I had this issue a few days after launch. Kicked out almost every game. I just cycled my router and it went back to normal. No problems since. Worth a try!

I'm lvl25 and working on that at the moment. My method has involved rushing to the restricted respawn point then taking out as many enemy as possible before they drop me, rinse and repeat.
Never been able to clear that first area yet, get smashed hard.
Only 140 kills to got though........Gun better be worth it.
I don't get why it has to kick you back to orbit when you die though? Why not just respawn you right back at the start?

Yeah, you came across that spawn area right when the War event started. It's not technically a Public Event but it's one where the Hive and the Fallen start spawning in huge numbers and battle each other in the field. As it goes on longer, it spawns stronger and stronger enemies.

Yeah, non-raid legendaries cap out at 27 light fully upgraded. You get a bit of light every time you fill in one of the "Upgrade Defense" skills. Not sure about raid stuff.
i'll see if i can be on. i need stuff to do while i wait to raid again lol
i dunno man, i have fun in crucible. unfortunately, there's little incentive for me to do it now that I'm trying to max out this raid gear to do the heroic VoG.

guaranteed Legendaries for scrubs like me who can't buy or get them any other way yet.
Doesn't some text pop up when that happens though? Like "the enemies are stirring" or "the war is beginning" or something... Never saw it pop up here.

It's easily doable solo. Just get some solar sniper rifle and kill The Nexus from the cliff.
You can afk though...what is the problem?
You can play other games or browse GAF, a win-win to me.

It is a good way for people to acquire epic helmets and chests if they do not already have them.
It came a week too late for many as people have already got their epic gear.

I got my first legendary chest and helm from it. Hoping I'll get that ship before the end, too!

I love the game and all in the sense that I find it really beautiful to look at and the action feels good but the loot is pretty disappointing.
Not enough variety for me, I guess. Even the shaders could be more diverse and have cool variants to them. There's really no way to set yourself completely apart because most people have the same look and almost all of the armor is near-identical to the last.
Exotic gear is cool but still, there isn't much variety for a game this scale. The repetition of such a overall small section of planets is catching up to me too. Such a damn shame.
I don't know. Might be a dumb gripe compared to all of the other problems with this game. They really need to reward us when we beat a boss or a a high-difficulty strike better.
Anyway, I really don't want it to get into Borderlands territory of "ALL OF THIS LOOT IS CRAZY" because it takes away that special feeling of finding something cool but I can't help but think upping the amount of variation in loot (armor designs, creative shaders, etc) at least from rares to exotics and upping the number drops even a little bit for the player once they hit a certain level or whatever vanguard/faction rank. Upping the drop rates would not be bad if there were more different types of guns and armor (of course, the whole loot system needs fixing so maybe I'm off base here). Maybe even a personal customization feature at level 30? Something!
Again, there's a lot that needs fixing and a lot of ways this game could be so much more awesome. This is just something I've been thinking about. I've put so many hours into this game and I really do enjoy it but when looking at it's potential I can't help but feel a little down on it.
I'm FINALLY close to ranking up in Vanguard and have enough to buy the two pieces of armor I need to have all legendary items. I'll also be able to buy my first exotic in the morning. So, that's exciting.
I am really anxious to try the raid but me and my friend don't have enough people to do it with so I might resort to asking for people here to join in once we are ready. I'm just a little self-conscious about my skill and the raid is a whole new thing for me so I'm a little nervous about playing with people I don't know. We shall see how things go!
I really hope this game improves for the better because I really am enjoying it overall but it's hard to defend it, honestly.

Right because despite fusions already being ridiculously powerful most people shy away from charge up weapons and shotguns and autorifles can still do work. With this update it can change all that. Fusions could become the most viable option for a lot of situations.

Well, I'm 1 Ascendant Shard from 28 and I would have had it if Bungie hadn't nerfed the Queen shit so I'm not really going to do strikes ever. I'll farm Public Events to get the Vanguard Marks, do my daily Heroic, and once a week do the Nightfall and Raid and that will be all the play I need until the expansion is released.
