Why'd they go with Asylum? Wouldn't have made more sense to go with Origins since it's more recent?

It's a maximum of $15 credit. So you can't spend $200 hoping to get $30 credit.

A lot of really good games on there.
Really looking forward to finally trying out Rainbow Moon, Spelunky and Drive Club. I was actually thinking of buying D&D CoM a few weeks ago after going through Dragons Crown. I already own Dust An Elysian Tail and Arkham Asylum (well all of them) on PC anyway so those don't really apply to me. Pix the Cat seems interesting

Yeah, this confused me as well. I'm not one to complain about free games, but it seems odd to give out a game that was released six years ago.

What is/was everyone's opinions on Ragnarok Odyssey Ace?
Basically, I'm ordering something off Play-Asia and if I buy Ragnarok, it brings my order to a little bit over $60 so I can use a voucher on it, so I'd basically be getting the game for $23.
I'm... not a massive fan of hunting games. I don't enjoy Monster Hunter and I got bored of God Eater Burst after about 20 hours. I did, however, quite enjoy Soul Sacrifice (haven't played Delta yet).
Is it worth getting for that price?

Either I'm going insane, or this is just an odd ball month for me as I am considering picking up natural doctrine +crime and punishment. Any updated thoughts on the game? Figuring the battles in ND can't be any more convoluted than disgea 4 can they? Intrigued by the puzzle aspects of C&D...

I haven't played Natural Doctrine, but it doesn't sound remotely fair to compare it's combat system to ND from what I've heard of it. Disgaea has never had the actively player hostile combat system that people accuse ND of having.
No, save your money for Soul Sacrifice Delta.
Edit: There is a PS3 demo for ROA that you can try out. Or you can download the RO (vanilla) demo on the Vita, since the core gameplay didn't change too much.
Well, Arkhamm asylum reviewed significantly better than origins so asylum might be the better game. We already got arkhamm city not too long ago. I don't really know because I rarely play batman games but my brother does and he liked city/asylum and hated origins.

Too be fair, I have played disgea, and the obtuse rules on the battle field kinda, really suck (different block colors, ect). Can someone elaborate on the reason the combat is considered unfair in ND?

Wow...so I'm getting Dust: An Elysian Tale and Spelunky for free?!?! Hell, I was going to buy them, but now won't need to!! Add that to getting SoM, October will be a stacked gaming month for me!
I'm still on the fence about DC. I know it's free, but don't know if I want to bother downloading it. The last racer I got and enjoyed was WipEout so I don't know if I'll like this.

I'm not too saddened by my Plus subscription lapsing now. There are a few good things I'd like to try but nothing worth resubscribing for.
It's cool that themes are hitting the Vita so soon but I'll wait until we get something Persona or Danganronpa related.

You mean Spelunker HD? I think it does, but it definitely has a learning curve and plenty of "cheap" deaths.

Okay month, disappointing Vita games but I want to play the PS4 games.
Yeah, I'd definitely recommend it. It's quite a bit of fun, there's a lot of variety in the levels - both in terms of aesthetics and and enemy/environmental hazards - and the modern art style has charm to it. There's online multiplayer, but no one's really playing.
Aaaand there's already a big (at least on mobile, aye) image on the list. Awesome.

If you haven't played Dust and own a PS4 it's your lucky day, amazing game. Definitely play it, super underrated.

Rainbow Moon I just don't see the point of. I tried it six months ago, and was a bit annoyed that a paid-for game was infested with FTP trash grindathon mechanics. If I wanted to invest 40 hours into a turn-based tactical RPG, there are half a dozen decent PSP games that wipe the floor with it in terms of the depth of combat mechanics and party development.

can anyone give me some tips on how to beat the last battle in Valkyria Chronicles 1?
I can get to the point where the boss retreats and down to about 1/4 life, but can't make any progress past that...
