Those of you that kept all your blue engrams like me... Keep track ofeverything good you got from those blues and any goods from leveling up the cryptarchinterested to see what everyone gets.
Aren't the loot/engram changes only going to apply to engrams obtained after the patch goes live? I thought blue engrams you got before could still decrypt into green items.

Someone said doing the bounties with "heroic modifier" at 28 was giving drops when handing in (can't find post now, sorry). Tried it with Sword of Krota bounty, received "Karuna, Falling" ship blueprint. Hardly a great prize, but any incentive other than "just because" to do those on 28 I'm up for, had been skipping them completely more recently.
EDIT: Also picked up a Legendary Engram that Cryptarch kindly turned into a level 18 sniper, at least that's the last time you can do that to me, Rahool!

Heavy weapons in arc flavour will do it.
Legendary gear+ is good obviously, but fully upgraded rares with the arc modifier should be fine too if you're all focusing fire.
For reference:
I did it with a half leveled thorn, a half levelled legendary arc sniper, and a half levelled legendary arc rocket launcher.

We did the Nightfall around an hour ago and I found a primary legendary engram along the way. Turned out to be a blue scout rifle
