Its OP as fuck and even i think it needs a nerf. Takes the fun out of PVP
Yeah it's the most OP gun in the game that we know of. Especially in PvP, as you say.

I'd like to run with groups more for sure, but it was awesome getting the Nightfall down. I expected the lead up to the boss to be far far worse. The captain in the first room is almost the worst part of the whole thing. That strike has so many choke points and spots for cover that it was way less daunting than I expected (having good solar weapons also didn't hurt).
I tried it with a couple friends earlier in the weekend and we did not do so hot. I felt like the enemies were easier to manage when I was by myself, things seemed far less frantic.
Is that only from the hard mode of VoG?Any one else get this gun from doing VOG..

How about an AI telling you: "I will work faster", you are a computer why aren't you always working your max? Urgh so much bad writing in this game, but I gotta get that loot.

Why 28? Is that the sweet spot to be able to run the Nightfall/Raid with more handily?

Funny I did just that and we still won. Of course we wer ethe sunbro,blade dance (Me) and he bubble titan. I just ran in the bubble and shanked him.
Whenever Bungie is asked why there isn't a story, I really hope they say that exact line.
I liked that line.
I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain would work if the situation was hectic. As it was, we're just chilling, relaxing, and she seems rushed....but we never find out why. So that's why it's bad.
I really wish we could have a fact finding interview / find out what went wrong. Sigh.

I feel like Defender Titans are so underused in PVP that it has actually become something of an advantage, It's like people don't fully understand the concept of the bubble shield.

Bubble shield is hilarious. I won a match for the team because I jumped into the enemy team, put down the shield and won two fist fights because I was getting extremely buffed inside the shield. For some reason people think the best thing to do is run inside and melee you. Wrong.

I know the feeling. My guaranteed multikill medal gathering technique is throwing a bubble shield down in the middle of a group of enemies in clash. They all think they can take me down if they gang up on me, but man does that overshield give you a boost.
People are starting to wise up to the power of the bubble shield recently, I've found. If you've got an offensive ultimate stored up, they usually pierce through or destroy it. Warlocks in particular.
Even the golden gun can take down the shield in two shots actually.

Same. I haven't done the Nightfall or Raid and I'm at 27 now.
It's just annoying that matchmaking for Nightfall or Weekly Strikes aren't there. I understand for Raids, but for those other missions? It doesn't need that much coordination.

So want to do the Nightfall one first and then jump to Raids.
I will gladly let a hunter waste two shots of the Golden Gun super in my shield for the sake of them only potentially getting 1 kill.
But anyways, got to 25 VIP patrols complete with 25 to go. The moon seems to be a pretty good place to do that while I farm helium shards. I really just want to hit Rank 1 on my patrols to see how much of a benefit ibrecieve in mats from doing patrols.

So what's the best way to farm glimmer now that the old methods have been nerfed?
The exception being striker Titans can run in and use their super and obilaterate the shield and everyone in it.
I know it works because I've done it, multiple times. It's incredibly satisfying.

Same with bladedancers (which are a far more likely occurrence) it's been making me want to test out the effectiveness of the defender titan's ability suppressing grenade.

From what I've heard, you can get different loot for different difficulty (more than once)
Trying to reach Vanguard 1 seems like the longest grind ever. Annoyingly most of the good stuff is lvl 5. Only about half way after doing strikes and bounties. Urgh.
Not sure if I should skip it and go for pvp gearing instead.

Took three blues to Rahool, gave me two greens and Lord High Fixer hand cannon with outlaw reload and luck in the chamber upgrades. Don't think I've even used a hand cannon yet in my 170 hours with this game, so here's my chance.

Hell yes, thats become my favorite thing to do in pvp. Ive found with the shockwave perk i dont even have to run inside, just smash the bubble and the shockwave kills anyone inside.
that or level him and keep his pacakge at the postmaster till tuesday, because you havent earned those until you receive it from the post master.

Anyone on XB1 want do to the Weekly Heroic strike? I'm on the mid-tier difficulty (6 Strange Coins) and at the final boss. Trying to solo it isn't working out so well.
