2. Knucklehead Radar - As a big ADS guy, radar being up when I'm aiming with my primary is a godsend. Situational awareness can be vital when facing the more difficult challenges, and I like that this Helmet isn't overly specific in terms of subclass perks.

3. The Supremacy - First Legendary Sniper I came across, and a damn good one too. Mine has Solar damage, and has been very useful against those damn Wizards! Solid and dependable.

Appreciate the response, I always like seeing the reasoning. I agree 100% on Knucklehead, it's ubiquitous.

I have had this issue in the past and if you go to your system settings on the PS4, go to 'Sound and Screen' (working off memory here) and set all audio to come through your headset. I believe that the default system setting is to only channel chat audio through the headset. You will then be able to adjust the volume balance of game audio and chat audio using the buttons on the front side of the left can. Hopefully this helps!

Using a ps3 or a ps4? I've only used this with the ps4 so can't comment on the other, but as soon as you plug in the usb thingy and turn your headset on, all audio should start coming through the headset. Then you can manually change it so only chat comes through the headset if you want the game audio coming from your tv/sound system.

Anyways, if you want to get all audio through the headset, turn on your headset, go to:

settings--->sound and screen---> Audio Output Settings--->Output to Headphones. Here you can choose if you only want the Chat Audio to comes through, or All Audio to come through. Yours is probably set to Chat, This headset''s sound quality is awesome, play some games (with all audio coming through it) where you're not chatting with somebody, really is something else.

Have you or anyone else ever tested salvaging a legendary cosmetic item like the Warlock armband? Do those give you shards???

Hey now, I use virtually nothing but a sniper in PvP, don't hate! I actually was just rocking a Scout Rifle all game until I got my only type of legendary item, a sniper. As it was my most powerful weapon, I decided to give it a go and with the medium scope range option, not bad, not bad at all. If that evil demon the gunsmith ever provides fusion rifles, I'll be able to get my PI soon and we can infinity all the things together!

Wallach and I duoed this week's Nightfall as soon as it came out. It wasn't tedious, we didn't cheese, and basically went fast as hell. I had a blast. You need good arc weapons and you can rip it apart. I'm honestly more concerned with the regular weekly heroic because despite the checkpoints, the arc damage bonus especially on the boss just tore him up. However, I will be able to equip Pocket Infinity as a tradeoff for not needing Arc, so...

I'm changing my game plan for tonight a bit based on the patch and whatsuch... when I get home I'd like to:

  1. Nap. mmmm, naps.
  2. Help another 1 or 2 people through the Nightfall. Gotta knock it out early! AkaDemik and PikaPuff get first dibs if they're on, will ask for anyone who needs it in here afterward if they're not around
  3. Do my Weekly Heroic at 28. Will want two to help with that, this one is rough!
  4. Quick Crucible fix
  5. Tiger Strike marathon all night long. Will be recording reward results and probably streaming this.

Watch out for posts about each of the above if you want on my fireteams tonight!
 
I'm still wondering where that damn Titan chest with the fur collar on it went to. That looked awesome as shit. It might be one of the reasons I went with Titan.

My current loadout in PvP, and I'm loving it.

Still using that level 16 Dämmerung even though I've found a few legendary/exotic secondaries. Just haven't found anything that outperforms it in PvP.

The Suros needs no explanation. I know the cool thing is to hate this gun because so many use it.. but it's just so good. I like the way it looks, I like the way it sounds, I like the way it kills people really fast.

The Hezen RL didn't seem so special at first, but I got it upgraded so the clip size is 3, and it has a MIRV effect, spreading a bunch of smaller explosives after the rocket hits. Now it feels incredibly powerful, it has a very satisfying thunderous effect when fired.

If you hold the PS button there's an option for Devices in the menu that comes up I believe. Then you just choose to have game audio and chat come through the headset.

it really sucks that there is no exotic helmet for the Titan that has benefits for the defender sub-class. That would be more useful to create a real good raid set up.

Hieracon-LR5 | Sniper
This sniper is so reliable. A quick rate of fire lets me correct misses or go for two quick body shots. Its snappy, short scope makes it great for close quarters sniping, and the stability perks wreak havoc...until somebody comes up with a high impact galahad to throw off my aim. I'll lay this baby to rest when I find Praedyth's Revenge. With its shorter scope and higher stability and reload, it seems like a worthy evolution to the Hieracon. Like the Raichu to my Pikachu.

Admonisher III | Rocket Launcher
New Monarchy tried to recruit me and sent this in a gift bag. I kept the gift and threw away the pretentious letter accompanying it, but I'm glad they tried. This guy just wrecks. Perfect blast radius, homing projectiles, and it's got fast reload when it's empty. I also really like how it looks. I've gotten a bunch of popular legendary rocket launchers since, like the Unfriendly Giant and Hezen Vengeance. But they just can't compete.

Shattered Vault Cloak
I have several cloaks that I've worn that I like, but this one just completely 1-Ups all of them. It especially looks great with the Blacksmight shader, which gives it an ornate grey and gold tinge.

Honorable Mentions:
SUROS Regime - this thing is a monster. PvP has never been the same, but I wouldn't want to use anything else.
Bad Juju - very snappy and glowy, but also very useless. eagerly awaiting the buff
Red Death - so red. much death. great power and sound to this gun, but it's so damn slow
Shingen E- Reliable PvP weapon until SUROS showed up
The Last Word - I want this fucking gun


For once I'm happy with how my Hunter looks. Been juggling appearance and weapons for so many levels now.

Actually its pretty great. It makes your super even more useful for personal defense in PvP and PvE, helps you fill your super meter even faster in PvE, stacked with intellect to get the super even faster.

Don't forget that there are no benefits to stacking a stat past the 100% bonus, so you want to fit well with the rest of your gear.

I experienced enough suppressed rage at getting my only one from a Raid chest, not going to risk ruining it for nothing! Arm band over Raid armor or weapon, why RNGesus, why?

Snipers are how I 'try' to avoid AR and shotgun abusers, can't wait for the patch that nerfs them! I completed Nightfall last night but would love to join you for the Weekly Heroic at 28! I'm sure I'll be on so just message me on PSN but I'll try to check the thread occasionally too. As long as I'm not in the middle of a Raid, I'll be down!

Got me a Plan C exotic fusion rifle from the nigthfall strike. Finally something good. How much better is Pocket Infinity?

I got this as a drop too, but if I ever use a rocket launcher in PVP, it's hard to justify one with a single shot. Also wish you could just disable the tracking, can screw up a lot of shots if you're meaning to aim for a weak spot or the ground.
