My nametag just turned black and my level and grimoire score became 0.

What's happening?

A friend of mine had a bug where his progress was reset (more than once), but it was on newly created characters.

I don't want to lose my lvl 27 :(

I found a spot where you can respawn.

load up nightfall, hop in your sparrow and hug the right wall until you get to a circular door and head through it. you'll end up at Fire Base Rubicon with lv28 mobs.

they don;t respawn so you'll have to do a few runs. bring ammo.
 
Why is everyone making this game so grindy?

Just play it and enjoy it, and you will get good loot.

I am a level 23 hunter, I have played the story, crucible, strikes, and daily heroics.

I have really enjoyed the gameplay. Just play the game, and it is fun. Don't worry so much about the loot.

Wooooooo! Thunderlord is mine!

Just completed the nightfall strike with a buddy and an LFG guy. The guards weren't too tricky, but none of us had arc heavies or snipers. We pretty much had to rely on normal damage and my Plan C. But boy oh boy did it do its job. The tank lasted a minute or two. Plan C was doing 650 x 8 each charge. Or roughly that anyway.

As for the last boss, we kinda cheesed him. I hid under the stairs spot and Plan C'd the heck out of him. Things went a big square when he wandered to the other side of the room and the other two guys died but I managed to invis rez them and fire enough rockets to make Fatso McGattlingGun to come back to the right side. Another special weapon ammo synthesis later and he dropped! So chuffed to get an arc heavy, and the one from the early vids that they showed off no less! :D

I wouldn't mind if gear dropped and it wasn't for my class, at least I have stuff to give to alts, but just getting shards / energies is insane.

I also wish they had thought of more interesting trophies for the raid instead of doing it flawlessly, especially considering some parts of the last boss fight are extremely bugged,
having people go through a portal in the first phase and getting stuck because the portal doesn't let them out, supplicants not dying even after dropping them to 0 life, nobody getting ported to the alternate time stream and dying to oracles, everyone getting ported
, or at least just have the conditions for the trophy only apply to the boss fights and not the
platforming

Why couldn't we have things like,
Kill a Gorgon, Defeat all Oracles in phase two of the Atheon encounter within 3 seconds of each other, Defeat Atheon in under 3 minutes, Defeat the Templar with nobody in the raid being marked for negation, Defeat Atheon without the relic being dropped / without any Vex sacrificing themselves to the construct, Reach the top end of the passage between the Gorgon Labyrinth and the entrance to Atheon's chamber without touching a floating platform

Only good thing about that gun is that it has void damage.
 
Anyone doing the raid right now? I was queued up in a group but they decided to be dicks and just go without telling me while replacing me with someone else. I'd like to do the raid this week. Invite me on psn:YzeNup

I did that one and it was cool, it actually took some time and some work. a multi faceted mission. machine gun is amazing also I have 5 exotic weapons now....which one to use!!!! I have a exotic shotgun as my primary WTF!!!

machine gun is "super good advice" and granade launcher is Gjallarhorn :)

machine gun puts most missed shots back in your clip!!
 
The Rumor that the patch was supposed to release today was just another "Legend" turned to shit by the Cryptarch.
 
completed 10 out of 25 strikes last night for my bad juju bounty, gonna do the rest tonight. and i finally got to future war cult rank 2, so after i get the exotic bounty progressed it will be off to crucible to get points and marks. i needs juju and legendary legs.

then hopefully soon i'll be set to raid :')

That'll be what? April? Probably pretty bumpin considering the second expansion is supposed to be released in March.

I think it might die down a bit starting in mid October through November. When the first expansion hits it'll probably blow up again.

Bad Seed Down - Legendary pulse rifle. No one on here seems to like it but, the more I use it, the more I like it. I haven't even upgraded it for auto firing nor the massive stability upgrade.

Lucky Raspberry - Exotic chest. Bought from Xur. Love the adds to fusion and heavy weapon ammo. Best is the longer arcbolt grenade chain. Makes a big difference

The Swarm - Legendary machine gun. Nothing that special but it's the only other legendary weapon I have, sadly. Has a cool ricochet upgrade that causes bullets to ricochet off of a hard surface. Haven't been able to play around with that yet but it could be a cool little trick if you master it.

I wish there was a loadout, that way I can optimally weave between my exotics, without un-equip re-euip all the damn time during a strike because an enemy has arc/void/solar damage.

Even worse I want to to start a new titan build just so I can have.

Titan = Exo
Hunter = Human
Warlock = Awoken

Same here I got nothing from the handful of raids I went on in WoW before I quit. I thought that was normal.

Granted, I hated raids back then. Might give it a shot in Destiny though. we'll see

Dude, you should totally hop in some GAF raid groups, there's a lot of people doing them on the weekend. It's a fucking blast - especially your first time through.

I added like 3 gafs last night for nightfall for instance. I'm 27 as well

I know. I need to do that. I thought there was clan support but couldn't ever figure out where to find it in game.

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago at lvl 28. It was back to normal after I exited the game and came back to it later that evening. I wouldn't worry about it.

Second week in a row that I've solo'd the Nightfall. Second week in a row that all I've gotten is strange coins, which I don't need. At least it was nine instead of six this time though.

I don't have any IRL friends that have destiny on PS4 unfortunately (we are hardcore PC gamers and I'm the experimenter), all of my COOP stuff has been done with people from GAF and it's been really dope.
