404 seems legit as fuck, even if a troll: one of the best I've seen/read.

If anything, his responses give me hope for a more fleshed out story in the future: the more exposure the better.

DeeJ's response makes Bungie look worse than 404's did, ironically.



IN FUN RELATED NEWS, I'm level 26 finally, still sporting rare gloves and feet, so once I've got them (Vanguard is so close to L2 it hurts with marks for days), I'll be Raid-ready ish :D
 
This is going to sound stupid but I got a Legendary helm for a Warlock yet I'm playing as a Hunter.

Can I put it in the Vault and get access to it if I decide to play as Warlock at a later date?

Yes you can.

I got an exotic helmet for a Titan while playing as a Hunter.. That sucked...

Thankfully I been blessed multiple exotics for my hunter so I guess i cant complain.
 
Doing the Last Array daily mission on Level 28 for 2 Ascendant materials. Near the end.

If 404 is simply a troll he got what he wanted: DeeJ (representing Bungie) took the bait and made themselves look foolish in the process.

The peak of it is directly across from the 'hole' to the upper level of the cave-like area where enemies like to congregate. Yep, I also only have one exotic which is the Suros. Had to work my ass of to get the 23 coins for it... Still haven't had the chance to do a Nightfall or the Raid...

Also bought my legendary bond, though I'm saving motes to get one of the Speaker's bonds. Anyone have any theories on what they do? I like the look of Seal of the Twin Eagle and White Polygon Construct.

We had little to no communication, just kinda ran around and cleared what we could, ressed, try to pick a mob here and there. With proper communication its probably easier to focus fire 1 guy. After some time all the yellow mobs clumped up infront of the door to the entry way, and with them was Xyor, so just launched some rockets and focus fired him.

I brought tons of heavy ammo, though it required me to press start and use it, which in that place was risky as i died from practically anything. If 3 people bring rocket launches or high dps sniper rifles + extra ammo and focus fire it can probably be done faster.

Except, not to put too fine a point on it, Deej didn't actually deny anything. He said that we (the internet) is being trolled (because seriously, when is it not), and that Bungie employees are easy to spot in the wild, which... doesn't really do anything to refute anything. Yeah, they're easy to spot in the wild, they show up at "LF Bungie employees for Destiny Postmortem AMA" threads on Reddit.

Alright tow rumble matches played with the Vex Mythoclast. Two flawless matches with multiple people leaving the game. I think I like this gun.
 
Just for the fun of it, I started the Vault of glass with my brother last night, two players.

The first area, where you have to build up that tower we didnt encounter a single enemy, the tower got built and we entered the next area. is that how it should be?

I have watched multiple videos of the VoG raid and they all seem to fight enemies for that first part.

The gunsmith will eventually sell them. I couple days ago I was in the same boat, needed 8 more. Just kept checking and eventually he sold them. Factor in around 1600-1800 glimmer each. And remember, you will need to kill Nightfall strike enemies so if you have an arc Fusion Rifle make sure not to dismantle/sell it until after you gotten your kills. I had a rare Solar Fusion Rifle that I dismantled for the quest and had to use Plan C instead.

Just saw: What level would you say you'd need to be to beat the raid on hard?
 
Well that was easy and fast to do Weekly + Nightfall Strike.

Arc damage rekt boss so fast while he didn't deal bonus damage because boss uses fire :b
