Hey guys, quick reminder from a few days ago. Tonight at 7:00 PM PST, we're going to be testing out the TeamSpeak voice chat server we'll be using once the 3DS version comes out. If you want to help us test it out by playing Mario Kart 8 with your fellow GAFers, PM me or respond to this post and I can send you info on how to join. In addition to helping set things up for future voice chat, it should prove to be a lot of fun. We only have a few more spaces until we fill up the 12 slots provided by MK8, so let me know soon if you want in!

Also, this reminds me: The Great Gonzales, I have your FC in my 3DS, but you haen't registered me back, and you're my first round opponent in Batty's Smash Sisters tourney. My FC's on Oric's list, if you need it, or you can just PM, too.
I don't know who everyone is due to their 3DS Names differing than their GAF ones, but I know I have Pop-O-Matic, Hatchtag, Golnei, Smithnco, Miguel, Kriken, & Horizon, as well as several others who I don't quite know who they are; because you can put in names for people who you're registering, and those names stay up until they register you, it's easier to tell who hasn't registered me back than who has.

All I know is one of the matches in the japanese tournament, a yoshi took out shulk before we could even blink
I have a tooth infection and find it hard to concentrate on something that isn't the throbbing nerve pain in the entire left side of my face and due to a high tolerance to medication, most non-prescribed pain killers don't do anything, so I'm just waiting it out and taking amoxicillin to try and clear up the infection, which does work because I've used it before, but it also makes me sick in the process.
All of this because I tried opening a bottle with my teeth because my hands were greasy (cracked a tooth and pushed it into a previously root canal'd tooth, causing it to become lose and grow some kind of abscess), it fucking sucks.
Haven't even opened my 3DS for 2 days now, probably won't be able to do any for a while, I just can't think straight at the moment.

Hey, so NinjaLink just found a way to GUARANTEE you get custom moves or equipment on Classic Mode every time. Doesn't fix the duplicates problem, but still...this is huge!

Someone mentioned last night that the "custom" thing on the slot machine gives both custom moves and equipment, so you're still not guaranteed to get a move - and duplicates, as you say, are still a problem. It's better than nothing, though. Pause buffering ftw
Yeah, you get a lot more equipment than moves and duplicates are a real pain. You also get mii clothes and duplicates are even more of a problem there.
