Actually, not sure where the "Fox can perform a move out of side b" came from. Just tried it for myself. You can't perform a move out of it.

Oh yeah tonight's going to be another Tourneylocator Smash 4 invitational tourney. Yay.

You can jump, though, which then let's you do Up B or you should also be able to do any other move once you jump.

This Robin design hate. I can't y'all. I can't.

Hate's a strong word, but I could extend my crotchety-ness to Awakening designs in general if ya like. :P

For a character that's supposed to be a brilliant, tactical, and organized mind, his outfit seems so incredibly haphazard. It's really sloppy looking.

That's unfair. He may be wearing pajamas but Robin is really trying to pull it together. He was shopping around his screenplay just last week. They said they'd be in touch.

I haven't heard that, just that it doesn't put you into freefall.

I know many people find the new stages underwhelming, I wont disagree, but the inclusion of Omega Mode Levels (Final Destination versions) has made up for that, in my opinion.

Omega stages are disappointing, because I wish they had platforms :( Not even battlefield clones, but a variety of formations of stationary platforms.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding then, because I can't seem to jump out of it either.

It does not put you into freefall, but neither does Ike's side b.

Now I understand. Ike's side b still puts you into freefall. Fox+Falco's side b does not.

I think you have to wait a whie for the side B to finish. But you're not in special fall like with up B. You have options other than just landing. At least that's what I heard.

I'm pretty sure you can do anything after the ending animation. I know I've seen people use up B after it, and I'm pretty sure I've at least seen people jump after Falco's.

Wait, people dislike Robin's design? Like, I get opinions and all that, but that has to be one of the worst opinions I've heard. Robin is so cool, from his badass cloak to his awesome white hair.

Thinking about it more, it's really his shirt, not his cloak that I dislike. A baggy v-neck with a high, popped collar? What is that?

I really like the TourneyLocator crowd. They're distinctly affable and nontoxic compared to other "pro" or high-level streams I've tried watching.

Something had to fill the fan shaped hole in our hearts...

At least, with the fan you actually had to go up to someone and physically hit them. With the gust bellows, you just stand there hold A, cover the edge, and blow everyone away by defying Newton's Third Law of Motion.

Even with the fan, most of the time I'd just throw it. Unless they were already beside me shielding or something.

It's cool that GAF seems to be cool with the Tourney Locator peeps. They're all my local Brawl buddies. Nice to know their personalities travel well through the internets.

actually the beetle is the worst

You can wiggle out of it. I haven't been killed by the beetle ONCE in the 2+ weeks i've been playing the japanese version. It's super easy to get out of.

I imagine if you're on one of the higher platforms of magicant, or near the top of the screen on some other stages, like punch out, it'll get you, but never ever at the bottom of the screen. Even the computer players wiggle out of it.

Any chance we'll see you on the stream one week? :)

Anyway, yeah. They all seem pretty cool.

So how long would it take to download the game with this connection

Depends if they move the tourney to Sunday or not. And also depends if I'm good enough to beat those stinkin regulars with my demo only knowledge.

I quite like the regular Tactician coat, but the Grandmaster uniform is kind of awful, especially the female variant. The moulded boobplate, unnecessary bare thighs / ugly loincloth, high heels and giant ribbon ruin it for me.
Oh, wow. I never upgraded to Grandmaster in any of my Awakening playthroughs (I always play as a female Robin), and now I'm glad I didn't.

Also, I never minded the tactician's design. The cloak was fine, but I always used a second seal on my unit so I was never exposed to it too much. It's not winning any awards, but it isn't bad.

my only complaint about Robin that she doesn't look like my Awakening Robin, something that could have been fixed so easily

It would have made more sense for Robin to get more costumes over Little Mac considering he is a customizable character.

Oh well, I guess they didn't want fans complaining about Fire Emblem bias now.
