuuuuuuuck
Fusion Rifles need the Nerfbomb dropped on them as well if Bungie are so intent on messing with Shotguns.I still needed the cave thirst, my hours are nowhere near yours homie haha...
I've clocked in less than 34(I blame nagging clients and events for this lol).
After reading the patch notes, I actually like all the changes, they could have buffed pulse rifles and nerfed fusion though.... now PvP will be even more fusion death and my Shingen-E won't be as awesome.
It's the mentality of a kid that just went off to college and left his parents house for the first time. Straight A student has freedom and drinks his way to a shit grade.
Also, why the fuck are people in crucible so stupid. It does not take a tactical wizard to understand certain control points are bad and to understand enemies that die try to respawn further away from where you are. Why do I keep getting idiots that rush towards A on Blind Watch when we have B and C, and then cap it. makes no sense.

A few days ago i did Vault of Glass. Got to Atheon, and then the next day the group finished without me. I was under the impression that progress is only saved for the leader, but when i enter Vault of Glass now it puts me at Atheon. Does this mean that if I find those same 5 people that I got to Atheon with, and who later cleared it without me, that as long as I'm the leader, they can also do Atheon again? Will they also still get loot again if so?

Everyone good already uses fusion rifles. Plan C? Most OP gun in the game, the 1-hit kill range is insane.
yeah... the death of the shotgun is going to mean the fusion rifle is gonna reappear stronger than ever.
not that i'm mad, i miss fusion rifle duels a bit but combined with blink... eek. i just hope this all happens around the time of iron banner for maximum salt output

When I can top the scoreboard in a match. I'm fucking terrible at pvp in first person shooters. I have no problems admitting this. But I definitely destroyed last night in three games.
And got nothing in the rewards all three times.

What bungie doesn't understand is, that as long as you can spawn with a load of ammo for secondary weapons...you're probably going to want to use those weapons first.
The shotguns are fine as they are. If you didn't start out with it. Except now they're just going to do a blanket nerf.
Like the loot issue, Bungie is just nerfing without knowing why they should be nerfed. "Shotguns are strong."->"Why?"->"Because you start out with them."->"Let's just nerf shotguns then."
Then the Fusion Rifle will start being used, and they'll probably nerf those soon...and then sniper rifles...
Did you do it organically by just doing whatever strikes, or did you pick a short one and repeat? I have this stupid bounty as well lol

I think Bungie should make it if legendary armor is fully upgraded and dismantled you get half your shards back. This would promote messing around with armor at a slight cost. As it stands, no one would want to dump a fully upgraded armor due to shard loss.
On another note, the more I play the more I appreciate the sound effects and music in this game. Marty did a fantastic job.

i think the issue with shotguns stems entirely from the shotgun/melee combo. making people choose between one or the other may ease a few problems but its still... i don't know. not sure what their aim is on that issue just yet

It would make sense to do that if Bungie was interested in making a game with systems that are fair to the player. But no, they want us to play the grinding for every little thing in their game.
Cutting their ties with Marty was a serious mistake. The music in this game is one of the best things about it. Maybe they should have fired those 10 writers that clearly spent the last four years scratching their balls and picking off their boogers.
So anyone know what's up with the white door/barrier in the black garden? The one right before you begin the final descent towards the boss, if you keep going past the stairs and to the right? There are no enemies and it clearly leads somewhere. It launches you backwards if you try and get near it. Probably something Bungie hasn't finished yet, but unlike other "unfinished" areas like the recently discovered one, it is very obviously blocked off for future content.
