Just wanted to take this post as a chance to put it out there that I'm ALWAYS open to someone just "joining" my party. I always feel weird inviting someone if they look like their doing something particular - story, strike, crucible. But I love it when people just drop in. Most of the time I'll drop what I'm playing and do whatever you want as well. I would rather play something I'm not quite into, than play alone.
PS, devilsadvocat, I still owe you one. Whatever you need to level up, I'll help!
You mean 200 head shots against fallen? That's pve, not pvp, although I agree they should get rid of it, it's been on every day

Shotguns in Crucible suck.
I love the Cryptarch. Dude gave me a Legendary fusion rifle for a blue engram yesterday.
Reads like my life.
Got a legendary hand cannon from a blue engram from cryptarch. Dude was cool with me.

Glad I'm not the only one. Sending and receiving invites/messages is slow as shit. From the time you get the notification and the time you can actually read the message, you can wait a lot. The mobile apps are just as bad, too.

it's basically deathmatch with an objective you can ignore until the last second and then disarm it. unless they have 3 bubble shields on it...
ya it's slow as hell. sometimes the share menu pops up 5 seconds after i press it and takes 5 seconds to switch back to the game.

I've been by myself a lot lately, I went into it with two randoms. Not wise, with no communication it went very badly.
Will try it again with friends, I may end up liking it.

Hmm, yeah that might be why. I only like Skirmish when I'm playing with people who know that we shouldn't all run off separately. Salvage is pretty much the same with an objective, so I probably should only play it with friends

It's great! Well, it's great for PVE. Well, not for bosses. Or enemies with shields.

It's pretty much due to the game being online all of the time. The system uses the bandwidth for the game first and everything else second. Yeah, it can be annoying, but understandable as well.
Yeah Salvage is great. Although I think right now Control is the best mode right now.

Has anyone tried running a Stock Suros Regime in PvP? The slow rof on the first upgrade is killing me. I'm thinking about buying a second from Xur to explicitly NOT upgrade.

Then I hooked up with Marvel and his buddy later in the day and we crushed it. Got the Suros Regime as a reward too!

It might take a little getting used to, but a slow rof Suros is still a beast. It'll be even better once you upgrade it further.
