The shotguns are fine as they are. If you didn't start out with it. Except now they're just going to do a blanket nerf.

Like the loot issue, Bungie is just nerfing without knowing why they should be nerfed. "Shotguns are strong."->"Why?"->"Because you start out with them."->"Let's just nerf shotguns then."

Then the Fusion Rifle will start being used, and they'll probably nerf those soon...and then sniper rifles...

Are you shocked by this? This is a company that shows time and time again they don't know what they're doing in pvp. The people responsible for halo 1/2 are long gone.

Nerfing the auto rifles makes the sniper and fusion options insane now. Absolutely fucking insane.

just the thought of blink/charging makes me uncomfortable

but you can still charge the FR on the way down just fine. one thing i'd like them to do is to ease up the accuracy penalty on single shot weapons in the air a bit. handcannons should favor the mobile. let those guys shine.

I hope he's taking in the view above the ship hanger off the right as you go down towards DO and FWC lounge areas. Very NYC dime bag dealer style.

With the single exception of fusion rifles being neglected, I'm very pleased with what Bungie are saying about weapon balance. Admittedly, there are other balance issues I'd like to see them address (arc blade, for a start), but it's an impressive statement of intent.

Big question, particularly with auto rifles, is if they go far enough. Auto rifles are always going to be the weapon type with the lowest skill ceiling, so they should be aggressive here. If they go a bit far, then auto rifles will still be used by less skilled players.
 
Uploading my video. Found a room that had 10 guys spawning every 5 seconds for almost 3 minutes.

The hell, I got signed out of Destiny for being AFK for 5 minutes?

So according to Bungie's recent posts apparently buffs are coming to Thorn and Bad Juju? Finally my buyer's remorse from fully upgrading my Thorn might end! It's way too good looking to have such problems.

Less skilled players? Bro, you're going to get outgunned by any gun in the game by the good players. It doesn't matter what it is.

I hate this mentality: so what do you want exactly ?! Hand cannon wars? snniper battles ? If the pulse rifles become powerful all the good players will just use that.

This nerf everything mentality is so obnoxious the way it perpetuates throughout online shooters. The only things that ever need nerfing are 1 shot weapons like the fusion rifle and even some of the higher end snipers in this game.

Being plucked without even a fighting chance is annoying. Also, nerfing arc, which is by far the funnest class based thing in this game will just make that class underpowered considering the rest of the characteristics are weaker

Rogue is good people to have about. We had a silent understanding for an hour or two before we finally started messaging each other.

Why oh fucking why bungie... is the group/local chat not day 1 in the box default???
 
Love loosing a crucible match that we were going to win slow and steady because some idiot decided to grab A instead of defend. Control should only be concerned with control not kills.
 
Tried giving hand cannon bounty a try, quit after two matches. The scout rifles are a godsend compared to this! Maybe I need to find an exotic before this is viable, but my god are they underpowered for the type of rate of fire and stability penalty you're taking.

Zmas auto rifle helped out a fuck ton inside the portals. Its all thanks to him taking out those oracles as fast as he did that we could beat that last part.

Yup, same people will bitch and complain until their favorite weapon is top and everyone is using it. It does not matter if they nerf AR's, something else will take their place, but oh if its scouts or pulse rifles it won't be as bad. Pfff, people will gravitate to whatever weapon is the best and then it will just turn into wars with that weapon.
 
getting a lot of error messages kicking me out of the game. everything was smooth till last night. is this happening to a lot of people or should i look into my end?

I got a legendary auto rifle finally the other day. Then Bungie announces nerf, FML. I don't even really play god damn pvp and they gonna nerf my pve shit.

Balance them seperate since all the weapons are equalised anyway in pvp ffs.
