I'm ok with that. It'll keep things spicy until the patch is actually released. Once that happens, this place will have more spice than an Indian restaurant.

I'm sorry, I mean until the patch comes out and goes in, "released" is such a prude term... unless you're talking about a release of sorts... ok, I can work with this.
 
Goodness, does anyone else think the turning speed while sprinting is way too slow? It's especially evident in cramped corridors, where you sometimes literally have to stop sprinting to turn around corners.
 
Funny story, tell me if you heard this one:

There's this game, right? And in it there's this vendor, I call her the Shader Lady, and she sells shaders.

So I go up to her, check out her stock, and I'm liking what I'm seeing (I can barely see shit because no preview). I go away, earn some glimmer, come back and clean up her entire stock. She's gotta eat, right? And I have glimmer to burn.

So I come back later, thinking she's restocked with new stock, but no. I do this every time for weeks, right? End of the world and all that, who's got time for dyes?

So I give her some time and go back again and guess what?

She gives me a fuck you and pretends I haven't been coming each day every day for weeks, and tries to sell me the same shit again.

What's a guy to do? I was seeing green. I mean I got played.

Shit.

People soloing the Nightfall, is it class/ gear dependant, involve finding cheesy "safe" niches, some combination? I'm a level 26 Hunter with crap weapons (blue at most) because I have poor luck and need to save up more marks to buy decent purples. Would I have any luck at it?
 
The RNG on raid gear is pissing me off, one piece of raid gear should be a guaranteed drop for killing the final boss.

Should I just upgrade once piece of non-Raid legendary gear to get me to level 29 so that I can do the Raid on hard mode and increase my chances of legendary Raid gear drops by doing two raids a week, or just save my ascendant shards for when, if ever, legendary raid gear drops?
 
When the patch finally does come you're all going to wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Possible, it would just take forever with poor weapons. So long as you have some arc weapons and a general idea of where you are safe at it's doable.
 
i'm a hard light magnet apparently. 3 in my groups between pvp and nightfalls have gotten them. too bad i'm not one of the ones that has one.
 
So, im sitting at work planing my time with the game tonight, eagerly awaiting the moment when il be home again, and its not just the grind addiction, im actually having a lot of fun, the combat is excelent, and some life and death moments in the Strikes are truly epic, and yet, i read everything that Bungie has been saying since the announcement (fully explorable worlds, controllable space ships, ect) and i cant help to feel that this game could have been something beyond amazing, mixed feelings i guess, but i dont have trouble admiting that i got my moneys worth from Destiny, even if find myself feeling somewhat guilty about it.
Oh well, lets hope the patch drops today before i get home.

Can't tell if you were being serious or not, but I don't think it works that way. When you're waiting for a movie to come out, it's not "in" until it comes out. The movie is in, but it comes out on Friday. The game it out, the movie is out, the patch is out. It's just something you say.

My feelings exactly. Amazing game, i'm addicted but it could've been something epic.
