Legendary engram dropped for me off one of the mobs in Sepiks Prime last night, and it decoded into a Comedian. The feel of just knowing that purple shiny glass orb is going to turn into a purple 'something' is a good feeling indeed.

Going to start leveling it up tonight.

I love my maxed Atheon's but a leveled VoC is darn nice too. VoC's full auto mode will ruin you for all other scout rifles. At least level them both until you get the bonus Oracle damage, that becomes invaluable on Hard mode.

Atheon's can tear down Minotaur/Pretaurian shields but VoC is perfect for certain Hard mode strats on the Templar oracles.

Leveling Suros depends on your other exotics. Obviously Suros is good for PvP and some PvE situations but it's moldly garbage as an exotic for things like Atheon DPS compared to Gjallahorn. Personally I think there are much better choices for raid exotics, if that is your main interest.
 
Also, that patch is the real deal.

Did the Daily Heroic yesterday (Sword of Crota) and scored a Legendary engram along with a couple Shards of Ass.

The couple Tiger Striks I finished got me pieces of Ass as well.

Cant go wrong with a nice piece of Ass.
 
I can fully upgrade my Shadow Price, but being really stingy with energies (have about 40). I am worried that if I upgrade fully something else might come along and ill miss out. Because it's so difficult to obtain energies in mass, upgrades are a rare treat.

Not sure what to do.
 
Holy shit the fire rate of Atheon's Epilogue is crazy. I thought 600+ bullets were more than enough, 2 min later I was hunting for primary ammo and I've never run out of primary ammo except in Raid.

For example, the Bad JuJu.

When you unlock the auto-reload feature, you can see how making it have more impact and/or making the clip larger can make this gun broken as hell.

I thought this at first too, until I realized that the Juju in its current form is only good for farming low level enemies. Anything that requires more than 5 bursts to kill still leaves you reloading every few seconds like you did before the upgrade. Especially on bosses, it's extremely pathetic as you don't even get the damage bonus.

Yeah I think that's what I'm going to do as well at least until I get the "glass half full" and the stability upgrade I'll see what happen from there, I REALLY like the gun though but the fire rate is insane, and I tend to run out of ammo pretty quick

I've been upgrading VoC actually and I love it but I also love this ugh. Well I'll take your advice and put my suros in the vault for now

Mine currently has 999 in reserves. Gun is amazing and IMO better than suros simply bc it does void damage and doesn't take up an exotic slot. It is a bullet hose that you rarely have to reload and is perfect for Minotaurs/praetorians in the raid with their void shields. Does bonus damage in the bottom half of the clip and to oracles as well.

So good.
 
Well I finally bought me a Shadow Price last night.

Just did a quick test and it's rate of fire is a bit slower than I'm used to with an AR but should be good for PVE. Reload feels really slow too, but there maybe an upgrade for that, I didn't look.

Its not bad at all.

Run past the parts that you can.

Have a void sniper/fusion rifle for the shields on the Psions. Thats the hardest part.

Just stay in the Interceptor and keep your distance way back and pound the 3 Chiefs section.

You can cheese the boss from under the right ramp near where he spawns.

I did it solo at 27 up to the boss and some others joined in to kill him.
 
I hit level 3 vanguard last night, and got Doctor Nope in the mail for free. Good lord the fire rate on this thing is ridiculous.

The bonus damage is about a 1.5 - 2% damage increase, it completely forgettable. But once you can handle the kick and keep it on a crit point the gun just wreaks targets.

Im at FWC 7 and all you get is their weapons, got their standard cloak at 6 (lol), and 7 gave me a shard and energy.

Moved back to Vanguard for the variety I want from the postmaster packages

Would it be possible to get everyone in a clan for the trophy? I would jump in then, Lv 30 Titan.

Already cleared hard 1x and normal 3x this week, so a trophy would at least be something, haha.

The weekly strike is a pain in the ass. It's not particularly difficult but the bullet sponge that is Valus Ta'aurc takes forever to down. Combined with juggler and enemies being stingy on dropping any ammo meant I burned through a bunch of ammo synth just to keep damage on him. I can't wait for them to reduce boss HP in strikes. Once you have the pattern down it just becomes tedious.

Still need to do the Nightfall. I have a Plan C that I expect will get plenty of work. Hopefully I'll be able to bang it out tonight.

I think they need to lower the amount of Vanguard marks you get for doing an activity. A string of Public Events takes 20 minutes and you can get 9 out of that. Add to that the Strikes and such and you're going to be hitting the cap really fast.
