Best tip for exotic bounties is turning in 4 or 5 bounties at a time to get one to pop up for you. I've even gotten a ship blueprint from doing this too, so there must be some system in place here.

Weeeeeeellll if the pulse rifle will get a buff because it was fucked up i can't even imagine what's going to happen to scout rifles.

This weapon has pretty much been with me for the majority of my playtime, even now at level 27 I'm still using the E variant. I'm so used to how it handles now that I'll probably have trouble when I finally have to change to a different weapon. There is just something special about killing pretty much everything you come across with critical damage.

No crazy stats but love the way it looks, this is probably the exotic piece of armour I wanted for my warlock. It's also the first exotic I managed to get my hands on after having painstakingly saved up all those motes of light through my whole playtime I jumped on and bought my first item from Xur, a helmet engram, and rolled the dice...

Manifold Seeker
It simply just looks awesome, how I wish this was a legendary piece of gear because then I wouldn't change it for anything else... not to be, but this is still going to be kept in my vault.

What type of piece is Manifold Seeker?

Because doing bounties that give a small amount of reputation per day, or doing patrols that give not even a quarter of that(10 rep for mission, 25 for vip mission) is much better than trying to enjoy the game and grinding.

LOVE it. Such a balanced and pin-point accurate weapon.

Mine rolled with the accurate hip fire and kills increase reload speed for short time.

The rate of fire, range and reload are already 3/4 max. Impact is 1/2 and stability is full.

with a mag of 21 and the reload perk the thing just rips through targets and keeps going without stop at all ranges. The hip fire perk allows it to take down auto rifle users at clsoe range.

It also has the high caliber rounds option to put on when you want to stagger those large targets in missions.


Also has one of the coolest descriptions: "Found in a null-g hangar, drifting alongside 14 limbless and decapitated fallen corpses." lol

Is reading replies to your posts is not your strong suit?

Since the grind to rank up to 2, even with bounties, and space magic is so unbearably long there is a pretty good chance that a player will stumble over a purple Engram or two along the way.
 
Thanks for the those strike tips for those who replied. Also if anyone is doing the weekly or nightfall on the ps4 anytime soon, send me a FR. I want them to be done and over with. I'm a level 28 sunlock with the weapons needed for nightfall.

I work for a few hours and there's already a new OT at 24 pages. The Destiny train continues to steamroll right through everything in it's path. No way can I keep up with these threads.
 
lol I almost forgot.

I got a 2nd hard light AR last night (I think from crucible).

Game seems to be raining legendary and exotic on me now.

also thank you GAF and the destiny app for friends to play this with...... one more thing I have a friend in SF I'm in SoCal and he doesnt show up on my friends list until last night after I started a new character!!!! does this mean they have multi servers/destiny worlds? I always wondered how'd bungie would do it.

yeah... http://destinylfg.net is a lot better than the .com counterpart. It makes it super easy to add/remove/search and you can chat with other users.

Oh, another pulse rifle guy. I rock the Bad Seed Down. I thought I was the only one that used pulse rifles.

Fire rate seems pitifully slow at first until you realize you're shooting titanium spears moreso than bullets. You will enjoy it.

I used it briefly and it handles well. I have Third Eye perk on it which sounds great (radar stays active in ADS).

Wait, what? I thought all it's doing is fixing the engram issue? What all is this patch supposed to do? Or is this because if you get the purple form the strike pre-patch it will turn blue?

I want a second Suros Regime without the slow fire perk. I use / alternate 5 exotics and have received 8 total. Only two came from exotic bounties, and I'm whining about wanting a 6th. I'll also finish two more exotic bounties tonight :). A dupe at that.

I was using Bad Seed Down until I got Shadoe Price today. BSD is a really good weapon! I like it quite a lot but Shadow Price was my goal and I wasn't going to let that slip by after all the farming.

I'd be happy to, because this Nightfall awarded me Plan C which is Xur's way of saying "get back in there, blast some Centurions and help your friends"

edit: oh and also I've decided all good loot that is non-engram related comes from Xur.

Where are you getting all of these exotic bounties from? I have yet to get one.
 
I think its funny everyone is assuming the patch is going to make things better (more legendary drops) every other patch/hotfix has been to nerf people advancing too fast, think the legendaries are going to be even more rare post update.

Yeah, i really want that gun too. I need to get my Van rep to level 3. Should happen this week. That said, I'm waiting for Xur this weekend to see what he has before I buy anything else.
 
I can't overstate again how awesome doing the raid for the first time yesterday was.

Taking down that Templar? Felt absolutely fantastic.

Would love to get that group back together and try again!
