For the bosses, spec weapons of light. I'd also recommend magnetic or special restricting grenades. Otherwise, I don't think there's anything much else. I have mine specced fully for armor (2nd and 4th column):

Just did Tiger Strike and someone got The Last Word. Good thing I already have it.
My groups usually have a defender titan place the bubble in the back of the middle platform. When they're attacking atheon, they all back up to take a step in it to get the buff while already getting buffed by time's vengeance + the relic bubble.

It's crazy how fast you can get at some of these. I did these over the past 4 days and I was averaging 11 minutes per strike. In my experience, in order of fastest to slowest:
9ish minutes
Nexus - Can skip everything except for the 3 Servitors.
Summoning Pits - Can skip everything except for 3 waves at the door.
Winter's Run - Can skip everything except for 3 waves at the door. Path is longer though.
Cerberus Vae - Can skip a lot, but multiple boss mobs and the tank slow you down.
Devil's Lair - Can skip a lot, but 3 waves + tank slows you down.
Dust Palace - Made famous for its many broken doors that require repair work.

I spec Blessing of Light because there's another Titan who already specs Weapons of Light. Having the defense buff is nice when you're all standing in the center getting smacked around by the Supplicants.

Yep. This strat works really well, even on hard mode (downed Atheon in 3 rounds).

So I have the Queens helmet and chest piece, to go with legendary boots and gauntlets I bought from factions, taking me to level 27. Do I upgrade the faction stuff first, since the Queen's has a lower light level cap? I haven't upgraded anything with shards yet. Just don't want to waste time and resources doing it wrong.
I want one dammit. Thats the last exotic that I really want.

Fusion with void, but I think a sniper rifle is the best thing for the raid IMO. You really don't want to be up close to most of the enemies in it.

That's pretty much how every raid I've attempted has gone, the glitches are what make it difficult since it throws you off, everyone has to be aware of how it works opening the portals and being teleported and be ready to switch roles if needed (which it probably will be needed).

Plus with a sniper you can get crits on the boss. I've seen crits for over 12,000 damage.

Just had the glitciest raid run of all time.
Atheon was warping from spot to spot, teleporter only took two through at a time multiple times, people got one shot inside the relic shield, it was horrid.
But it was all worth it.
Because we got the last word.
And so did I.
Wow... that gun still eludes me.

They are horrible and I wish they would banish them to the stupid vehicle playlist forever, but I'll take a reduction in frequency.
Knowing my luck, I'll get home from work and they'll be the first two maps I play, back-to-back.

Yes, it's up. But the patch only affects engrams that drop after the patch. If you have a legendary engram you picked up yesterday, it can still decrypt to a rare today.

I think that this is mainly meant for the Nightfalls, because as it stands, sometimes doing the last boss legitimately is a fucking joke if you get the wrong type of Elemental Burn.
Like, in some cases, almost completely impossible.
Once the nerf goes through is when I imagine they will patch out all of the cheese.
Not as good. Hawkmoon is the best hand-cannon in the game, full-stop.
I've got Lupi Alpha, which I like for the bonuses, but I wish it looked like this.
