"I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain," takes it for me. Partly for being awful and partly for being so infuriating.

At the end of the story mission when I wanted to say, "So. Do you have time to explain now? WTF what that all about?"

You got a free gun, that explains everything

That's honestly when I just completely checked out of any real attachment to the story. It just seems like someone must have made a huge X on a script then made a bubble on the side column with that line.
I complain, but I still like the game a lot.

I noticed that! People would get oh so close to getting 2-shotted by my big chief while others didn't. I switched to the silvered maverick for all the other gains and it drops in 3 headshots. I basically figured if 3 headshots required are most situations, I might as well get a better fire rate/stability/reload

Well, hunters are in the 2 shot camp regardless and they're the majority of players, so I stick with my Big Chief if I'm using a handcannon. Plus, at least if you're playing a team game, the oh so close crowd usually gets hit by stray auto-rifle fire before you have to fire a third shot.

how does raid progress work?, if i got upto the last boss with one group, and play with another, and select another leader, will my first progress be saved?

I think you can join anyone's raid at any part in their progression, but only the fireteam leader can start a fireteam from the position he ended on, if that makes sense.

ps4, Mr_antimatter, lv 24 hunter, pretty much down for anything right now. Really need to do some queens wrath stuff, if anyone is up for it, or the weekly strike.

The speed of pvp matches seems like the best way/chance to get loot. A strike could potentially last a long time and end up with a non upgrade anyways .

Well, we'll see how that changes once guaranteed rewards are added to Vanguard Tiger, Weekly and Daily.

Is sunsinger not the way to go in PvP, or does it take a while to get good abilities to make it worth it?

I'm 1.37 k/d ratio on my hunter over 140 games, but my warlock is getting destroyed.
Granted shes level 14, but I never struggled this bad on my hunter(who is gunslinger specc'ed, not blade dancer)

lol what? That's like the only decently cool bit of dialogue from that scene.

The silly thing is that he spends a whole lot talking about what he COULD tell you, and then proceeds to tell you nothing.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe that that was purposeful, as a way of keeping the guardian uninformed about something they shouldn't know. That seems to be a lot of the narrative. Literally every character you interact with says something to the effect of "You weren't here when shit went down, and I guess I could tell you but <blank". Three separate characters tell you that!

That seems wholly purposeful to me.

So, it seems like I need iron from Mars for my exotic AR. Time to play the "story" part of the game so I unlock Mars? Haha. I never imagined that I would play so much multiplayer in this game, since I've never been much of a multiplayer player.

firebolt grenade spam

Soundtrack's pretty good so far. A little over a quarter of the way in.

I love the soundtrack, but many times, I felt like the music sounded much more epic and bombastic than what was being displayed on the screen. I don't know, maybe it's because the boss fights have some of the most intense music in the game and they were a bit of a letdown to me due to them simply being giant, slow versions of regular enemies.

Have a friend who swears by Sunsinger that's above a 1.5. He used to go with the overshield super, but he's been using the revive to cut down people after they walk away from his corpse. And yeah, as the poster above said, spam nades. It's certainly the most skill based super though, but it can get almost as many kills as the bladedancer's super. Almost.

I enjoy my Sunsinger in Control for the ability to come back to life and the cool down for the grenades is insane, I am able to throw out 7 solar grenades in one and the melee that gives you a bonus shield comes in handy.

I feel like that lines like these would have been forgivable if the character had any depth beyond mysterious robot lady who doesn't even fight alongside you because that would require more complex interaction, than just stand here, talk, walk a little, and then disappear.

Would have made me think "ohhh okay, this is just a weird trait of hers that makes her talk weird."

"Evil so dark, it despises other evil." Oh robot lady, you're so crazy.

I think I enjoyed the story way more by being overleveled from multiplayer and just blasting through it. For Mars I think you unlock patrol pretty early, so you won't have to do too much story.

Yea I'm thinking it might be some kind of invisible sprint cooldown, but I swear sometimes I'm able to sprint back to back without any problems.

The way I imagine it is, there's an invisible Sprint Gauge-

Let's say it starts off at 100. Every time you sprint, it removes 25 from this gauge, but never depletes while actually sprinting. So if you click it twice in a row, it'll remove 50 before refilling. So if you click sprint enough, there will be a moment where you waste the whole gauge and you incur the invisible cooldown.

.....It's my theory anyways.

Heck, salvage in general sucks.

It's the best Crucible gametype! You gotta roll with a good team, though.

Had a pretty successful weekend.

Got my exotic helm and upgraded it almost all the way (need one more shard for the last upgrade).

Hit Rank 3 FWC and got their sniper rifle.
Hit rank 5 Vanguard and got some gloves, which got turned into shards.
Beat the Nightfall solo which was super fun.
Got Sunbreakers off a random engram I found while doing bounties.
Got my coin/mote count high enough that I can basically buy w/e Xur is peddling next weekend.

This coming week I should be able to nab some gloves that boost my scout rifle reload (from FWC) and be able to push that much closer to 29. Kinda torn on what to do with my vanguard marks going forward. Not sure if I should basically buy shards, get a weapon to possibly fill a dmg type or snag a new Sparrow.

Thanks all!
I decrypted a heart of Praxic Fire, which is why I started levelling a lock to begin with, figured Sunsinger would end up good for me.

I think I found a new "loot" cave on the moon. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere as of yet. It has a 6 sec respawn with 6-7 enemies. Farmed good for 25 mins. Had many people go by me being non the wiser besides 1 single person who decided to see what i was doing. I had to leave right after this other player started figuring out what was going on.

I´m pretty sure this is the case, it has to be some kind of sprinting cooldown.

Out of boredome i started my two alt Titans for Coins and Daily Materials

...i don't know if i'll be able to do it lol

Slow ass progression, wish the cave didn't get fixed as spawning goes (i'm using the Moon door but anyway)

I think you nailed it. A sprint gauge would make perfect sense for what I've experienced.

So if you complete the raid you can go back and do it again with a different fireteam leader who hasn't started, but not be able to get loot?

Confused.

Does it work like WoW or not?

Exactly. And when you run into a group with one sunbro, a blade dancer, and a defender titan, shit gets stupid unbalanced.
I don't find Sunsingers or Bladedancers particularly threatening. That Defender bubble shield is super annoying, though.
