Pocket Infinity at least has a long charge time for a fusion rifle.
 
I could solo the lv 22 weekly but I really just want to do this once and do the lv 28 one.

Gah I hate this strike the most. Either this or the Moon strike.

Why are the bosses in this game absolute garbage.

I have all of 2 IRL friends who play Destiny, both of whom are not even high enough to attempt the Nightfall, let alone the Raid. I've completed both. Destinylfg.net, /r fireteams, Raid Gaf, and posting in this thread are all viable ways to meet people looking to do the same content. My friends list has grown by like 20 people in just the past 10 days or so from casually looking for groups. It's really not that hard, and you don't even need to chat if you're ultra shy or nervous about talking to strangers. Simply communicate about what's happening in-game (guy behind you, need a revive, etc).

Add me on psn; JinjoNL, we have a regular raid group going of 8+ EU'ers. We knocked it out in two hours tonight, I'll try to get you in there, if there's a spot open you're always welcome to join. :) People sometimes drop out so it should be good. We completed it this week already though, but we definitely go again next week! (Might try hard raid later this week too)

All of us have regular jobs too lol, so it's always "jobfriendly" times. Early evenings (8pm - max 11pm) or weekends.

Pocket Infinity is absolutely overpowered compared to other non-exotic weapons. It has a limit of range, but inside it's area of usage, you kill people just by looking at them.

Yeah I'd be cool with that too. I just hope they change the algorithm up a little bit so we don't see the same map come up multiple times in a row so often. It happens to me a lot.
 
Quick question. Do Cryptarch Packages stack? I've been saving one for when the patch hits, but he's close to leveling up again. Will I see two packages in the mail, or will one replace the other?

Its not impossible to find people but I'd rather not spend my gaming time bugging people on here or spamming the same question to all the gaffers on my friends list like some beggar.
 
I don't care for the PI at all. Charge time is way too long and the ability to go full auto has limited usefulness. I'll take a fast charging fusion rifle any day.

I hope high level armor in Iron Banner will increase the "time to kill" significantly. I want a mode where you are really trading blows and very few one-hit kills outside of Supers.

Not only that, each shot actually drops the amount of damage each bolt does. I don't think people really understand how the weapon works.

It has a long charge time. It has a huge spread unless you equip the stability mod, which causes you to lose the 8 shot clip. It burns through ammo, and the longer you fire the less damage you do.

Pro-tip: Don't try to headbutt the person using it and you'll have a fairly easy time killing them.

This is a problem I'm having with a mate. He comes on at weird times and complains that I basically didn't call him to tell him we'd got a group together. He wants to put no effort in. I joined gaf months ago to get this shit ready and he wants it all sorted for him. Why can't he set up a raid group? I'm happy to join it, but I'm pretty tired of having to be the one to sort out basically anything when it comes to dealing with them.

In the beta version of Iron Banner I remember using a Striker Titan super and didn't finish a guy off. (he still had a sliver of health)

Normal Legendary Gear = 27 Light
Raid Legendary Gear = 30 Light

One Exotic (30) + 3 Normal Legendary Gear (27)+(27)+(27) = 111

One Exotic (30) + 3 Raid Legendary Gear (30)+(30)+(30) = 120

Corrective Measure is pretty damn sweet. It has the oracle damage buff. I can do a whole portal without reloading if I have a good partner.

This. I actually have too many people who want to do raids and nightfalls with me, and like the big slut I am I always just jump on the first opportunity what comes at me lol. And if no-one is at the ready a new match is always a post away in one of the Destiny threads.
 
So the record for most kills in a single game by anyone is 65 kills and was, to my surprise, a Titan.

Expected it to be Hunter since the added agility and movement speed is really important if you want to rack up a ridiculous amount of kills like that. The overall top 100 for most single game kills is indeed Hunter though.
 
I think I got all the Raid Weapons now. Already got Praedyth's Revenge, Athean's Epilogue, Vision of Confluence, 3 Found Verdicts, and now Corrective Measure.

Still no Raid Armor*. :(

The Light of The Great Prism does not count!

That's not true really. Sure, I've destroyed opponents before, but I'd have done the same with my blue or Legendary FR too. Each shot after the first does less damage and the recoil/spread makes it tough to get kills against fast opponents. It's still a great weapon but trust me when I say it's still nothing compared to green/blue Auto Rifles.

Is the legendary you get based on the mission you do at all? I spent about 6-7 of the wrath things doing the earth mission and only ever got chest or helm...

There are always people on here looking for more people to do the raid and nightfall/weekly. Just browse the latest posts and I'm sure you'll be able to jump in on those.
