Destiny |OT5| New patch out Tues., Master Rahool reportedly crying into his robes

Just downed Vault of Glass on hard mode, got a primary exotic fusion rifle "Vex Multicast" and the legendary sparrow. Pics later today
 
How long would say an average team takes to complete the raid? Hoping to try and get a GAF team together one night next week to try it.

5-6+ hours if its your first time going in blind. Less than 2 if you know what to do. Also you don't need to complete it in one sitting.

I'm in the UK so I was thinking one night around 8 PM GMT so I think that would be 9PM in western Europe. I don't know where we are with summertime at the minute. Probably Tuesday night.

As my time is limited with kids / work, I would be quite happy to play with a bunch of raid virgins and veterans to carry us through.

I'm a 27 Warlock right now.

The hardest part was getting to the templar, when he summons his legions hide and snipe the fanatics to move to the next phase. For the oracles we all posted up where the hobgoblins spawn and focused oracles down and killed the hobs as they spawned. Didnt even shoot regular adds. From their the only difference is more gorgons and getting detained during Atheon

Go figure, Blind Watch is perhaps my favorite map. Lots of opportunities for varied gameplay from sniping to close quarter combat with plenty of verticality to keep things interesting.
 
So you need to be equipped with all of the Queen's class items in order to complete the PvP bounties? I tried with a helmet, emblem and shader but I didn't get anything.

Too bad since gloves and boots doesn't seem to drop at all. :(

Not exactly. You can earn a total of 9 coins from the Heroic Weekly strike. 3 for the lowest diff, 3 for the next, and 3 for the highest. You can go straight to the hardest version and get 9 coins, or you can do a lower one then a higher one. Total coin reward is 9 no matter how many times you do it, just 3 coins per difficulty.

Ok, keep me informed. My brother is a lvl 27 hunter and would most probably be down for it. He is not a GAF member...
 
Found the mysterious gun for the machine gun exotic bounty and now I just have to wait for Xur...who I need to continue my pulse rifle exotic bounty. Life is good
 
Finally I have been feeling well enough to play tonight for longer than 20 minutes. I met some nice people along the way, but high level players took a lot of fun out of doing story missions. Forgive my ignorance, but why are lvl 20 plus players killing anything that moves in starter areas? At first I thought maybe they were power leveling friends, clan members, etc, but that wasnt the case, they were one or two shotting everything and it was tough to finish missions. It seems like bad design if Bungie put incentives in to camp starter areas at high levels.

Yet 90% of combat happens at B area.

sounds like Burning Shine should be your favorite map. It's head over heals better then Blind watch. With the same variety in gameplay. But with better map flow and design.

The problem isn't necessarily with the shotguns, although their range needs toned down for sure as do fusion rifles. The problem is they need to nerf the fucking RADAR.

Being able to know exactly where an opponent is, and even relatively how close to you he is (radar slice turns dark when he's close, circle turns red when you're nearly on top of him), makes it pretty damn easy for shotgun cheesers to just round a corner and pull the trigger without actually looking for you, hitting you square in the chest 90% of the time.

Radar needs to be switched to motion detector, not friggin know-where-everyone-is the way it currently stands.
